Canada - Random stabbing outside Pickle Barrel, Yonge and Dundas, Toronto 2016

Police say the victim was standing in front of the restaurant when six black men, some of whom were armed with knives, approached him. They grabbed the chain around his neck, police say, and when the chain fell to the ground, the victim bent over and tried to pick it up.

One of the suspects then stabbed the victim in the leg. They then fled.

It doesn’t appear the victim knew his attackers, police say. The investigation continues.

These last few weeks have seen an unusual, imo, amount of random stabbings in the heart of the city.
Wondering what is causing this rash of violence, could the mild winter be affecting people's behavior in some way?
imo,speculation.

Security camera images of the six men have been released. They are to be considered armed and dangerous.

Suspect #1 is described as having long black hair tied in a ponytail bun, wearing a black jacket with silver buttons on the shoulders, a grey hoodie, grey trackpants, and white running shoes.

Suspect #2 is described as wearing a black hoodie, red jacket, black pants, and white shoes.

Suspect #3 is described as thin build, wearing royal-blue trackpants with a white logo on the upper thigh (possibly a Toronto Blue Jays logo), blue shoes with white soles, a black jacket with a white logo on the left arm and a dark-blue hoodie.

Suspect #4 is described as medium build, wearing blue jeans, beige boots, a puffy ribbed black jacket and a dark hoodie.

Suspect #5 is described as thin build, over 6'. He was wearing black trackpants with white stripes down the sides and a white logo on the upper left thigh, a grey-and-white camouflage sweater with a hoodie and white running shoes.

Suspect #6 is described as black, short and chubby build, wearing baggy light-blue jeans, white running shoes, a black jacket with a fur hood and a white logo on the front left breast and white running shoes.
