Welcome to Ws Ford350!There is something very wrong with this whole missing person case.
"About five to 10 volunteers are expected to take part in this Saturday’s search. Anyone who wishes to participate can get involved by visiting the Missing: Ryan Shtuka Facebook page or going online to ryanshtuka.com.
It’s close to two weeks from opening day at the resort, but for Heather Shtuka, Dec. 1 is a more poignant date.
“The year anniversary coming up is terrifying to me,” Shutka said. “Dec. 1 will be a year since I last saw him when he left to come to Sun Peaks. You know, the big hug and kiss goodbye.”
December 1st will always be incredibly painful for this Mom and family. Come on someone if you know something speak up.
Schier called the silence from the RCMP a "vacuum of information."
"Misinformation has just been all over place," she said. "Tons of rumours. Spiritual mediums are getting involved."
Jean Strong, editor of the local newspaper Sun Peaks Independent News, said she's read several theories online about what happened to Shtuka.
"Abduction to sex trafficking, to being involved in [the] drug trade, to aliens, to animal attack," she said. "Any other wild theory you can think of has come up online, I think."
Daybreak's Shelley Joyce set out on a mission to find out what happened to missing 20-year-old Ryan Shtuka, who was last seen leaving a house party at Sun Peaks. She spoke with people who have never talked to media before about what they believe happened that cold night in February, 2018. 26:26

I don't think your comment is fair. The public needs updates and information to continue to care about this young man. Hopefully this podcast will help solve this case.Completing the quote above "[Local newspaper publisher Brandi] Schier called the silence from the RCMP a "vacuum of information."
I'm sure this local newspaper publisher is very frustrated that police aren't regularly phoning her up to chat about everything they've found or not found, and sharing their speculations and potential theories with her. After all, the most important thing is that there be lots of content for her to publish in her paper.
I have a very good friends who had their son go missing years ago, they spent everything they had to try and find him. They are elderly now and will never know. This case has become one that I have been following very closely because someone has all the answers.I don't think your comment is fair. I just read this article earlier today and I also found the report stated by the neighbor to be very disturbing it actually made the hair on my arms stand up, largely because very early on I had a strong sense that this young guy was abducted in some fashion. People do wander off and end up in inexplicable places, but something is not right here. I can’t believe this report wasn’t publicized earlier...it’s kind of a smoking gun in terms of what may have happened to him. Thanks for posting. The report at the link of a man who lived near Ryan saying he'd heard someone that night yelling for someone to get in the [expletive] car is disturbing. I had not seen that reported before. That now makes me wonder if there is more to his disappearance than just inebriation/drug use, which was my top belief all along.
