Update: Case of missing Ahtahkakoop woman suspicious in nature
RCMP are searching for Sherry Michelle Ahenakew, last seen June 4 near Ahtahkakoop First Nation, possibly in Big River or Whitefish FN.

MICHELLE AHENAKEW - BIG RIVER FIRST NATION SASKATCHEWAN - MISSING 6-5-25
As a result of continued investigation, Michelle disappearance is now considered to be suspicious in nature. As such, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes has taken carriage of the investigation.
Michelle’s family has been updated and Victim Services made available to them. Residents of Big River First Nation may notice an increased police presence in relation to the ongoing investigation.
