I have a friend who lives in Ramsay and she uses Car2Go when she travels close to home..i.e. Stampede Grounds, night clubs...something to do with the price and convenience of the parking being included in the rental and the parking spot locations and having a car available after an event. She does own a vehicle.

Has anyone used this service?

I know she probably has a preferred professional/stage name, but I still found this interesting as she's been mostly referred to as Shannon (Madill) Burgess or Shannon Burgess (nee Madill). This is the first time I've seen it as just Shannon Madill.

ETA - UPDATE: in most of their tweets she's referred to as SM, so probably nothing

She left the house at 12:30AM on a Wednesday night and all she took with her is a set of keys, and a wallet.
If her "estranged" husband lives with her, he looked at her phone as it rang for five days and did nothing. When the phone rang and it was her worried family what did he do? He did nothing. He did not answer the phone.

She is accounted for at 11:56PM Nov 26. Where was she going on the city bus after 12:30AM on Wednesday?

I doubt she had enough money to buy essentials. it's doubtful wealth accumulation or money management were her forte...at least based on what I've read and heard.

I read a comment on Reddit that pointed out an interesting quote from SB's sister. I'm wondering if she does have some sort of medical condition, as her comment about eating is interesting…

I would speculate one.

As far as I know Car2Go is affordable as well as convenient because the parking is included with the fee. It could be a more convenient alternative to the bus and cab. Just an idea.

An interesting comment for sure. Is it possible that it was meant in another way, aside from a phychiatric issue - Perhaps she meant that because she had not accessed funds, how would she eat or look after herself? Is someone helping her financially? Just a thought.

Very true. It could be in reference to that. it's unlikely she had alot of funds anyway. Someone would have to be supporting her if she was in Toronto or Vancouver unless she was using the shelter system or had some way to earn funds.

Who knows... It was nearing the end of the month. Maybe she saves her rent money and decided to skip out instead of pay it out. I wonder if she waitressed or worked at a bar. Maybe she worked at Lolita's. If she worked at a club I bet she made great tips and had untraceable cash.

thanks otto, that's why I corrected my post. thing is, is her husband said 12:30, same husband that neither answered her phone nor contacted anyone for 5 days. so is that departure time reliable?

It could be. This is also an interesting point. Not alot has been said about her professional life aside from telling jokes. I wonder if she had other sources.

What if she had a couple of drinks with her estranged husband, and then headed to the Inglewood Pub; hoping to run into buddies.

Would anyone go there to buy a half-sack after hours?

Assuming that Shannon was drinking and wandered off by herself in the middle of the night without her cell phone, was she buying off-sales, or was she meeting someone? If she was meeting someone, why hasn't anyone come forward to report that she was her usual gregarious self after 12:30AM November 26, a Wednesday.

What Shannon's sister said is in the realm of optimism. As she said, she chooses to remain optimistic.
At most, I'm sure that the family accepts that she was spontaneous, an actor, and prone to self-indulgence along the lines of perhaps alcohol or some sort of drug.

Nothing suggests that she would disappear other than the possibility that she was walking down the street being a bit out of it without a phone.
