About a week ago, I mentioned the possibility that she'd been a victim to human trafficking or something of that kind. I hadn't read anything related to Model Mayhem yet though and this is... some scary stuff. I'm sure that Model Mayhem isn't the only place where models can meet such shallow and evil individuals though.

The thing that doesn't necessarily work about this regarding SB's case is that she left her home past midnight, without her cell phone and car. Would she really go meet a photographer to make a photoshoot at this time of the night? I doubt it. And it is for this reason that I believe that, if anything bad happened to her, the perp was someone close to her, or at least someone that she trusted enough to go meet them that late at night.

She could've already met the person several times before in social events and thought that s/he was a good, regular person.

She seemed to be working pretty hard on getting her career to move forward in the months before she went missing. I would assume that she met with many, many people. There are people who are using their position in the industry to take advantage of young women (and also, as we learned, fake photographers and agents...)

This has been mentioned a few different times, but I don't recall anything other than speculation here regarding her leaving the house *that night*.

Am I missing something?

I can't remember if you posted this already….But the photographer you mentioned earlier used to be friends with EM on FB, now I don't think they are anymore….CH liked a profile pic of EM's back in Oct 2013 but EM is currently not on his friends list.

how does one find out if a friend was unfriended?
I know that I can like pics of friends of friends that aren't my friends.

Ah yes good point, could be there weren't friends as EM's profile pic is a public one, so technically I could like it and we're not friends! Still seems kinda weird to like someone's pic if you're only associated through their sister or other acquaintances. I'll see if I can find more or if that was just a one-off.

It was reported that she was last seen at her home by her husband that night.

I just assumed that she would have had to leave her place in order to meet with someone...

Another interesting point is TL posts about Shannon's disappearance and mentions that her family has many family members who are and were police members.

I'm not totally positive the relationship of TL and EM, I'm assuming it's romantic because of the trip and the comments.

That is very interesting about SB's family connections to LE, I wonder if that changes this case a lot?

Another interesting thing that I read while snooping around is that EM stated on her bf's FB in regard to those pics found at Fish Creek Park, that they were 'happy' in nature... so I wonder why our lovely MSM would report them as being 'macabre'. Quite a difference, I'd say. MOO.

Have to wonder if EM is just way out there in denial land.

The deceased is believed to be a woman in her 40s.

ETA In another article it said the autopsy was postponed until today (Tuesday). Says believed to be a woman in her 40s.. but one never knows?
