Canada - Sina Parsi, 32, found murdered, Toronto, Ont, 9 June 2015 - *Arrests*

Why not just rob the guy and not kill him?

That doesn't happen often in Canada -- usually a murder has a motive.

hummm...leaves soccer game early, usually stays until the end and goes for coffee with buddies, caught on cam withdrawing his prolly daily limit of $400 and first degree murder charges for a young couple on the run.....sounds like a john robbery gone wrong, cell records will tell the story, rip sina parsi sounds like you were in the wrong place at the wrong time

or drug deal gone wrong....MOO

In this poster it says that the murder took place on Friday. Also, to me the security photos in the poster look like they were taken at the apartment building.

I wonder if the date of the murder is the date his body was found?

Now why was sira in the apartment? He wasn't killed in the woods. Did he meet one or both of them near the wooded area and then proceed to their apartment? How far is it from the place his truck was found?

And what was the story with "body found in railway yard", if they found SP's body in an apartment?

That was just speculation by me on another thread in the TB case based on the original reports of the general area where his body was found. There is a large railway yard in that area. It was not reported in MSM. However LE very quickly released the actual location of where his body was found so we can disregard that speculation.

If his wallet was dropped somewhere near or in the wooded area how does that figure into how he ended up in the apt alive before being murdered? Or did the perps walk back to that bank with his wallet after he was murdered to try to withdraw cash and THEY discarded the wallet near his vehicle?

Was that original report incorrect and it wasn't SP who withdrew the $400 but rather the suspects? Or did he withdraw the $400 and the suspects tried to withdraw more but were unsuccessful due to a daily limit or insufficient funds?

I think LE are using the date of discovery in that poster pending autopsy results. It probably should say "on or about" though.

Been some confusion in the reporting .... first said Sira withdrew money from bank .... another says the suspects withdrew the money .... yet another report says Sira withdrew money and later the suspects also tried to withdraw money.

Most likely the last one is correct .... my guess anyway.

I agree, and it may have been them who discarded the wallet in the wooded area after their failed attempt to withdraw more funds from the account rather than them who robbed SP in the wooded area, dropping the wallet in that robbery, and then somehow got him to their apt either alive or deceased.

The picture of the male suspect looks like a possible bank surveillence camera still photo while the pictures of the female suspect look like a possible apartment surveillence camera still photo. So perhaps only he went to the bank while she stood watch over the victim?

.

Did the accused come back later and drop the wallet near the truck?

There is no reasonable way to conclude Sira was forced to go up into the apartment .... it is simply too much of a public setting .... I am thinking he went there voluntarily (lured as a John customer or for drugs or party or whatever) .... then was robbed and killed and the wallet later returned to near the truck and strip mall.

Or maybe things went wrong at the apartment and (the accused) had to fight off (the customer) and then they fled the scene because he died. I do not think it was planned (the killing) ... there is no way the (accused couple) would have purposely done that and then left the body in their own home for police to find.

Something doesn't add up.

Could he have been buying something off kiijii or similar?

Since the news lately that OPP detachments and city police stations have been opening an area in their buildings to conduct these types of sales, I have been wondering if these types of robberies have been on the rise in Ontario

According to a tweet an apartment on Woolner Ave was taped off by police. And a dumpster was removed. Rumour only.

...I'm thinkin the police must have something of concrete evidence to show a planned murder to lay the first degree charge, time will tell, I bet they try to hide out in some french community somewhere, being on the run JMO

Looks like the apartment is just south of the wooded area sina was seen walking towards. Interesting that the suspects are a male female couple. Reminds me of the case of the native girl who was killed by a young couple who tried to access her bank account via online banking.

Wonder if this couple was renting an apt. from victim?
Also wonder if a dog is commanded to attack, and death resulted, would that be considered manslaughter or first degree murder charges for dog owner?
speculation, imo.

http://www.cbc.ca/m/news/canada/tor...ouart-wanted-in-death-of-sina-parsi-1.3112483

"Investigators said Parsi's body was found in an apartment at 230 Woolner Ave, near Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue West in central Toronto, about 22 kilometres from where he was last seen alive, well north of the city in suburban Vaughan. "

"Parsi was last seen leaving a soccer game in the Teston Road and Highway 400 area on Tuesday around 11:20 p.m. ET. He drove away in his 2012 black Dodge Ram pick-up truck.

On Thursday, police found his truck in a Jane Street and Alliance Avenue area parking lot around 1:15 a.m. Parsi was not with the vehicle, but a passerby found his wallet nearby."

So he parked about a block away from the apartment building and walked to, it sounds like. That's suspicious behavior. So how long did this couple live in ON? He's from NB she's from QC. Did they know SP? And how? So many questions.

I thought he was last seen on camera, near the Tim Hortons in the strip mall, walking past his vehicle and walking south towards the wooded area?
