Still Missing Canada - Taylor Samson, 22, Halifax, NS, 15 Aug 2015 *Retrial 2023 Guilty*

  • #221
With the amount of manpower they have searching the properties in the Lower Truro area they must be very confident that they are going to find Taylor.

Tons of searchers from all over the province are there.

Wasn't he just about to start med school?
ETA: Not that you need a medical degree to dismember someone, of course.

Yes and no,
He was about to start first year at Dalhousie, he had previously been rejected at Dalhousie, but he did study a year in Dutch Caribbean Islands

" Last year, he studied at Saba University School of Medicine, which is on a small island in the Dutch Caribbean."

"According to his LinkedIn history Court documents show Sandeson has no prior offences. profile, Sandeson has been a volleyball statistician, personal trainer and customer service representative at Dalhousie University. He attended Saba University School of Medicine from September 2013 to January 2014,.."

Probably not - sounds like it started with just a regular traffic stop and went from there. A lot of drug activity in the Halifax/Dartmouth and outlying areas.

I will grab them and inline them so you can see them. They are great pictures and need to be seen to understand the area.

Thanks to Ladybug and to you!

I was having a similar issue to CValdez and could only see about 3 (the first and two random ones midstream) - great asset in the photos that I'm glad to get to fully see now!

I love when we have WSers who can help us get a lay of the land!

Thanks Dushi - really how was Samson removed from that apartment.......scratching head here.

Maybe something like the Bali murder?

With the sports/workout/fitness bit, maybe a (large) duffle type bag?

That brings up an interesting point. Will's prof (who also ran track at dal) argued that Will wouldn't be using marijuana himself because he would have been subject to regular drug testing as an athlete.

... yet we think he might have been the 'regular customer'.

Could he have been buying then to turn around and resell himself?

Hmm Still haven't found him
I was hoping...

Checking in after being away all day and there doesn't appear to be any new information. It has been two weeks now since TS went missing. The weather has been rather warm and humid during this period so am hoping that they find him soon.

I hate to even think this, let-a-lone post it, but I wonder if there is an incinerator anywhere in the vicinity?

No incinerators in the vicinity to the best of my knowledge. Not commercial ones anyway. It is something that should be researched though to make sure. In my line of thinking, TS could be anywhere between Halifax and Truro with Halifax being the crime scene and they found items of interest on the property in Truro. Not sure if WS would be familiar with any areas other than the property in Truro. The area in and around Upper Stewiacke which is close to Truro has been a 'disposal' area for murder victim(s) in the past. TS may not be found until the next hunting season which would be the November timeframe - that is if TS was put in an out of the way spot.

Rath said residents will begin to see an uptick in search activity at the Marshland Drive site.

“We’re going to be there, you’re definitely going to see a lot more activity there,” Rath said. “We just didn’t want people in Truro to think there was a new search, a new investigation.”

Rath said the Marshland Drive property is located behind the Truro mall and a nearby cemetery, and described it as marshland.

I think the hospital might have one but I'm not sure. Will worked as a patient attendant in Emerg.

Well, I really wanted to go look through the garbage on the curb, to go through it carefully. But my boyfriend didn't want me to, and he stuck around until I went to sleep. I thought I'd go at the crack of dawn but I overslept. Then I got Rival Suitor to go with me, but he chickened out. On the possibly useful side, he pointed out that cracked glass. I thought I'd head back when it was darker, but didn't wake up. Then it rained, then I had this overdue paper. Went back tonight and it was gone :-( All gone except the Fed Ex box. In the place of the garbage that was previously covered with a white sheet, there is a single clear bag full of chopped up wood. See attached pic: http://imgur.com/eg9l1eD (it won't let me post it here - 'too large'). What's in the bag, firewood?

By the way, can you see all my pics (regardless of album) by going to this url? I can, and I'm not logged in. http://ladybugb.imgur.com/all/

<modsnip>Regarding the bag of wood, perhaps those are camping items that were removed from WS's apartment, as there is a propane tank and the silver thermos looking item, that may be used for camping?? I am able to see all of your pics at the link. Thanks for taking the time to take the pics and then posting them.
