I just emailed him and told him it was becoming apparent that he was obsessing over FCA. That if I was his wife I would tell him to stop the BS already and move on to another case.

Geraldo is a "journalist"; he is paid to obsess over people popular in current affairs and the news. In my opinion contacting him and giving him advice about his personal life is crossing the line. By doing so, one might get the impression that they were obsessing over Casey Anthony.

Who, exactly, does he have to prove to, that he met with Casey Anthony? If he has the money as he claims, until he has an actual interview he's trying to sell, I am sure he couldn't care less if he's believed or not. He might have taken pics, but isn't releasing them till after the interview is done, as to not jeopardize the interview. Or, Casey and her team made no pictures a condition of the meeting.

He may not care if anyone believes him but HLN should check him out before they keep putting him on tv. No one has heard of this guy and I've seen no proof that 1 million exists..

WESH Orlando yesterday reported that a “called Schalmo Production, based in Ohio, claims to be offering Anthony $5 million for an interview.” The TV news channel added that the company had tweeted allegedly “Just received a great call. In contact with defense team and Jose’s agent. 5 million offer for CaseyAnthony. Negotiations tomorrow.” That twitter account and the tweet no longer exist.

For me, since it appears that he never met a microphone or talk show he didn't like, and has been making this offer over and over in public, rather than behind closed doors, I'd like to see the proof.

Personally, I think the iorn is no longer hot for JB and FCA, and if this guy offers them $50 bucks in a week or two, they'll take it.

I personally don't need proof of anything. I'm vaguely fascinated by what I think is a fictional bidding war launched by JB, CM and GR via the gullible media. I think there's a possibility there are no offers and they're carping their pants trying to stir up a single genuine offer. If they don't set her up with a 'retirement plan' of some sort (read big payout), they'll never get rid of her.

Honestly, considering she's quite possible virtually unemployable, a million dollar payoff is not that great. Jose gets a cut, maybe Geraldo too, taxes take about half, she owes back taxes on top of that, the state has a good case for collecting fees against her false missing child claims... so that'd leave her *maybe* 200,000 to live off of for 50 years or more? Yikes.

I am trying to figure out how it would benefit ANY entity to profess to be offering FICA big money for an interview. I would think they would be just asking for a backlash and/or boycott. It seems to me any responsible party would be negotiating behind the scenes and then spring it on the public once the deal is done.
