I wonder just how arrogant CM and JB are feeling now ? The court seems to think, that the order Judge Strickland issued, was NOT stupid. I'll bet the court thinks that CM is though.

Exactly! DT said "Hey he can't do that! He has no jurisdiction!" and HHJP said "Oh yes he can and yes he does!"

I don't know.. I was trying to think of a job that was in disguise, hot, and uncomfortable. Plus little kids usually want to stay away from the mean characters.. (or run away screaming)

I suggested a while back that she get one of those sign flipper jobs, dressed like an ape or banana whatever and stand on the corner advertising some Going out of business sale.

If her residence is to be kept confidential - then how the hello can she work anywhere? The customer service jobs are in your face meeting with the public and she will be recognized - plus followed home to find out where she's living.

The theme parks are out - no way will they hire her. Although the Disney character costume is a good one and would keep her "out of sight" - they (Disney) won't allow it.

If she goes to work in any type of office setting - there would have to be security on the building and she still would be recognized and thus followed home.

The only thing I can see her being gainfully employed in is some type of position that she works from home. JB or CM will probably hire her as some type or orther email reader, typist - dictation deal, something along those lines. And they will have to PAY HER legit - with a paycheck and taxes taken out, etc. etc.

Plus, no mo pics of whooping it up with a bottle of beer. No hot bod contests (even as a spectator), no clubbing, - oh my :floorlaugh:

This is going to get even more interesting.

I think it's safe to assume by what she's shown all along, that she doesn't have anywhere near the maturity it takes to work any job 'from home', that is, without direct supervision. JMO.

Yes, it's sure to get more and more interesting.

If this is correct, she could in theory serve the entire year before the appeals process (assuming there will be one) is complete.

And what are the chances of that appeal, that took HHJP one week and thirteen pages will be struck down? On what basis would they appeal?

I've been lurking (on & off) in disgust for the last month+. None of my thoughts could be put into words without a TO or a severe evil eye from God on my thoughts & printed words! Saw the news & came here immediately. So VERY happy.
A minor victory. I'll take what we can get.

'Messing up' while not on probations is one thing...Messing up while on prob is another.
Patience dear friends.
It is only a matter of time.

I am also hopeful other pending matters will come to pass in good time, justice shall prevail in the end.

And that's JB's first order of business. She HAS TO HAVE a residence - a valid address. That is going to be a problem. Buildings with high security cost $$$$$ in rent. Or do you get her a side in a "duplex" in a residentail area and then hire your own security? Such a dilemma. lol

Then JB or CM have to figure out how much to pay her for "the job". Will it be enough to pay the rent, utilities, food, security, etc? - lol

I'm so glad the DT got to have their lil celebration after the verdict - cause that verdict is coming right back around to slap them up-side their collective heads.

I plead complete ignorance on the levels of appeal,but if this sets a precedence,and I think it will , the appeals process will be critical.This isn't just about Casey anymore. A can of worms was opened in the DOC and how they are interpreting sentences. Probation IN JAIL just makes no sense.It defeats the purpose entirely,yet they didn't even bother to clarify it with JS.

Hopefully ,FL will take a good hard look at who is making the decisions and why .

I agree with you, it is going to open up a can of worms. People serve probation in the jail all the time (in Texas) while in jail for another crime. But to be honest, there are a very high number of people that choose jail time, instead of probation, that way when they leave the jail they are free from probation and don't have to pay fines.
This is a very intresting sentance and I will be surprised if it isn't appealed.

God, for the first time, I am feeling some relief. I know this is small, but the thought of Casey being some big, infamous celebrity raking in money just infuriated me. Now, she's going to be like any other felon at least for a year, struggling to survive and play by the rules (that she will most likely break). Thank you God, HHJP, and most of all, HHJS. There is some measure of justice here after all!

I can rest a little easier now. It's like a burden has lifted off of my shoulders. God Bless you, Caylee. You'll be in my heart forever.
