Someone said this really isn't a big deal, well even if it's not for Casey, it sure is for her defense team - whe is now wholly, completly their financial and legal responsibility for a year, more time to argue appeals and waste their time with this mess, THEY have to provide food, lodging, etc, and even more legal assistance once she screws up, if she does, or once the chit hits the fan with her and the public - once again.......I LOVE IT

I know that's why I'm happy. She just became the DT's burden instead of their money tree. I am sure they aren't happy at all right now!

OK here is a what if:

OCSD arrest Casey for lets say drunk and disorderly or theft.. you can bet your sweet butt that her attorney's will file charge of the OCSD for harassment. Another Circus to where the OCSD/DA will not want anything to do with that.

Are you saying that the OCSD and SA's office should be afraid to enforce the law just because she's KC? I think most of the guys and gals here in OC would be very happy to be the one to arrest her for any violation. For once she's being treated like everyone else... that's as it should be. She is not a celebrity, not a princess, not a jet-setter. She is a felon on probation and is subject to all the same rules, regs and laws as everyone else. I love it!! :woohoo:

Any Job Casey gets I wonder if the IRS will garnish her wages. Will JB pay the IRS? When will her attorney's stop forking over money for her? When will they all grow tired of her? Will we see Casey arrested of tax evasion charges eventually? Did the DT work out a payment plan with the IRS for Casey? Has there been any appeals with the IRS?

When is it just enough and they all wash their hands of CASEY? I mean she must be a big money pit for them all having to dole out money here and there. Even TM has forked over a lot of money and resources to date. Really when will they stop?

The "finding a job" requirement will have many complications and tentacles. If she has already sufficient funds to support herself, the indigent filing is in jeopardy, the IRS will be on her doorstep, and they are persistent buggers, folks filing suits against her will be very very interested.
I guess the DT almost has to give her a job somewhere to comply with that requirement in order to keep other income sources under the covers.
Oh,, how complicated life has become for her. Don't you love it.

No, All they have to do is show up at a the probation office and talk to an officer for a 30 hour or so, once a month or whatever was ordered. The probation officer asks them questions about what they are doing with their life. If they are not working, he tells them they have to work. Someone on here wrote that the probation officer can get them a job but I never heard of that...maybe. If she had a drug or alcohol problem they would test her for it every once in a while. Its not a big deal really.

I suppose it depends on the person but for a person who has a long history of self defeating and criminal behaviors, little to no impulse control and self accountability along with a victim mentality and no insight into those behaviors, it is a very difficult task.

I shared many of the above behaviors from a very young age and could never complete probation. I always re offended before probation was up.. probation is more difficult than jail IMO.. jail, you just do your time, probation you have to follow the rules and laws that up until now you felt didn't apply to you... it's accountability for the first time in your life; People with no insight into their destructive and criminal behaviors don't learn how to live honestly over-night. Those are learned behaviors and one must get help to unlearn them. IMO probation is a big deal when a person hasn't been rehabilitated because more often than not they will re-offend.

Because they don't think Casey should suffer any consequences. They helped her get away with murder. I'm sure they are angry that Casey has to serve probation. That's a consequence.

But I am sure that Cindy is relieved she will know where Casey is. Still, Casey is the princess who can do no wrong, so how dare she have to serve probation.

Bold by me... I disagree. But that's an issue we've rehashed over and over again, and this is a day for celebration! :fireworks:

just heard.

'bout time.

ya know we luv ya HHJP, but just have no idea why this took 10 days of research. :shakehead:

I see Baez got a diss & a handslap from HHJP but - not Cheney? Or did I miss somethin'? :waitasec:

Regardless, take that, you dirty DT. :maddening:

Congrats OSU & surrounds. :great:

And, BTW, my sympathies to Orange County, the probation dept there, & perhaps even to the rest of the Anthonys. :innocent:

:cow:

What reason would there be for the fact she was on probation to prevent her from earning money?

Can she not do a interview for money now that she's on probation? Why would her probation prevent that?

Look at what FICA chose to do when released, exit a plane with a bottle of beer in hand. Probably not the first drink she had that day? For some probation might be an easy task but for someone like her it has to be ticking her off more than a little. I'm sure her plans didn't include returning to the scene of the crime. She will be forced to change her whole way of living..telling the truth, working at a real job, no drugs, no more drinking to forget what she's done...being a responsible person...I'll believe it...never.

According to Ch.6 TV today- Judge Perry stated the Probation Board can allow her to live and serve her probation in any state since she is considered the most hated person in the US. But she must make her first appearance in Orlando to get their permission.

She can live and serve her probation in any state SINCE she is considered the most hated person in the US?

I'd like to see them be successful with that lawsuit of harassment. They wouldn't get anywhere unless the jury was filled with the Pinellas 12. No, if Casey messes up on probation and they can prove that she broke the law or even if the evidence is shaky any normal jury will throw the book at her because they believe she got away with murder, and she did. Look what happened to OJ. If Casey ever gets in trouble with the law again the chances of her skating scott free again are slim, again unless her BBF the Pinellas 12 are sitting on her jury.

Tim Miller has had 2 great days here! And his best day is coming in the civil deposition with Casey. And we get to watch it free!!!!

Eat that Casey!

I disagree. She's marketable as long as she continues to stay in the newscycle. All this does is reinforce that a little more. Now the news agencies have a reason to follow her around, see what she's up too, she if she's going to violate parole.

MOO

Right... and if the news agencies are publishing all these photos they are taking for free it will be really hard for KC and her boys to sell any of their staged stuff like they did in Ohio.

And the state she wants to go to has to accept her.

So, it sounds like you believe it helped you. Do you think it changes others that are convicted for the better? To me, it sounds like they just have to go through the motions.

Exactly. OJ looked like the world's biggest idiot when he was sent back to jail. It's like, dude, you got acquitted, and this is how you chose to live your life? He got a second chance and ruined it royally. I still snicker when I think about it. Oh please, Casey, do something so idiotic that you will go down in history as the dumbest criminal ever. She will eclipse OJ, I just know it.

I agree ... but it is my opinion that her DT are already tired of her ... they were only in it for the $$$$$ ... which hopefully will dry up now ...

So ... I am wondering that WHEN she "screws up" -- because she WILL -- if CM will "bolt" ?

I know Mason was there for last week's hearing on the probation issue but Mason was NOT one of her original attorneys for the "Check Fraud" ... Baez and Andrea Lyons were her attorneys for that ...

It's going to be interesting to see which of the attorneys stay on board with the felon and which ones will jump ship ...

I guess it will all boil down to the almighty $$$$$ ...

MOO ...

I hope that she gets the help she needs to become a productive member of society but like you I can't see it happening on it's own.

I'm sure Texas would have no problem accepting her. Just come into our parlor, Casey, please. Don't mind these guns behind our backs. LOL.
