Here's the bitter-sweet of it:

AWESOME that in at least some small way she is being held accountable for her actions (at least the stealing/check fraud part).

CRAPPY that she'll be back here again. Speaking for my fellow Floridians (and plase forgive my presumptions), "KC, we don't like you any more than you like us."

JVM sure has changed her attitude since the verdict. During the trial she was all about "the states doing such a great job, she'll get convicted". After they came back with the verdict her words changed. She changed to" Yeah I didn't think the state had enough evidence". And when I heard her disgracing Judge Strickland for bringing up the probation, that was it for me. It makes me angry they want to talk about him and claim he has something personal against KC, and thats the only reason he filed this correction. NOT TRUE IMO. Judge Strickland ordered her to probation once released and thats it... I don't like JVM and won't watch her anymore.

IMO yes. Probation means you can't break any laws and you have to abide by any additional rules the judge orders. But violations aren't automatic back to jail offenses... they are usually dealt with in a case by case manner.

I would like to have seen therapy/ mental health treatment as part of her probation requirement but that's just me.

Why were you put on probation in the first place?

I think it's probably pretty easy for people who have never served probation to assume it's "no big deal". It's not about the showing up it's about the behaving & following the laws.. for those who have proven they don't know how to do those things, probation is usually anything but "no big deal".

Now she's backpedalling..don't get me wroooong I think the jury got it wrooooong but this is check fraud for less than $500 and the judge is flexing his muscle because justice was denieeed. :sick: Bull hockey! Her buddy JB tried to full a fast one on HHJP and it didn't work like it did with the jury.

Yes, Baez's main office is in Osceola County,
Mason's office is in Orange County, who knows Baez may have a room there.

Oh my, I certainly would not like to see folks probation revoked for an offense that just requires paying a fine and does not require a mandatory court appearance. I hope any probation officer has some wiggle room here.

IIRC, it was not Jose Baez's wife but the other Jose on the Team..Jose Garcia, and I think he left the firm to work elsewhere.

I so agree. I think she is kissing some b*tt to get an exclusive, IMO...

JVM just said it was less than $500.00 in bad checks??? Where is she getting her info? She had thirteen charges and is d#$n lucky Strickland dropped seven for a plea deal. Of course, that is if she follows the probation rules.

I hope I'm wrong again but I still see her team protecting her and giving her a job. They should be sick of her by now but will wait the year out for a big payoff. I hope there's nothing left in the pot if she succeeds.

LOL I had my car towed (though it was in my mothers name and she was an enabler and would pay to get it out of lock up and give it right back to me), had 2 years added to my probation and I was unable to get my license back until 4 years ago, it cost thousands of dollars to get back and came with 8 points (10 points and your license is revoked) and I have to have SR-22 insurance.

That's the point I was trying to make about the criminal mind-set.. I simply didn't care..

Money was only part of those charges...I guess JVM thinks it's okay to Forge someone's name and not be charged with Forgery.
