Casey To Serve One Year Probation

I dunno but if I publicly tried to humiliate and accused my brother of groping me in front of millions of people I might not be able to look him in the eyes at his wedding, or his fiancee either, but that's just me... :innocent:

Maybe Misty does know something. I just heard about this case. I was not following it from the beginning. Still, though the detectives don't think she is a person of interest and an article said the drug sentence might make them talk. But still this girl was just 18 and given 25 years for drug selling. I don't mean to condone drug trafficking as a crime, but why do they sentence them to so long of a period? Also it said she was lucky to get "only" 25 years...she could have gotten something like 90!

I agree with you alleycat but I did follow that case and Misty lied almost as much as Casey about what happened to Haleigh. She changed her story so many times it was obvious she did something to that child. That's why I don't feel bad for her 25 years. If she had been anyone else I would be appalled, but she needs to pay for what happened to that little girl. Ron Cummings, Halieghs Father is doing 15 years. I do feel bad for him because I don't believe he had anything to do with his Daughters death except not having enough common sense to not leave his kids with another child. Misty wasn't even 18 at the time she was taking care of both of Ron's children.

I've read a few times here that she has to find a job, which I am actually surprised about. I didn't realize that this was a requirement of being on probation. Does anyone have a link for this? TIA!

From JPs order:

7) You will work diligently at a lawful occupation and support any dependents to the best of your ability as directed by your probation officer.

...another good job opportunity for kc--

..she can clean up the trash site (aka "caylee memorial") down off of suburban drive.

..she's already familiar with the area.

..cheney and baez can stand 'bodyguard' so she's "protected".

..( wear boots-------watch out for the snakes ! )

Legal expert on HLN right now saying the appeal has no chance and she might as well get her plane ticket now.

:great:

ZsaZsa, think about the family we're talking about "the Anthonys". They do not think like the rest of us.:innocent: Ms Casey probably already has her bridesmaid dress picked out, maybe she'll wear the little royal blue number.:great:

..in florida there are mandatory minimuns for drug offenses.
that's what got "that entire clan" the lengthy sentences that they are serving now.

Thanks. I think I may have read that. But I think that the mandatory minimum sentences should be rethought. I think all this does is create more prisons and prisoners. In 15 or 25 years they will feel like their lives are over and just be angry.

Ch13 orlando is reporting (on tv) that Baez has texted the reporter that they're appealing. So I've been watching the 5th District COA just in case. But no filing yet.
I bet they file tomorrow...I'll be looking. <wink>

One thing is certain, for JB , the word "quit" is not in his vocabulary. He just can't quit while he's ahead and it is NOT OVER for him. Such a liar!

I dunno. Patrons could also boycott such a locale. And many nightclubbers are just business folks with integrity. Is not Mark Nejame a part owner of a night club?

A nightclub in Seattle has hired infamous felons as DJ's guest "personas" and sold out the club. No one protested or banned the club, sad to say.
Some club owners and patons don't care. But, I hope the ones in Orlando do care and hope it's NOT the case.

BBM: MONEY MONEY MONEY !

The DT "thinks" they are going to make BIG BUCKS off of CFCA ...

Ah ... but we have NOT heard of any "deals" for CFCA and her "DT" ... at least anything that has been "verified" ... we have only heard "speculation".

MOO ... I do NOT believe that their "money train" has arrived for them and hopefully that "money train" will NEVER arrive for them !

MOO MOO MOO ...

Yes! I believe the DT is SO pizzed that their "money train" is long gone down the track.... and they didn't get a chance to "cash" in!!

I know she is hard as nails, but wouldn't you think things must be starting to really eat on Casey Anthony?

She is only 25 and already:
~ You are the most hated person in the country (and other countries)
~ Overwhelming majority of people are happy that you have to serve probation
~ A number of people are hoping someone will harm or kill you
~ Your own parents have seen through your lying & know clearly what you are

The euphoria of "getting off" has to be subsiding and the cold reality setting in.

I can see a big-time drug habit if for no other reason than to self-anesthetize. I can only hope that the Probation Officer will administer regular drug tests.

:clap: well said ... I see this as inevitable, FCA can be defiant but this wears thin at those low points of the day so, the same way her conscience surfaces when she sleeps and wakes in cold sweats ... This will also play on her and without real therapy and honesty, the truth will slowly destroy her. This is the karma FCA faces if she does not resolve what she did to Caylee.

..then again, she had accused him in her jail letters that went public---------he showed up in court and mouthed "i love you" anyway.

..if she does show------she'd better take it easy @ the bar, she's not allowed to consume "in excess" !

I was reading about this other missing child case....Haleigh Cummings on here and I couldn't believe the relatives of that child were given 15 to 25 years for dealing in drugs....oxycodone and hydrocodone an article said. I thought that was outrageously steep. One of them was only 18. I thought 3 to 5 years would have been enough. An article said they could have gotten more. Its ridiculous they give sentences on drugs sometimes higher than murder. Are those typical sentences?

Yep, I had big big problems with that too. After all two of them were just teens.

Exactly...I just thought they would have been exuberant that she was not found guilty of murder or manslaughter. To appeal the lying charges and now a big "one year" of probation is ridiculous!

I just think they should have been thinking the spotlight was on them after Haleigh disappeared. Why would they continue to sell drugs? This lassie Misty sounds like she came from bad circumstances unlike KC. The judge still gave them what she thought was a fair sentence. C'est la Vie! It's not fair!

Are you kidding me? They are appealing again? I thought JB would have accepted this especially after what Judge Perry said about him being blatantly ignorant. They can't accept any wrongdoing!

Of course they would be appealing. That was a given. I think HHJP even allowed for that, considering the time span, date of Court order vs date of first mandatory appearance for KC..
