Casey To Serve One Year Probation

For some reason I do think it's her childish slideshow!
Holed up somewhere in secrecy with no one really wanting to talk to her...it wouldn't be a big surprise if she is vying for any kind of attention. BUT, I don't know if she has the technical skills to do a slide show.

I do not recall her making a fuss about it at all. All I have seen is her doing what the doc told her to do, and then waiting for the court to make up their mind officially what she should do. This screw up wasn't her fault.

You know, wouldn't you think after getting off for an obvious murder of her own child, she would just DO the probation without making a fuss? Are you kidding me?? Consider yourself lucky and just do what you need to do without any of this drama!

Haven't caught up yet but is it possible for GA and CA to hire KC on at their nonprofit? She's real good at living off mommy and daddy

As a result of mistakes made one night, I was arrested, charged, found guilty of dui, and sentenced to among other things, one year probation. I was completely guilty and assume all responsibilty. The year of probation was NO BIG DEAL.

At most a minor inconvience of having to report to my po for 30 minutes once a month for the first 9 months, and after that mailing in the forms for the final 3.

I traveled out of state every other weekend for 4 of the months, and never had a problem getting a travel pass. These travels were of pleeasure trips, I could fill out the forms a month at a time. All I had to do was list why I was going there (I live(d) in Florida, and had (have) seasons tickets to the Dallas Cowboys, and went to most their games, home and away, how I would be getting there, and where I would be staying. I was never denied a travel permit. I did not work, nor did I have any verifiable income in the state of Florida.

The biggest pain? The $20 I had to pay each month had to be in the form of a money order - I had to stop some where and get 12 of them.

Well she knows she can always count on AMSCOTT

Was that a felony?
I know someone in CA who also got a DUI and HATED probation. Guess it's all in how you look at things.

As I said earlier, it's the mind set that get you into trouble. The OP says she made one mistake one time. Casey's entire life has been lying, stealing and evading responsibility. THAT's where you run into problems with probation... People with a history of criminal behavior.

As some one who has served a year of probabtion, I beg to differ with you; one year is not that long, it is NO BIG DEAL.

Yep... she can be arrested for almost anything which means going back to jail for breaking probation. I heard some lady on HLN say that one year is not that long... to somebody on probation and having to follow a bunch of rules, it's probably the longest year in their entire life.

Wouldn't asking for a stay defeat the purpose of her probation? Probation from prison is suppose to get you back into the mainstream of life, secure a job, pay your bills and learn to be a responsible adult. By asking to appeal on a sentence KC plead guilty to and the judge was more than fair in sentencing her, both judges in fact, wouldn't that be counter to her best interest. I mean what has she been doing while she has been out of jail. Hiding out, expecting others to support her. She sound like she really needs that structure in her life because she certainly does not have it now.

Idle hands....at some point in the very near future KC will obviously get herself into trouble of some sort or another. jmo

It depends on how old you are. When young a year of anything feels like forever.

Being the upstanding law abiding citizen she has become since serving the sentences she was convicted of, those 'little things" shouldn't bother her at all. Also, should she decide to become a full time student, I believe that would over ride the "find a job requirement".

BBM: She doesn't have a HS diploma, so the only thing she can enroll in is
GED courses. Some community colleges offer such courses, but not on a basis where she can qualify as a full-time student. Besides, it's a little late to enroll for the fall term. I think your baby-doll is cooked, she took a guilty plea on those charges, and now she is going to have to make it up to her community.

+respectfully snipped+

Was there any restriction on how long you could travel for (ie each trip)?

A year of dodging all these people that she says have threatened to harm/kill her would be a LONG time to have to show up to the Probation office.. IMO

Best of all, this will stop her from making lots of money. Who will want to interview her while she's on probation and living legally? What are they going to ask her, how's life on probation? LOL. She was worth more as a acquitted felon playing hide and seek! People will get bored with her, and NO MORE MONEYTRAIN!!!! Yes, that is what I like the best.

Also, people are now going to know where she is (in a general sense), and know that she has to get a job while serving probation. Yep, interest in Casey was just killed because how boring is that? NO MORE BLOOD MONEY!
...add the report released yesterday and we have a bonanza! I hope there's more accountability to come.
