Casey To Serve One Year Probation

I am getting tired of hearing JVM whine about poor FCA serving probation. She brought up the ragging crowd at the court house when they heard the verdict. I was watching and saw the crowds disappointment over the verdict but I didn't see anyone go into a rage. Maybe I missed it?

She also said Baez was probably appealing the probation right now and if the Judge calls for a stay , it will end of being a long time before FCA has to appear for anything. She also claims JP decision was political.

I don't understand why the court needs to be so concerned about KC's safety. Shouldn't that be her problem? There must be thousands of parolees around the country who feel they are in danger from their victim's families, gang members and the like. Most individuals who wind up in the legal system are not 'nice' people and probably are disliked by society.

Maybe KC should have thought about 'consequences' when she was busy stealing, lying and murdering her daughter.

They should be more concerned about other folks, especially little folks, around KC.
She got a free pass this time. That might have emboldened her to do it again if it interferes with her love life.

Well done! I sent a comment via cnn/Issues saying I was embarrassed for her by her comments that showed a distinct lack of her ability to absorb what was very straightforward language in the document HHJP issued. Perhaps she could get someone - other than Judge Sedlin who apparently has even more of a problem than she does - to read it to her and explain what HHJP was saying.

I figured if I went on full rant it wouldn't get read at all.

My thoughts are I don't want any big crowds screaming baby killer at her, I don't want helicopters flying over head and newcrews out following her, I want her to see the disgust on the face of her co-workers, and people who see her in the supermarket - I want people to turn away from her - if someone automatically holds the door open I want them to let it go in her face when they see who it is - I want her to walk down a sidewalk and see people cross the road rather than have to walk past her - but then maybe I'm just a spiteful biotech also!

And God help her if she ever eats in a restaurant and the kitchen staff prepare her food for her....

A trial date is moved up for a Floyd County man charged in a double murder case.

Berry Hall is accused of shooting and killing his niece Lisa Tackett and her husband Alan in March of 2008.


The trial was scheduled for October 3rd, but Thursday the judge moved it to September 26th due to scheduling conflicts.

You and your family are in my thoughts and I pray things come out as they should. Justice seems a rare commodity of late so we must embrace it every time it is served.

I do not believe KC is in any real danger. Sure, there are nuts running around and anything can happen, but that's a possibility no matter where she lives. I cannot see anyone with even one functioning brain cell wanting to go to prison for doing harm to this worthless _______.

But, I expect KC and her DT to continue with this "people hate her" issue for all it's worth each and every time KC doesn't want to do something. It's both a call for sympathy and a way for the DT to fan some dying flames, IMO.

I have to disagree, the crab puffs upset people greatly....just do a search of "crab puffs" here and you will see what I mean. The ABC person they were with at dinner actually ordered the crab puffs, not the A's.

Now, how did the A's support their daughter during this dinner? They ate dinner - should they have gone to McDonalds to show support? Should they have fasted? Were the people who are upset about this actually AT the dinner - if not, how do they know how they acted and what was said? Jim Hoover, who was with them, said they didn't mention anything - and I'm fairly certain they didn't because a representative from ABC was at the table.

They couldn't go home, and they had to eat - I'm just not seeing cause for anger at this situation. Besides, it's not like they found out about the body being discovered in the middle of dinner, it was found early that morning.

It seems the Anthonys never turn down handouts with benefits. :floorlaugh:

I fully agree to your post. Most folks will not retort with violence. Basically non violent shunning is much more common. Those deranged individuals that do select violence to get notoriety, select good or bad folks just to get attention.
Anybody that is a common household name, is always in danger of such nut cases.

I was so disappointed by JVM's ridiculous comments about this being a political move by Judge Perry, and an effort to be re-elected. Does JVM not realize that the verbal orders of a judge are to be taken literally? Judge Strickland said very clearly that the probation was to be done AFTER her release. It was very concisely stated by the judge. So JVM just looks silly by declaring it politically motivated somehow. I think she is just kissing up to Baez again because she thinks they are friends for some reason.

She is trying to avoid the natural consequences of HER OWN actions. Something that she has been able to do (with the help of her enabling family) for 25 years. It needs to stop. The DT, in my opinion, probably has no genuine concern for her well being, they are only protecting their 'investment', and with each BS appeal they file they further inflame the public.

This whole trial and it's outcome is like the Fukushima of the American justice system. The perfect storm of media attention, the subsequent bending-over-backwards of the court to avoid appellate issues, and then of course the 12 Pinellas County village idiots all contributed to this outcome.

The fact that there is an extreme amount of public outrage over this verdict actually gives me hope...that as a People, we have not completely dissolved into madness. We realize the injustice that has been done and it will never be okay.

I do not wish physical harm to KC. Some whacko with a high-powered rifle taking a potshot would be way too easy for her, IMO, and would elicit sympathy for her that she doesn't deserve. What I DO wish for, is that every single day of her life, from now until the day she dies, she is MISERABLE.

I hope that instead of 'la bella vita', she lives the rest of her life knowing that nobody trusts her, nobody believes a word that she says, etc etc etc, FOREVER. I hope she never finds the 'love' that she wanted with TL, and that from this day forward no 'decent' human being will want a meaningful relationship with her, be it a friendship, romantic relationship, whatever...that is, of course, until she RE OFFENDS, and ends up getting justice ala OJ. And I am confident that it will happen...I only pray that somehow, someway God will not allow her to have any more children!

I understand that the cornerstone of our justice system is the jury system, and the concept that it's 'better that 100 guilty go free than one innocent man should suffer'. But it's also hard to believe that Benjamin Franklin could have imagined the total effery of Casey Anthony and her vile band of supporters. JMO. :twocents:

And that crazy Anna Nichol judge said so too...he was really on Stricklands case as well. I happened to catch part as I walked by since I had left the tv on. I caught Brad Conway defending HHJP saying he is straight up, goes by the law and there was nothing political about it. He sounded really pizzed.

I think the DT is now using the "threats" for the benefit of the appeal. They hope the appeals court will see KC as deserving of special treatment and ignore all past rulings on appeals of similar issues. If this DT will try over and over to con a circuit court, there's no reason to believe they will not try it with a district court.

KC should be forced to come back and serve probation as ordered. If the DT wants to appeal that, it's their right. However, that appeal should be placed on the stack of appeals already pending before the court and not be given any special consideration. Inmates do not get jail or prison sentences stayed pending appeal so KC's probation should not be stayed.

That's JMO and I'm sticking to it.

When the truth really is , yes she is the most hated person around, but that is defined by no one wanting her to benefit in any way from what we all know she got away with! No more special tratment for her... a useless human being who most feel is truely evil and has not been justly punished for a heinous crime against a beautiful child. We want to see her pay, not rewarded, and that is by being shunned by society and kept from any good fortune that society could place upon somone.
She is no more likely to be gunned down than any of the rest of the people in this country. She is just oh so much more hated than anyone else.

Oh I agree, HHBP does see right through this nonsense. Unfortunately, it will be out of his hands when they appeal. His ruling will stand though, IMO. :rocker:

I think the strength in this ruling is the fact that Baez kept the information from the court, about the probation starting while in jail.

Shield/Sword. This was a very sneaky thing to do and it will be viewed that way by the appellate court. Up until the verdict Baez got away with his bad lawyering because they were so careful to protect the rights of the defendant. Well in this case Casey plead guilty so a tad different IMO.
