Casey To Serve One Year Probation

I have to disagree, the crab puffs upset people greatly....just do a search of "crab puffs" here and you will see what I mean. The ABC person they were with at dinner actually ordered the crab puffs, not the A's.

Now, how did the A's support their daughter during this dinner? They ate dinner - should they have gone to McDonalds to show support? Should they have fasted? Were the people who are upset about this actually AT the dinner - if not, how do they know how they acted and what was said? Jim Hoover, who was with them, said they didn't mention anything - and I'm fairly certain they didn't because a representative from ABC was at the table.

They couldn't go home, and they had to eat - I'm just not seeing cause for anger at this situation. Besides, it's not like they found out about the body being discovered in the middle of dinner, it was found early that morning.

People have to eat, just like people may want to drink champagne after a long project at work that has been deemed a "success", however there is a time and a place for everything!!

Generally speaking, if you are at your wits end over a missing baby and the public is becoming more & more suspicious about your poor behaviour in light of the situation- not to mention the fact that your own daughter is widely seen to be the baby killer in question & you are flying in the face of all reason to protect her... maybe, just maybe... and I'm a-thinkin' out loud here folks, you should be dealing with your dirty laundry in the privacy of your own home rather than whooping it up at the Ritz with some media big-wigs.

I've said it before & I'll say it again: when CA said she was looking for a missing Caylee 24/7, where was she hoping to find her? Under a crab cake, or behind the cork of a bottle of Dom?

I would have been physically ill from the day my granddaughter was unaccounted for. People around me would have had to force me to eat even a cracker. But...that's me. I really can't speak for anyone else.

Also, I wanted to add that the fact that the inmate has to actually get a *job* is probably a hundred times more frightening to her than being on death row where she can sit on her tush, think about her glory days at Fusion, and eat vending machine bon-bons all day long.

I imagine her little fisties and her frushtration that Her Royal Highness will actually have to get off her arse and try to earn an honest living. Can't you hear the screams all tge way from California or Timbucktoo or wherever she is? It's a marvelous sound!

Let's see... What could she be?

A garbage collector? She's a deft hand with those Hefty bags.

Or maybe something to do with industrial carpet cleaning? Mom could teach her all the tricks of the trade!

Chemist? I hear she's pretty good at mixing up chloroform from household ingredients.

Polygraph tester at the factory?

Wait! I know! Dog groomer! She's had 3 years of practise sitting alone in her jail cell!

And, let's face it - any probation officer of Casey's is going to be sure to enforce each and every item on this list. That's probably not always the case with other felons because of how overloaded the probation department is - but, not this time. They will make a POINT of following through with everything they are supposed to with her.

I know from personal experience, that even misdemeanor probation is followed ridiculously to a T. A family member of mine was on 6 months probation for driving without a license..when they weren't even pulled over. Yes, it's breaking the law..but if they don't complete a ridiculous amount of community service..despite the fact that they work 50+ hours a week and are the sole caretaker of 3 children, my family member faces jail time. They are being punished far more so than Casey. Ridiculous, IMO.

Me too, ITA. you'd have to knock me out and stick an IV into my arm- I wouldn't be able to do anything for myself but be hysterical. (I hope you caught the sarcasm in my post about the champagne drinking after a "victory"!)

But those Anthonys however.... They are such unusual people.

My apologies if this has already been posted, I have not read through the entire thread.

<snipped>Mark Lippman stated, “I believe (and it is anticipate) that Casey Anthony will not serve her probation in Orlando and most likely will not serve her probation in the State of Florida. It is a common practice to have a Defendant that resides out of state register for probation in the state and county where the probation was ordered, and then immediately transfer the probation to a state that can accommodate the probation.

“Another possibility is that Casey Anthony will be given a type of administrative probation where she will either have the ability to call her probation officer or write the Office of Probation identifying her status for the month. This possibility allows Defendants to be put on probation anywhere in the world.”

Mark Lippman made the statements on behalf of his clients George and Cindy Anthony. Lippman has voiced concerns that citizens will mistakenly believe Casey Anthony is living in Orlando with her parents drawing undue attention to the Anthony’s who continue to mourn the loss of their granddaughter.

Is it just me or does anyone else find Mark Lippman as shady as any one of the Anthony's?

Without a doubt!

ROFLMAO!!! :floorlaugh:

Yes, she is quite experienced at it! :great:

I never noticed before, and not sure why I'm seeing it now, but I just realized there are two trails. What an unusual person.

Well I can top that one LL....I never even noticed the trails at all...I wonder what I thought I was looking at each time I saw this photo,lol............good Lord I am so off, lol.

She is trying to avoid the natural consequences of HER OWN actions. Something that she has been able to do (with the help of her enabling family) for 25 years. It needs to stop. The DT, in my opinion, probably has no genuine concern for her well being, they are only protecting their 'investment', and with each BS appeal they file they further inflame the public.

This whole trial and it's outcome is like the Fukushima of the American justice system. The perfect storm of media attention, the subsequent bending-over-backwards of the court to avoid appellate issues, and then of course the 12 Pinellas County village idiots all contributed to this outcome.

The fact that there is an extreme amount of public outrage over this verdict actually gives me hope...that as a People, we have not completely dissolved into madness. We realize the injustice that has been done and it will never be okay.

I do not wish physical harm to KC. Some whacko with a high-powered rifle taking a potshot would be way too easy for her, IMO, and would elicit sympathy for her that she doesn't deserve. What I DO wish for, is that every single day of her life, from now until the day she dies, she is MISERABLE.

I hope that instead of 'la bella vita', she lives the rest of her life knowing that nobody trusts her, nobody believes a word that she says, etc etc etc, FOREVER. I hope she never finds the 'love' that she wanted with TL, and that from this day forward no 'decent' human being will want a meaningful relationship with her, be it a friendship, romantic relationship, whatever...that is, of course, until she RE OFFENDS, and ends up getting justice ala OJ. And I am confident that it will happen...I only pray that somehow, someway God will not allow her to have any more children!

I understand that the cornerstone of our justice system is the jury system, and the concept that it's 'better that 100 guilty go free than one innocent man should suffer'. But it's also hard to believe that Benjamin Franklin could have imagined the total effery of Casey Anthony and her vile band of supporters. JMO. :twocents:

Very eloquently stated and I applaud this post!!!!

She was so drunk she probably fell backward from her original spot and once back up and squatting again started the second trail. Or maybe she and another "shotty" were seeing who could make the longest trail.

Such a classy specimen. First to pee in a parking lot (which in most cities is a misdemeanor, too) then to let someone take the picture and finally to post it on the web! Once again, I feel those three oh so descriptive letters welling up in my throat...

I never noticed the trails at all ... just she doesn't have tissue or even a kleenex ... nasty ... Yuck! :twocents:

:cow:

Okay, where is LancelotLink? I need to apologize because apparently I have something wrong with my hearing, not LLT! Funny - how sometimes I hear what I want to hear instead of what I am actually hearing!

I can't imagine an appellate court putting a stay on a probation period - come on! It doesn't make sense to me, especially after that slapdown on Baez in the middle of the document. There is no legal basis for it that I could find anyone quoting.

No worries. I have the same affliction. I hear what I want to hear. And you know what? BS has been wrong before. And it was the NG Entertainment Show. She has to have something to argue. Perhaps this was just BS allowing NG to have her come back. "Where;s Bill? Put Bill back up. You know, as a former prosecutor and victim advocate, I'll say..."
Here's hoping that she is right about this. The spoken word of a judge cannot be overturned by a clerical error. I hope JB tries to appeal this. I hope this is his Waterloo.

HAHA!! Maybe she crab walked, sort of. Either that, or she has another problem that has never been diagnosed by any anthropologists.

I finally got around to reading JP's order and I have to tell ya, his legal arguments for probation kinda fell by the wayside for me (knew what was coming), but, boy oh boy, his legal smack down of Baez was riveting...sheer poetry to my ears. Whoa!

ETA: and if ever there was a judge who has so had it with an attorney, Judge Perry is the one.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I can't wait to read the motion for appeal, because we know one is forth coming. I didn't like the outcome of this trial, but I found the motions and after hearing discussions very interesting.

When Mark Lippman became the Anthony's attorney and the Anthonys stopped doing any more media appearances, my impression was that the Anthonys had finally found a good attorney and were listening to him.

Once the trial was over and he's continued to issue statements on a regular basis, I've fast changed my opinion of him. He now sounds more like a promoter, trying hard to project a new image of his clients. He knows the public is outraged by the outcome of the trial and is trying to distance his clients from Casey.

He's got a product to sell. His clients are forming a foundation in Caylee's name and he no doubt will be that foundation's legal consultant. The chances of that foundation being a success are doubtful if the public senses there's any association with Casey.

I wonder why Mr. Lippman is so compelled to be updating us on someone he does not represent and he has nothing to do with. Couldn't be him trying to get his name out there, right??

I still haven't figured out why the grandparents of a missing child had an attorney within the first month of Caylee being gone......Of all of the cases of missing chidren, how often does this happen.....Attorney...refusal to take a lie detector test.....bizarre......
