Casey To Serve One Year Probation

Seems to me that since JB announced that FICA is back in Florida and she has been in contact with some members of her family that he himself is trying to stir the pot again. I remember when FICA was released on bail JB reported her to say she wanted to leave the jail with her head up and then it was later reported by FICA herself that she actually said get me the blank out of here! This tells me that much of what comes out of JB's mouth is PR. I don't believe anything this group has to say and there is nothing that any of them will say or do now..after the fact..that will ever change my impression of this family or their hired guns...JMO

I am having issues with my computer and can not open pdf files - can someone paraphrase the State's response to DT's re: probation order - please

..there were 2 responses today---one by the attorney general's office--and one by the state of florida.

..the assistant attorney general, wesley heidt, pretty much reiterates what judgeP said in his (denied) Order to cheney's 'emergency order to quash...'
..the AG asks that the Court of Appeal deny cheney's "writ" and affirm judgeP's Order that kc begin probation now.

.. (the last 15 pages of their response was an excerpt of the jan. 25/2010 check case hearing).

..the state , frankG, in his response, says they are adopting what the attorney general says too...

You aren't missing anything - the State just said yes, we agree with the AG's comments - which are very long, included the transcript of the original Strickland sentencing, and echoed Judge Perry's ruling in the recent hearing.

PattyG has just posted this in Todays News, which is being called the State's response, but is actually the AG's response. Not a pdf so hopefully you will be able to read it.

She's back in Fl. just got an alert from WFTV on my phone.

 :eek: They still sending out "alerts" on CFCA ? ?

I hope the next "alert" you get about CFCA is that she is back where she belongs ... :behindbar

I am betting that HHJBP's order will be upheld because it is precedent setting and a slippery slope.

However, I am betting that the DOC grant concessions to FCA such that she serves in another County and has such light supervision that it is a probation about nothing.

The Court's maintain their legal principles and FCA gets to skate based on security concerns because she is 'special'.

Hmmm - do you think so? I'm kind of thinking the DOC has gotten a bit of a spanking here and there may be some kind of suggestion of preferential treatment. I'd expect them to be a little hard line here as a result of their lack of judgement in handling this probation issue.

I, for one, am sick to death of Ms. Casey. At this point I don't care what happens to her. I wish she would just go away into obscurity.

However, I will be interested to see Cindy and George on Dr. Phil's show (September 21) and see what they have to say about "grand parent's rights". Whatever monies they would have been paid will go to a new charity which I totally agree with related to grandparents rights.

..they'll be on his season premiere september 12th-----i don't want you to miss it by 9 days....

Let's hope that happens and that someone is going to oversee that it does.

I'd agree but I don't see there being any monitoring or oversight, the DOC seem to be relatively automonous and, probably don't want to enter the vortex.

Why enter the vortex and get stuck in the middle of the Courts/Justice/Law versus Defense crying foul at every turn -- with the media covering every nuance. The DT will use this to keep the story alive.

FCA is toxic and cannot be remediated IMO. She is a sociopath who allegedly got away with murder.

Distance is good. The least path of resistance.

Agree but the DOC head was sounding a little mollified when she was speaking to HHJP and then tried to cover her tracks...I think she's in doo-doo because this "oversight" has received national coverage and nobody likes their little mistakes to be front page news. All supervisors have bosses that can reach down for the head smack. She made them look bad. So I agree she may not have wanted to voluntarily enter the vortex but got sucked in anyhow.

I didn't even hear if there were actual monthly visits except via a database check to see if she was still incarcerated. Very very shabby probation "supervision" to receive such a spectacular viewing. Nice department you're running there, Lady. So THIS is how the probation services are being run in Florida? Hope you aren't looking for a positive review this year.

Spiritual advisor probably means they bought her a bible she uses as a foot stool .

I suspect if she gets near a bible, it will burst into flames. Spiritual advisors my foot. They're more like more people she can tell her lying stories to and get some sympathy.

Yes ... I cannot see this 'therapy' or 'spiritualism' ever seeking the truth or setting FCA on the right path to be productive in society. No way.

This will all be about FCA, sympathy for FCA, image rehabilitation for FCA ... FCA will gain some public sympathy having found religion, learnt the error of her ways and, become a 'new' person -- it will all be PR though. Image makeover. IMO

I am sure FCA is being counselled because she was and is in her own personal h3ll ... admission of the truth and rehabilitation back into society? -- not so much.

Spiritual therapy? And we are supposed to believe that?

She is sucking down a six pack as we speak most likely.

LOL - yes, because overindulging is a "no-no " when you are on probation and have to work five days a week....:innocent:
