Casey's Body Language and Reactionary Comments#3

One thought, I know it goes against the grain with some folks here, but my impression about Casey's crying after she walked away from the podium, was that, as much as she was humiliated by it, she seemed relieved to finally be able to confront/address her wrongdoing with the checks and be able to apologize to her friend/acquaintance.
I've always wondered if she may possibly have been introduced to meth or some other drug (that we haven't heard about) during those "missing weeks". She was pretty thin at the time of her arrest, her skin didn't look great, and her expression was so vacant, as well as her behavior and apparent understanding of the fact that Caylee was missing, she just seemed not all there. The way she spoke to her family and Kristina on the phone in the first phone call after the arrest, sounded like someone who had been using drugs to me and who only cared about getting drugs. Her recollections and information she told LE sounded to me like someone who might have been on drugs during those weeks. Or, maybe just some mental illness issue rather than drugs, who knows.
I still wonder about the way her eyes jerk/tick back and forth. Talk about hard to do. It looks kind of like it could be nystagism or some kind of condition. I wouldn't think there had been any long term use of any hard drugs or she would have looked worse, and someone would have mentioned it, but in my mind I haven't yet ruled out the possibility that she had just recently been introduced to something. MOO, just makes me wonder.

I agree that Casey had just started using certain drugs.

"She mimicked everyone's drug/drink of choice"

Casey told George, she had explained things to Cindy & Cindy understood the need for money.

I think it was very painful for Casey to admit her fault with Amy.

Not only that Leila, I don't know how Cindy thinks LE can trample all over someone else's constitutional rights and march in everyone's (that crossed KC's path in those 31 days) house with K-9's and luminol, when there is NO evidence pointing to them having anything to do with Caylee's murder. No judge is going to sign off on search warrants otherwise! Again those entitlement issues raise their ugly head...

What never fails to amaze me is that she can think of every illogical reason in the world to say KC is innocent and every illogical reason why everyone else may be guilty. :banghead: ...I'm surprised her brain hasn't exploded by now..

Agreed! Cindy's (and George's) sense of entitlement is unreal. They cast blame on everyone but Casey, and would be perfectly happy if they could send an innocent person to prison to save their guilty daughter. And they wonder why the media spotlight is on them. :banghead:

In many jurisdictions, people who are arrested are tested for drugs, much like a BA done on a drunk suspected of a DUI. I Would think that if Casey was under the influence of a drug, it would have been detected in testing.

In that call home from jail on July 16th, Casey was very lucid, not like someone in need of a fix. She was just angry about the turn of events and that she was now in jail. I think her desperation to get TL's phone number was that she needed to talk to TL. She was in fear of losing him over this and intended to elaborate on the "nanny kidnapped Caylee" story to garner his sympathy

If there were any drugs in Casey's system at the time of her arrest, I think we would have heard about it by now.

KC did not say I am sorry for all the things I have put you though this year, the finger pointing as the possible nanny, the lying about moving in together, stealing the $400 vacation money, etc. In the end KC said, "I'm sorry about not being a good friend." So essentially what KC is saying is IT IS STILL ALL ABOUT ME!!!!! Now what I see is KC not finishing that sentence about being a good friend with "but if you hadn't left the darn checkbook in your car then I would not have had to use it"....so essentially, AH, it's still your fault. "Oh, and by-the-way AH, what took me so long to plead guilty....it took awhile for AL to talk me out of adding that last part." She's not sorry. We saw her do this to GA in the jailhouse video stating that she wanted to see him by himself because they had not been close because she knew her father was the weak link re: the smell from the trunk and would have to testify to the grand jury. I noticed that too! Obviously she wasn't taught respect at home, but I still can not believe that the attorneys didn't tell her that much! Maybe they ASSumed she knew better? Prolly better they assume nothing with KC..
I saw contempt and indignation in her eyes...especially when the State's attorney said she could be sentenced for a very longggggggg time.

Agreed. Remember, she also left Amy practically homeless. Fortunately she had true friends to take her in during her time of need.
I gagged when Lee insulted her during his SA depo. Stating she was into heroin, and how she didn't show her support for "the family". What are they, the mob? Hello! His sister stole a lot of money from her, led her to believe she'd have a home to live in, and was constantly lied to about Caylee's whereabouts while her poor corpse was rotting in the woods.

Support for the family, pleeeaase. I'm glad Amy didn't show up to the check fraud fiasco. And I'm glad she didn't waste her time supporting the A's and their nonsense. I wish Amy the best and hope she and the rest of the victims left in caseys disastrous path can move on after KC's convicted for Murder I, sentenced, and banished from society for the rest of her worthless days.

Not to mention Lee admitting Cindy took money from Casey's wallet when LE was at the house and shoved it into her own pocket saying something to the effect of "It's probably Amy's". And then she kept it for herself- not giving a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 about Amy and the money her daughter stole from her. After Amy was kind enough to bring Cindy to Casey.

Anyone who still questions why Casey is the way she is, is IMO blind and deaf.

Funny...I thought she believed it to be hers. LOL

You make an excellent point! IIRC, when Cindy picked Amy up and they were driving to TL's apartment, Amy told Cindy that Casey had stolen money from her. So Cindy knew that the money in Casey's wallet was likely some of Amy's stolen money.

The apple sure didn't fall far from the tree in this case!

Heartfelt apology---that's ridiculous, JB lives in the same fantasy world Casey does if he thinks the public believes her apology was sincere. Casey could have called or sent a letter to Amy a long time ago begging for her forgiveness. Apologizing in public in front of the judge in order to get a lighter sentence or invoke public sympathy is not a sincere apology. She did a heck of a lot more to Amy than steal money. Amy was a good friend to her and in return she got nothing but lies and betrayal. I'm not a psychiatrist but I have an idea Amy will have lasting affects from her association with Casey. I thought Casey's little speech was a slap in the face to Amy and minimized what she did to her. She used and abused Amy. She tried to stall the check fraud case until after the murder trial, leaving Amy in limbo for years. Casey couldn't care less about Amy or anyone else for that matter.

I agree with you 100%. KC has been acting all her life.

She actually had the audacity to tell Amy during the car ride, regarding Amy's stolen money, that "yeah honey, you're not getting that back". Well of course not, she had not one, but two anthony's that swiped that wad of cash from her. CA even told George, "this is probably Amy's money". Blah.

Bless Amy's heart. She is but a few years younger than me, and I know for me that is a good chunk of money, and without it I'd be living in a refrigerator box.

Ok...maybe we're mixing up stories. I'm pretty sure Amy didn't know yet about her account until after she got back from Tony's. But, Amy did tell Cindy about the missing trip money and Cindy told her she'd never see that money again.

Above bolded by me.

I think this is what infuriates people. Just moo.

For Cindy to think that KC had been gone for over a month and hearing that Amy had money missing would it not seem obvious that the money belonged to Amy. So Cindy took stolen money. But if Cindy believed the money was stolen from her, then I guess it was not KC's first offense. It just went unreported by her mother. Problem is JB states on national TV how unfair he feels SA is for charging her with 13 counts even though the judge has told him in court that the charges are reasonable and we all know for KC this is not the first time she has stolen money. In one case it was reported to the grandmother's bank but they did not file charges. Too bad they missed their opportunity. Her body language tells us if she were free tomorrow she'd be right back at it. JMO

Bold is mine.

ITA. I bet she can smell a "Casey" from a mile away now too!
