Casey's Body Language and Reactionary Comments#3

Don't know if anyone else caught this but at 25:56 in this video, KC says "He's such a ba*tard"

Her comment comes after JA's statement "...1 thing we do know is this, if we have gotten to this stage those same jurors have already decided that the face that Caylee saw in those final moments of her life was her mother's face"
That video only goes to 8:17....

I so agree with you. This phone call tells you everything you need to know about this family. It was before they knew they were being recorded so it is the ONLY time we heard them being themselves. Cindy being passive-aggressive, Lee getting irritated by KC going round and round, KC being rude, crude, selfish, mean, I could go on. It breaks my heart everytime I hear Kristina cry. Before she breaks down and says "if anything happens to Caylee I'll die" she simply says "Casey!" The way she says it is like she just can not believe all KC wants is to talk to Tony when her little girl is missing. KC's reaction to her friend crying about Caylee is the most cold-hearted, evil thing I have ever heard in my life.

[bold mine]

I am in total agreement with your statement. The very first time I heard the phone call, I said to myself "guilty as sin". KC has and always will be, a total jackass. Of course, you cannot apply any law to a feeling or instinct that you get about a defendant, but hearing the way she was permitted to talk to her family and get away with it, told me a great deal about the way they have always catered to their jackass of a daughter. The simpering way CA called her "sweetheart" indicated to me that they have always tried to diffuse KC's tantrums by kissing her butt. I think they have not been to visit KC because KC doesn't want them there. It's ALL THEIR FAULT that she is where she is to begin with. The fact that she always refuses to acknowledge them when she walks into the courtroom tells me that she wants them punished. She is too dim to realize that many, many potential jurors are watching her behavior. She is punishing GA and CA for what THEY did - rat her out to the cops.

I don't want her to get the death penalty. I want her to sit alone in a cell for as long as she lives with every day being exactly the same, with not a shred of hope. To me, that is a punishment befitting a cold, cruel unrepentant murderer. :twocents:

Wow, great article! She says many things that many of us have been saying about George and Cindy for a long time. They have so many tells in their body language that it's obvious to most people they are deceptive. That's why the public doesn't like them and they just don't get it.

Man did you ever phrase that right! :woohoo:

WHAT ???ONLY GUILTY OF NOT REPORTING A MISSING CHILD!

When Cindy says that there is no evidence that Casey had anything to do with Caylee’s death and that all Casey is guilty of is not reporting Caylee missing I had to listen to Cindy say that several times as I couldn’t believe what I was hearing from her false lips. WHAT???? Is she kidding!! ALL Casey is guilty of is not reporting her missing daughter in over a month?

Anyone who had a missing dog for over a day would report him missing and put signs up around the neighborhood. Not reporting a missing child is a crime in itself! This clearly shows how Cindy will come up with anything just to save Casey’s skin. But there is no way she will succeed as no one will buy it. With her shoulder shrugs and uhms and pauses and slow and deliberate speech patterns even she doesn’t buy it.

 How utterly preposterous...
The A's should do themselves a favor and stay off TV.

This article sparked another neuron fire
At the very beginning of the hearing someone was talking about having "tissues". Did we ever see KC get a 2nd tissue? I would have blown through 5 or 6 by the time JA finished. Maybe they supply super terrific industrial strength tissues in this courtroom and only one is needed. (OC efforts in going Green - perhaps?)

BeanE, iirc Casey does the wrist/rubbing, nervous habit when she is walking with Rob Dick, I think it's the one that they duck under "police tape"

Don't know whether or not this has been covered before but another thought would be that when KC thinks about what happened with her daughter she is reacting to it with the wrist rubbing. It is just such an odd reaction. Even odder was how fast she pulled her hand away from her wrist when she realized what she was doing. Possibly she has done this in front of her team and they have called her attention to it. This would also explain the quick withdrawal. It is interesting and we shall have to watch for it during her future hearings. JMO

BBM, you bring up an excellent point. I have watched and rewatched that particular part of the hearing and when she does that if you watch Andrea's eyes, she looks at Casey's wrist as she is grabbing it and then looks at Casey as she pulls her hand away quickly. Andrea noticed it just like we all did.

I had noticed that AL was already holding KC's arm when she went for her wrist, so maybe she didn't want AL touching her? IMO she wanted to fly out of that chair and attack JA.

Did anyone else notice how she she wipes her tears with her fingers and looks at each tear? WHO CARES what your tears or the tissue looks like?????
I liked watching her cry. I was thinking to myself: "Go ahead and cry for everything that you have done! Cry about how you neglected and hurt Caylee! Cry and feel awfull!!
Sorry, had to get this off my chest.

I just did a search of Bill O'Reilly's website and found the body language expert he often has on his program. It's Tonya Reiman. Here's her picture.

Sorry to be so slow getting back - I was thinking of Jo-Ellen Demetrius from OJ's team.

I have seen Tonya Reiman on several shows and she is very good. Wonder if you have to be blonde and beautiful to be a body language expert?? Just kidding.
