Casey's fantasies about Cindy giving her the house are really important

However in most every state (if not all) you do not lose your house in Bankruptcy. If their is a lien against it you just have to continue to pay the note after the bankruptcy. Also if their was a mortgage against it I seriously doubt any mortgage holder would agree to transfer the mortgage to Casey. She is only 22 unemployed and probably does not have a stellar credit history.

Didn't OJ move to Florida because in that state his house couldn't be seized?

Personally I dont understand why - IF she wanted to be rid of Caylee and her parents - Once she did whatever with Caylee - she didnt simply disappear to Puerto Rico or somewhere else and just continue on with her life - Im sure she could have found a sucker to support her - and could have created a new "Casey" new name - new look - new story ---- and left her parents thinking she just took off with her child never to be seen again ---- Since they have no rights to Caylee and Caseys an adult - not a lot they could do besides file a missing person ---- And since it took them 31 days to even call the police --- she could have been well established in her new life by then.......... JMHO

Has anyone thought of the theory of TL being a part of Plan A? Wasn't he desperate to get a new place too? Is my memory serving me right?

can't forget they were going to buy her a new car, per Tony report on Nancy Grace last night.

so I kinda think she might have stayed with Amy and Ricardo the night before - got up early - drove the car there - went grocery shopping (anyone know if a Winn Dixie or something is in that complex or close by?)

had a nagging feeling addy was wrong in my first post, so i checked and yeah, wrong amscot, but there's a target & winn-dixie close to the right one too -- they're ~2 miles north of Amscot on N Goldenrod, and I think there's another Winn-Dixie to the south. Another map link, if you want to see (A amscot, B target, C & D winn-dixies). I *think* A&M live on Hillside but I'm not sure -- if they do, it's like 5 miles away from the Amscot (2 blocks over, 5 blocks up and straight down Colonial)

sorry if this is O/T, but what always seemed strange to me about Scott Peterson's lies was that, if he didn't want a baby with Laci and was hoping for "infertility", then why in the world would he want to help Amber Frey raise HER kid? that part of it never added up to me. it would seem if he wanted to start his life over, it would be with someone childless who didn't want a serious relationship.

there's definitely more to the house lie...how long was she thinking she could keep that one going?

I know!!! I know!!!!! Laci's baby would have been his and he would have been financially responsible for Conner for at least 18 years (possibly 21 if Conner went to college). He had NO FINANCIAL ties to Amber's daughter. With Scott, it was ALL about money - the fancy country club membership just to golf when Modesto has many good golf courses in teh area. A friend and her husband moved out here just so that he could golf more often.. Scott is that superficial imo and it shows in everything he did. I do not think sthey could afford the life they were living - their credit was still OK, but they were maxed out financially. Laci had quit working, and though she didn't make a lot of money subbing, it was still money. Scott's US Division of Trade Corp was not doing well - he was at 25% of his quota in OCTOBER, he owed fines for failing to pay payroll taxes on time, he coudln't or wouldn't provide the medical insurance he told Olsen he would. TradeCorp's designer fertilizer wasn't selling in the rurral farm lands of the Central Valley. I'm not really sure that Scott EVER worked. Between the time he took off to go to the gym, play golf, gfo with Laci to the doctors, shop at Big 5, etc., I don't know when he worked. Also his frequent visits to Fresno.

I don't think Casey was planning on killing her parents. I think she was lying, because that is what she does. I'm sure she would have ended up telling Amy that the deal fell through and she wouldn't be getting the house after all. JMO

This is frustrating reading about Scott and Lacy Peterson on the Caylee forum.

We've all heard how Casey was telling people that she was being given the house because her parents were either moving to a condo or breaking up. Has anyone given any thought to Casey possibly having plans to make them go "missing" too? I've wondered this the whole time. It seems she had a definite timeline for when she would take possession of the house and Amy would move in.

My "hinky meter" went off during the Cindy interview when asked about the possibility of signing or selling the house to Casey. Cindy said something like, " I only said that once, because I couldn't afford the payments on it." That's a far cry from, "What is she outta her mind? I'd never!!" She did mention it. I think that Cindy and Casey are peas in a pod. Casey's apple didn't fall off a truck, it grew on a Cindy-tree! Cindy keeps up a charade with Casey that she certainly can't believe any more. She may have even fueled it with crazy ideas about houses and such. GA is rational and fed up with the 2 crazy females and their fantasy land, but he is keeping the peace. Or trying to.

Did anyone else notice Cindy's answer about the house situation and think it odd?

Interesting that you brought this up. I was wondering the same thing. If you notice in the text message transcripts, it kind of seems like TL (I think) was kind of pressuring Casey a little to "bring her fine a**" over. To which Casey replied something like "do you want me to bring the little snot head?" I think. They're also making comments about how "every 2 or 3 weeks" isn't working or is pathetic or something. I can't quote it, but it's something along those lines. I think one of the reasons Susan Smith did what she did was she thought her boyfriend would take her back if she didn't have kids. I'm starting to think this may be one of Casey's reasons also, among others.

I don't think she intended to kill CA & GA. I think the story about getting their house was just a story to make herself seem more important. She wanted to be on her own, and was embarrassed probably to say she lived with her parents when most of her friends were on their own. This was the quickest lie she could come up with as to why she was still at her parents house but would be on her own soon. It's all her parent's fault. Remember with Casey it's all about the blame game. Anything that she wants or fantasizes about that does not become a reality is someone else's fault. Her friends buy the load she is selling and Casey all of the sudden doesn't look like such a loser. That is until the house of cards comes crashing down.

I think all of these events may have been set in motion the night of the Memorial Day "Anything but Clothes" party. Remember Casey got upset when BS came to the party? Her texts showed they had a relationship previously that was hot and heavy. I think she saw him as her way out of her parents home. She was clearly fantasizing what a great life they would have together. I theorize that in March he had a talk with her and told her he just wasn't that into her. It looks to me like she kept texting him, holding onto hope that they would get back together. Then he turns up at the "Anything but Clothes" party with another girl, solid proof that their relationship is really over and a real slap in the face to her. Casey had a meltdown and told her friends she had a miscarriage with him. Her friends say she disappeared for an hour. Was there a confrontation? It seems to me that her life went into a tailspin after this night. This doesn't preclude the idea that she might have been planning on aquiring her parents home in a nefarious way, it just might be the inciting incident which was the beginnng of the end for her.

I don't think this was a text to TL, it was to AR (the cop that was fired that went to the academy with Jesse)....i don't have time to go back and check his interview transcript, but I believe it's there.

let's not forget how they will be both ''wrongly convicted'' proclaiming innocent until the end of days.

I see a small difference between them though....Scott is more ''aware'' of his situation, knew he had to play the grieving husband and father. He even put Lacy's pictures on his cell wall. I am not sure Casey is willing to even play that grieving part and place photos of the child in her cell.

Maybe not, but she IS wearing the "official Where Is Caylee?" t-shirt with her photo emblazoned across her chest...at least for public consumption.:furious:

Tony has already said in his statement that the food items were not from a store, but from her HOUSE...hmmm....

Well, that's because she's deleted most of them.

You're correct, Fandy. It was an instant message on the computer between Casey and the cop that was fired.
