The number Casey had programmed into her phone as Universal was actually ATT Collections!! :clap:

I don't doubt it .....KC said she would "lie, steal, & cheat"......but I think it was only to keep her phone connected.

This totally makes sense to me, given what we know about Casey. She truly does "live in the moment", unable to plan even 10 minutes ahead. She thinks it proves those people exist; "See? Here are their phone numbers, right here in my cell phone." Period. Like LE is really going to say "Oh, Ok Casey." and go away. (DUH). She lies to get herself out of a predicament for the moment, not giving any thought to what is going to happen when the next question comes down the pike.

Another example of this behavior is pulling up to Universal and saying "I lost my badge", then walking "purposefully" down the hallway. One minute at a time. Finally hit the wall and had to say "I was lying" since she couldn't find an empty desk to claim was hers.

Typical.

In one of the visits that lee had with Casey that NG showed recently, there was a conversation regarding the 2 phone numbers to Juliet and Jeff . I dont remember exactly what was said but something to the effect, that Casey asked Lee if he had those 2 numbers and he said yes. I don;t remember if he named them by name but I knew he was referring to Juliet and jeff. I think something was said about her friends that worked with her and if he had found those numbers or if he had called those numbers and he said yes. I remember thinking, How could he call those people if they were not real? This has been bugging me. So I guess he called them but got the wrong people. So once again, all this talking in code. WHo does Casey think she is an undercover agent? WHo talks like this? Or does this? Does anyone else remember hearing this on the video?

I saw that on NG too. I was disturbed by Lee's reply that he had called and verified those numbers, but he did not state who the "employees" were. While trying to follow Lee and Casey's code talk I could only assume it was them. But, of course, assumptions are not any good. Very puzzling.

Re-reading interviews. Neighbor Brittany S. interviewd on 7/24/08 tells LE that LA called her during morning of 7/16, then later that day called back and asked to speak to "Juliet". When Brittany said "No, it's me, Brittany, Lee" he got frustrated and said KC had given him incorrect numbers for people.

So as early as the morning of the 16th the family KNEW she was trying to pull a fast one on them.

Also, if Cindy snooped or called the number and recognize a neighbor, Casey could just say that she must have gotten the neighbors number mixed up with Jeff's or Juliette's when switching over to a new phone.

IMO Casey would have been angered that Cindy checked up and then Cindy would back down and believe then new story.

IN RG's interview he said she took money from JG to pay a phone bill years ago, she stole money from her Grandfather's assisted living account to pay a phone bill...and Amy's cash that mysteriously went missing was IMO probably also used to pay her phone bill.

I just don't think she's used to anyone really following up on her lies. She figured she could just hold the phone up and say, "See, they're real people. Here are their numbers in my phone. I'll call them to prove it. . . Gee nobody's answering." I think when Cindy said that whenever Casey lied she told the truth eventually, it meant that Cindy would just fall for another one of Casey's lame stunts, and Casey just thought that was how it goes everywhere. I also don't think it occurred to her that LE would be involved at any point. She's just not very smart.

The ironic part is, if Casey just knew when to shut up, she could have probably gotten away with a lot more. But luckily for LE, she just loves to hear herself talk! :dj: She has an answer in her back pocket for everything. This girl "knows" more about about these (imaginary) people than she knows about members of her own family. It's very telling.

Well, this weird logic must work on her mom, because CA was the one who came up with the gem that if Zanny had a dog then there must be a Zanny. Likewise, if Juliet is in KC's phone there must be a Juliet. :waitasec:

That's one of the very reasons that disgusts me about lee saying in his Morgan deposition that he still believes everything his sister told him.. when in reality he was frustrated that KC was lying to him and giving him bogus numbers. He admitted to Tony L, while secretly being recorded, that KC is a liar, and thinks she lies for the heck of it.

Are we just supposed to pretend the A's previous statements never happened? Do they really think we're that stupid, having the memory of a goldfish, and don't remember all the things they've said since July 16th?
