WElCOME Traveling! Truer words were never spoken!

Thanks, CCat. I've been trying to join this board for awhile and kept not being able to, but Chico was finally able to rescue me so I can jump in! :woohoo: I used to mod crime boards for years, but haven't been involved in them for awhile now...not glad to be back in this sort of crime 'community' for this reason, but am because as long as this sort of thing is going to happen, I appreciate the discussion and 'sleuthing' along the way with other great folks! :)

She saw it from the moment she picked up the phone and said "It smells as if there has been a dead body in the **** car."
It's all about "protect my daughter" she is all I have left." One other thing that has crossed my mind is that there may be a family secret that they are afraid that Casey will tell. I have no idea what it is, though.:waitasec:
I don't know about a family secret, but Casey's daily whereabouts for the last 18 mos when Caylee was allegedly with the "nanny" is apparently a big secret.

I just re-read one of the initial news articles about this case. The owner of the Fusian ultralounge, Bruce Lam, said that since June, Casey was at the club "almost every Friday night".

I wonder which Friday she missed?

let me preface this by saying i am not really religious.

but i am not sure, exactly, maybe one of you can tell me, where in the bible it says taunting the lord with breast feeding and chanting in the rain that the sheriff's department sucks is the path to eternal truth.

ohhh wait a minute, i found it.

it's right after the chapter that says dead bodies turn into maggoty pizza and finally evolve into a crazy smelling squirrel-rodent. which is right before the story on how satan came to earth in the form of an invisible nannybitch, snatching children and self-respect throughout the holy land.

(that was a special video. this was like 1-800-rent-a-cult, we do birthday parties too!!)

I am thinking that if I was LE I would love to see Cindy sit in jail for awhile. How can you bring a child home when she is not missing? When she has been taking by a figment of someone's imagination? I stick with my two theories on Zanny the Nanny. She either got her name from the book about the Starbuck twins, and their nanny named Zanny. OR she used Xanax to knock the kid out one too many times.

Yes. The vigil video isn't much to go on, but it seems impersonal? Maybe there is a dark cloud hanging over that home, possibly with the rest of the public thinking what we are all thinking, even their close friends and family.

Impersonal would be the word I was thinking...

I saw the video of the prayer vigil and was struck by how few people were there after the two church groups left and the Anthonys came out. Where are all their friends and neighbors? Where is the extended family? We know that Cindy's father is in an assisted living home, but I remember mention that Cindy's mother is alive and close by. She's Caylee's great-grandmother. Where are George and Cindy's brothers and sisters?

According to reports, the Anthonys have lived in that house and neighborhood since 1989. Where is everyone?

Oh no, the page is temporarily unavailable.

Oh...ok, I thought maybe my puter was acting up.

I can just imagine tho. Look who we are watching.

I watched it again. It doesn't appear to be edited. One thing I noticed the second time around is that the breastfeeding remarking lady is now titled neighbor Holly. Maybe she called and complained for not getting credit and they had to fix it. lol.

The one thing that irks me is it sounds like the chant began as bring Caylee home. They Cindy loudly changes it to OC police bring Caylee home. Everyone kinda stutters to catch up.

Yep Cindy definitly changes it. Noticed that too

Casey's words on the phone call with Christine the other day that others have highlighted struck me, as well. About is she telling the whole truth and Casey asks something about, "That I don't know where my daughter is? Yes" or however exactly it was phrased (I know what struck me was her being specific that THAT was what she was being completely truthful about ~ whether that's an inadvertent admission that might be the only truthful thing or not we obviously don't know)
If that poor baby wound up in a dumpster somewhere, Casey would technically be telling the truth in saying she doesn't know where her daughter is, sickening as that sounds.

Well, please do not think by my silence that I disagree with you. I have been told we should not discuss religion on the forum and I will abide by the rules, now that I am aware of them.:silenced::innocent:

It was raining?

WHOA. Diane I thought the same thing when I heard the way she said that to her friend on the tape!

I haven't seen anyone that remotely looks like extended family. I noticed that George is mostly alone with the flyers thing, though Cindy was there today as we have discussed.

There was one video of George handing out flyers and a woman identified as Casey's aunt was helping him. In that video George said that earlier a motorcyclist raced by and had shouted some unkind things.

Yes, I agree. These people seem to be the type of people that all the neighbors would rather avoid. They seem to be a "self-contained" unit. It's them against the world.

i didnt know either, and i'm sorry. i think there is a difference, though, between criticizing someone's religion (which i would never do) and analyzing a political stunt draped in religion as the anthony's have done tonight.

that is only my opinion and i truly mean no offense by it.

I wonder now if they have any friends at all and if there are so many deep family problems that they don't associate with each other. Sure looks as though Casey was trying to break free from them also.

Its not a rule to not discuss religion, but just prevents posts from getting out of control...

So no extended family that we can see. Cindy didn't call her brothers and tell them about Caylee missing, waiting on them to hear it on the news?

I would like to see or hear a recorded interview with them.

DisFUNKshunALL - is that a word?

it all depends on what kind of family you have. I know lots who have fam members they dont speak to on a regular basis. I am not close to either of my brothers. To be honest, if I were in this ordeal, I have friends who I feel like family that I would call. One brother, I wouldnt call at all.
yes, I guess we are dysfunctional but we dont get to pick out families.
It does sound like Cindy s close to her Mother and she goes and visits her Father at Nursing Home.
I dont know where Geoges family is. My husband is around same age and he had very little family left, just one brother who lives out of State.
What Im thinking is, Cindy gets th brunt of taking care of elderly parents and maybe her bro lives out of State and she might be resentful. I know people who are in same situation.
I am just surprised that people in orlando havent volunteered to do a massive search of the area to try and find Caylee:confused: its great that theyve put up myspace thing but doing an area search on area is better IMO.

I would like to say my views of how the family has handled this and how Casey is treated and allowed to interact with LE with her families support and their media encouragment is out of concern that Caylee really is alive. But the only way to bring that child home is to be forthright and to give everything you have to the investigators. The facts of the case will lead you to the child and any one involved, any attempt to control that flow or impede the information is putting something even if unknown ahead of the child. My beliefs of what happened do not affect my opinion that the behavior here in this case is not what we have seen in hundreds of cases. Nor does what I think change they way I believe all families should interact with LE when a child is missing.

Aside from someone else being involved (particularly in the possible doing something with her remains) I thought about the dumpster when she made that comment also. Water would be another place that could be true, as well :-(

Paranoid?......................paranoid?

Come sit with me in the corner and wait for auntie atti van to help us understand all this, esp zanny nanny.
