I do not think J-Me meant any harm in posting the MySpace link. He/she probably noticed that several people have been posting links to myspace accounts since this case started. If we are now going to complain to posters for posting links to Public message boards such as MySpace, then we should probably have the thread that SS started called "MySpace Links" removed since many of the accounts are for people that more than likely have nothing to do with this case.

When I started that...my intention was for the main players' pages to go up. To be honest, I haven't looked recently to see what has been added. Not saying that I haven't been remiss and done the same thing here! I most likely have. It is just that I really started to question today how far we are going into the other people and felt like it is too far.

Also noticed there is an error on the incident report: at the top it says 6/23-6/24....the narrative says 6/22-/6/24. Why can't anything be easy with this case?

I think this was only in a matter of 2 weeks. Cindy said she knew where Casey was for the last 2 weeks, quite possibly by credit card receipts. She said she had the receipts to prove Casey's whereabouts.

Not meant to be offensive, but they probably shouldnt have a PUBLIC myspace page if they are not interested in being searched or googled etc. If you put your life in public view you are fair game IMO. Not saying people should be IM'ing or emailing ANY of these people or anything like that. I only VIEW these pages forming my opinion of what could have happened and Casey's circle and who this Patrick character is..

I understand what you're saying, but some people that don't even put their myspace in full view have been dragged into this. For instance, Jesse Grund's is private, and he didn't bring any of this on himself, yet some here have speculated about his involvement. I don't think that just because someone has a public myspace you should be able to create rumors about them. Mine is public because I also have my artwork on there, and occasionally sell it from my myspace, as well as using it to list galleries I'm in, because those galleries also have myspaces...I don' t think that should gave anyone the right to speculate about me when there's no evidence I'm involved in a crime.

Just like I wouldn't think that I could look your number up and call you about this case if your name were familiar...or drive by your house and look for clues. It's just not that ethical...in my opinion, anyway.

I get what you're saying...I just think that people use "finding Caylee" to justify things like calling people gangsters, assuming that they're passing on secret codes, etc. Mike Walker isn't guilty of anything except being named Mike Walker...not very fair to him

Please don't think I'm picking apart your post. Just stating another viewpoint. I realize that we all feel differently about this It's okay with me.

So between 6/22/08 at 6pm (Sunday) and 6/24/08 at 10am (Tuesday), someone stole gas. Assuming this was Casey that did this... Again, she probably didn't act alone. But this may be the same time frame that she borrowed the shovel.

Still not sure why steal gas when she has credit cards, unless she stole the credit cards on the same day she stole the gas. This might explain why Cindy has tabs on her whereabouts for the last 2 weeks, which would be directly after this time, up until they go the car back and realized something is wrong.

Yes, we always come back to that timeline dont we?
However, the addition of stolen gas? Why steal gas vs. buy it and put in car?
a) she figured out her Mom was on to her with the cards.
b)You dont want the transaction of purchasing gas on the cards, or be seen on video buying it in an area where you dont what people to look.
c)Your going to torch the car and decide on a different story in the meantime.
d) You burn something else with the gas

No need to feel that way. It's human nature. We know something happened and we demand to know what. Now we're being shut out and the possible perp is getting special "closed doors" treatment.

Most of us can disprove her lies by common sense. I'm sure they all know that.

What bugs me even further is that Cindy was asked on more then one interview why Casey got the shovel from the neighbors and she said "we keep it lock" and when asked why she never once mentioned the gas has been stolen. She said "We keep it locked so Caylee won't go in there."
If she knew about George calling the police she is obstructing more justice by not mentioning that. It is very pertinent to the case.

I think that amount has to be wrong??? Who could run up that much in charges in 31 days without a major purchase of some sort.

It DOES seem excessive, and most credit card companies will call the card holder and inquires about purchases that are unusual or excessive. I'm sure George and Cindy don't usually put that much on their credit card in a month, and that is something that would flag their account. I'm just using the amount that's been reported here.

If Casey stole the gas it certainly wasn't because she ran out.. She had been using credit cards and charging madly ~ I'm sure she would just charge the gas as well. So why steal the gas cans? Is anyone else thinking that Casey may have wanted the cans of gas to burn evidence or even worse? Maybe, she knew her parents were away so she broke into the shed to get them rather than take the time to buy cans and then gas?? Maybe (although she doesn't seem so saavy) she realized people buy bleach etc when trying to dispose of bodies/evidence and are traced back to the crime.. maybe she figured why risk that and just steal (once again) from her parents?

I know its alot of speculation, but i can't imagine someone who's charging thousands of dollars to her parents credit cards and keeping their granddaughter from them would risk getting caught breaking into their shed for $50 worth of gas..

She didn't want to be on camera buying gas cans and gas. She used it to dispose of Caylee. She doesn't care that she is on camera putting gas INTO the car,.. but not gas cans. She knew eventually she would be facing LE. She didn't want herself on camera buy gas cans and gas. She wouldn't have any excuse of WHY she needed it that way. jmo

I have to agree that he is just doing his job. However, shouldn't he have done this in the beginning when both he and Cindy were running around on every national media show?! Maybe it is just me...but it seems like too little too late.

The worse something makes her look, the more he's going to struggle to keep it out of the media. And the one call I listened to made her sound baaaad.

We don't know when Casey went bonkers with GM's ccs. Cindy said that she had 2 weeks worth of cc receipts and I was under the impression it was the "last" two weeks Caylee/Casey were missing- which would mean the 1st 2 weeks of July. JMO

Quite possibly. I'm torn on that, I'm not yet buying that there is a ZG in the picture. But one thing is sticking out... the friend who suddenly has a new car, an Impala...
