I thought the attorney was going to go to the Florida Supreme Court to appeal the original bond amount?

That's why they want the new hearingm they have to have a ruling, instead of just being told that the heaing was denied. Essentially.

Casey Anthony's defense team is trying again Friday to reduce her $500,000 bond. A motion was delivered Friday morning to the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Daytona Beach.

Judges inside the court are reviewing the motion for a rehearing on the denial of a lower bail for Casey. It was a week ago the same court did not see enough evidence to overturn her bond.

The rehearing request isn't necessarily an unusual step. Sometimes the court will deny an appeal and then new information comes up and attorneys ask them to reconsider the case.

i saw someone questioning about identity theft. that's what i've been thinking for a few days. has someone got a theory on this? identity theft ring maybe? or is she doing this all alone?

btw how does one stay logged in? or do you just have to sign in over and over after being silent for a time?

I suggested identity theft on the last thread. I don't believe its a ring (at least with Casey) I believe it is convenience. That's why ask if Casey could have possibly been close to ZG's car to be able to see inside to a piece of mail with a name on it. Then after giving the name to the cops Casey takes them to the apartment that she saw ZG go in and look at thinking that she would currently be living there after 30 days of viewing the apartment. I believe that Casey victimized ZG just like she has so many other people that have crossed her path in life. I believe it was an opportuniyt for Casey and wrong place wrong time for ZG.

Before they went to break it was said Cindy requested a new bond hearing and now they are reporting that Casey's Attorneys (yup plural) are going to ask for a new bond hearing. I wonder if the attorneys told Casey today that there was a "training" exercise at that pond and Casey flipped, wants out just in case they find something?

That's my thought. At this point why does Casey even want out??? Does she think she will be able to do ANYTHING at all without being hounded by media and (DESERVINGLY) harrassed, threatened, and likely even assaulted if she were out???

I betcha Casey is going stir crazy and wants out. According to 6 news Orlando her attorney Jose Baez was visiting with her in jail until 11:30 pm last night. Then today she won't visit with her brother.
I don't think her bond will be reduced now that more lies have been uncovered that Ms. Casey has told.
It might even be increased.
Sounds like Ms.Casey is in a place she has never been before where she can't control the shots.

Now that formal charges have been filed, the defense has the right for a new bond hearing
