With Susan Smith I think it was because LE was grilling her. Why on earth LE isn't allowed to grill Casey just blows my mind. I don't think there should be a law like this. Anyone with nothing to hide would be BEGGING for LE to talk to them to help them. This family (minus bro.Lee) seem to be a little odd to me. Maybe like they feel guilty about something. Not anything about Caylee because I don't think they are involved but like some deep dark family secret or something..it's just weird.

A sociopath will generally deny any wrong

doing...or will assign blame elsewhere. Good question about Susan Smith. I wish I had the answer.

What is your opinion of for example, a mother having cyclothymic disorder and the next generation, her child, having full blown BPD? I was reading that this can be passed down in this order genetically from one generation to the next.

:waitasec: Take that biological vulnerability for bpd...throw in psychotraumatic stress...coupled with lots of dysfunctional family interactions.

:waitasec:This may be some what off the wall question/thought. Since Cindy said Casey had no past history of unstability aka mental health issue's, could Cindy have ever assisted her daughter in self medicating? It would not be the 1st time. In my opinion the relationship between these two, is like two peas in a pod. Just a thought nothing more.

PS- that's why I said what I did...she'll just keep us dancing!!

Unless for some odd reason she decides to become chatty. I don't think we'll ever hear what happened from her.

and how long before a bipolar~hypersexual pass is made at a prison guard and it is reported. My bet is in on this one!

Did ya not get that impression when we first saw that smirky, devious smile from day one of walking in handcuffs?

I dont know a lot about cell phones so can someone help here. I know this isnt very clear but look carefully at this phone and see if you know what kind of phone this is.
I have a date for this phone pic... Is this the missing phone?

What would you expect she would do if her family just all of a sudden quit visiting or taking her calls?

What would happen if they stopped the enabling cold turkey?

Casey would perceive it as a narcissirtc injury or in simple terms, emotional and physical abandonment.

If you're correct...then my bet is that she (and Cindy and lawyer) will be crying rape.:behindbar

Yup...enough pussyfooting around this crazy girl!! To h*ll with worrying how she'll respond. Trust me she'll keep us dancing forever.

Ever since this case became news, I've wondered what would have happened if Casey hadn't abandoned the car, which resulted in it being towed to an impound yard and her parents notified, which in turn allowed them to find Casey? How long would this situation been allowed to go on?

I wouldn't doubt this a bit. After all, Casey was bragging to her brother in a myspace comment that she and her mother had "officially taught Caylee how to take shots"...

Self medicating is a big possibility, but I don't believe they would have known exactly what they would be self medicating for.

Alcohol is one choice that we've seen.

Also, some speculate about drugs. There are street drugs that sell for $100/pill.

Absolutely!! I was thinking about that today when I heard her ever so demurely say "sir" to (obviously) one of the guards. She'll be playing them, too, shortly.

She was cornered. That is what, imhoo, will bring this case to a close with case~y (play on words...dang...I am having a blink~karma moment...which is all good btw)

So how do you corner someone like this without making them dig their heels in further?

Like Cindy said and they do tell on themselves. Casey always tells me the truth eventually. We need a decoder but she tells the truth. Casey knew that car would be found. 24/7 lit business lot. Come save me from myself mommy dearest. I shudder to think!

Indefinitely IMHO.

 That's just dumb isn't it? I was listening to that and thinking GET OUT! NO way did she just say that! lol

She's losing her charm.

She could write a very entertaining book entitled "A Million and One Lies I Told My Mom, and She Believed Every One."

Has she not realized yet that she is talking to investigators and not her mother? And she thinks she can outsmart the FBI?

So how do you corner someone like this without making them dig their heels in further?

From the view of one psychologist interviewed today, you don't corner these types. You let them talk about themselves because this is what is most important to them. If you corner them, back them against the wall, you'll be butting heads with them.

cyclothymia is a slower cycling form of bpd. It is a facet in the gem of bpd...and a different manifestation of the same genetic predisposition imhoo
