Hi, newbie here and I have to throw in my 2 cents. I wanted to believe Casey even though I guess that makes me really gullible. She seems scared, she seems like she knows who the baby is with and that if she keeps her mouth shut that will protect the baby. I thought the visit from Patrick did seem like a warning. I hope her baby is with some gang member's mother or something, didn't someone on this board have a dream about Caylee being with an older woman.
MOO was that she had been abused by someone and Caylee was getting older and something scared Casey that the same abuse would happen to Caylee so she got Caylee out of the situation. I thought Father's Day was significant because a lot of the time abuse is hereditary and as people have said before the family seems to be sitting on a deep secret, add in the comments from her friend on my space that the baby is her father's and the whole thing isn't so far out. I'm hoping she gave the baby to someone she could trust. My mom watches my kids and there was a while when I didn't want my kids around my sister's boyfriend and my mother wouldn't respect that and it was an incredibly difficult time, esp. because I did appreciate her help, so I can understand how Casey would feel if she stopped feeling her baby was safe around her family and how difficult that would be, especially if she knew they could take custody from her anytime and LE wouldn't help her at all.
I thought the reverse speech was really significant. I listened to a lot of it last summer and if you listen to Joran or OJ or Susan Smith or Scott Peterson they admit to what they did, the subconscious doesn't lie. I haven't seen a reverse speech that was wrong yet (except the McCann's say they did it in reverse speech but I think they did). For a liar like Casey to have consistent reverse speech is absolutely amazing imo. I forgot what else I was going to say and the forensics will probably come back and prove me wrong but I liked the poster's husbands CSI theory about the drugs, maybe that happened and she figured Caylee was better off with drug dealers and murderers than with a child molester. Anyway, this is a crazy case. I really want to believe Casey didn't kill her baby. JMO
