In regards to the house search. IIRC, and I would have to do some deep searching to back this up, LE did enter the house and do what they are allowed to do without a search warrant. I think it was the dogs that were not brought into the house.

"However, when Chanel 9 talked to Casey Anthony’s attorney, he said all of the talk about the letter is absurd. "

Absurd is an opinion. What may be absurd to him is logical to everyone else.

"He said the letter doesn’t exist "

Did he destroy it already?

"and he never asked for one in the first place."

I agree that he didn't. He would not want it because it opens up a can of ethical worms for him. It also might hang his client. But I, along with a million or so people, did hear the tape of Lee asking for the letter.

Casey told her dad that she wrote the letter and gave it to Mr. Baez. I guess the real question at this point is if dad is sure he wants to read it.

I agree. I don't think the attorney's comments necessarily mean that Casey did not give him a letter. In attorney speak, that's not what he said.

I concur, and it angers me that they don't put an end to this and concentrate on getting Casey to confess where she put Caylee- that is my issue here..

I think a combination of having a pretty good idea what went down and the fact their daughter could face the death penalty is their driving force right now. I think it's a bigger force than the fact they are in denial.

Wow, I was gone for a week and I cannot believe this is still going on!

From a legal standpoint -- would Baez HAVE to give LE a letter (IF she in fact wrote one)?

Let's say hypothetically Casey confessed... would Baez have to give it to LE? Or could he just keep the letter and pretend it doesn't exist?? I personally don't trust Baez or Casey!

Hmmm... :waitasec:

MOO was that she had been abused by someone and Caylee was getting older and something scared Casey that the same abuse would happen to Caylee so she got Caylee out of the situation. I thought Father's Day was significant because a lot of the time abuse is hereditary and as people have said before the family seems to be sitting on a deep secret, add in the comments from her friend on my space that the baby is her father's and the whole thing isn't so far out. I'm hoping she gave the baby to someone she could trust. My mom watches my kids and there was a while when I didn't want my kids around my sister's boyfriend and my mother wouldn't respect that and it was an incredibly difficult time, esp. because I did appreciate her help, so I can understand how Casey would feel if she stopped feeling her baby was safe around her family and how difficult that would be, especially if she knew they could take custody from her anytime and LE wouldn't help her at all.

I thought the reverse speech was really significant. I listened to a lot of it last summer and if you listen to Joran or OJ or Susan Smith or Scott Peterson they admit to what they did, the subconscious doesn't lie. I haven't seen a reverse speech that was wrong yet (except the McCann's say they did it in reverse speech but I think they did). For a liar like Casey to have consistent reverse speech is absolutely amazing imo. I forgot what else I was going to say and the forensics will probably come back and prove me wrong but I liked the poster's husbands CSI theory about the drugs, maybe that happened and she figured Caylee was better off with drug dealers and murderers than with a child molester. Anyway, this is a crazy case. I really want to believe Casey didn't kill her baby. JMO

This is an interesting theory...what if Caylee's father IS George? She might have given her away to save her from g'pa, and not want to tell what happened because she doesn't want her parents to know what she did with her.

There HAVE been women who have been willing to do jail time by not handing over a child to an abusive parent.

I realize this is a grandparent, not a parent, and all Casey would have to do is just turn George into LE, but maybe CAsey is just too embarrassed to tell anyone that George abused her. This would explain why she got so indignant on the phone when Cindy said she didn't know what Casey's involvement was.

I still think Casey accidently killed Caylee...but if she didn't, this is the only situation that makes sense to me.

I would love to know the convos and note comparing going behind the scenes with family and friends. Hindsight is 20/20. Are they having conversations about the day Casey was just plain acting weird? Did she spend an entire day or two under a blanket on someone's couch? Did her and Tony have a convo about how she smelled when he picked her up from Amsco? Did she say, oh yeah, I had a bad day and ran over a skunk? I wonder about these things and you can bet LE knows all of this.

" George Anthony said his daughter told him about a jailhouse letter she wrote.

"My daughter said, 'Dad, I've written some things and given it to Mr. Baez,'" he said. "That's all she said, and I said, 'OK.'" "

IMO IF she wrote a letter - I think the only "things" she wrote were a list of what she wants - like her blanket and pillow, makeup and nail polish (possibly to match her pink handcuffs), what take out her parents should bring on the next visit, etc. etc.

I agree that Casey needs to be "cracked" like a rotten egg - however, unfortunately, NO ONE can make this happen. Hopefully, if there aren't any answers forthcoming this week - she might crack on Caylee's birthday.

We all can only hope

I hear ya...Baez is sketchy. I don't have a legal background, but I do think any info. he gets from Casey is confidential and protected under atty.-client priviledge. It just doesn't seem right.

I know your right, maybe I need to realize the fact that this baby is out there where I think she is is just going to be a bigger issue for me and alot of us than it is for them

New Photos Found

Also, new photos showing Caylee as a baby in the arms of her mother were found Sunday.

The pictures show Anthony as a new mother in the hospital after giving birth and Caylee's first birthday party in August of 2006.

Another photo shows Caylee playing in the back yard with her mother.

They were all deleted soon after they were found. That is, unless someone here saved them.

"She is crying inside and broken hearted," George Anthony said. "She said, 'Dad, I want to be home for her birthday."

Me, me, me, me! SHE wants to be home for Caylee's birthday. What about wanting CAYLEE home for her own damn birthday!!! They seriously make me ill. :behindbar
