IMO Zenaida is Casey and Casey is Zenaida. If Casey is a sociopath, it is common for them to have alternate identities. :waitasec:

There is no way that there was a nanny for 1 1/2 -2 years that Cindy did not ever meet. No way I will believe that. Cindy controlled everything about that little girl and it is not possible that she let some stranger take care of her for all that time without meeting her. Also, as irresponsible as Casey seems, why would Cindy or George not have to ever once be called to pick Caylee up because Casey was too busy or late or unavailable? Thatmakes no logical sense to me as a mom.

My thoughts exactly

That makes more sense then, except you don't get registered mail on Sunday. And if that was the date, then why did they wait until Tuesday the 15th to pick it up? I need to go back to the court transcript I think to clear this in my own head.

I pointed that out before (sunday)13th but some people here acted like they could go to their post office on sunday,I want to know where they live.

Cindy would have AT LEAST had Zanaida the babysitter's phone number in the past 1 1/2 years.

Hey spooky mama! - I agree that the ZG name is a name she heard somewhere or from a person she met once. I do NOT believe that this name was in use for three years as Cindy claims, because her brother LEE nor Kristina even ever heard the name before - she always referred to the "NANNY" not "ZANNY" and I think George has convinced himself that he heard ZANNY and not NANNY.

Also - why would she have a nanny for three years while living with her mother? And why didn't Cindy show concern for her granddaughter and ever WANT to meet this nanny?

I honestly don't think that NANNY or Zanny was ever used by Casey, Caylee, Cindy, George, Lee or ANY of her friends! Her friends were the ones that baby sat for her when Cindy & George wouldn't or couldn't! They know this name has never ever been used in that fashion in that house! lies lies and more lies

The same reason that Cindy never met any of Casey's imaginary friends when she was a child. They dont exist outside of Caseys mind.

thanks for the welcomes by everyone. one other quick thing i've been mulling that i just think is sort of amusing, then I have GOT to get to work, as I've got about a dozen things that need to be done before quitting time...

does anyone else find it strange that in the Starbuck twins novels, which mention Zanny the Nanny, that both sets of twins communicate via "teleflashing?" (sending mental messages) I believe several threads back, someone had wondered if how exactly Casey knew that Caylee would be back by her b-day....and joked that she was communicating telepathically!

not saying that it means anything. i just thought that was quite the odd coincidence.

Casey probably uses the name Zenaida or Zanny. This fictitious person is Casey herself. IMHO:slap:

The way the media is acting is getting out of control IMO
Are they legally allowed to be all over peoples property?
I can see if they camped across the street, but jeez they are in everyone face.
George couldn't cut the grass if he wanted too, might run over someone.

I don't blame the officer who said it was a social call. I would have said get out of my space.
I would call the cops!

Has anything more been said since yesterday about someone reporting that Casey went by the name Zanny sometimes?

I don't remember hearing that at all. I could be wrong though.

you can go to your post office box on sunday...but the mailing center is not open.

I don't think there is a Zanny either unless it's Casey. The grandmother would have at least known her. How did the grandparent's think that Casey was earning money? Did they know that her job at Universal was over and if not why did she keep it from them? Where did she get money to things?

The Zanny the Nanny books were discussed a couple weeks back, and I also said that I thought Casey remembered these from books she read as a child and was incorporating some of it into her story. I researched the copyright and some of the books were copyrighted around the time Casey would have been an early tween.

Not that I'm the norm Grandma by any stretch of the imagination and lawdy knows I've made some grandma-type mistakes but what you said hits home with me.

I have 8 grandchildren and all live within 52 miles from my home.
At one time or another, for whatever reason I wasn't able to babysit while a parent was working, my grandchildren had a babysitter or caregiver.
You can bet my husband's next paycheck on it that I met every single one of those babysitters!
You can bet your life that we did background checks on each of them.
When my adult child was about to interview a new babysitter she/he would call me and ask me to come to their home and sit in on the interview.
I had/have landline numbers/cell phone numbers, addresses, next of kin information on babysitter and the real kicker, I took pictures with my digital camera of babysitter.
I know, I know, maybe a bit overboard but if your grandchildren are in the area and have a babysitter, how in the heck does a grandparent NOT come in contact with or have pertinent information on babysitter at one time or another?
*scratches head in wonderment*

I took a ride over there yesterday...I admit, I was curious as to EXACTLY where they lived....but the WHOLE street was full of news crew vehicles so I turned around...def did not want to get into the middle of that.

And why would broke Casey who never had money and stole from family and friends, pay for a nanny, when she had the free babysitting services of her parents?

And if indeed she was paying a nanny with what money??

There was never a nanny. Any available money Casey had will go to clothes, make-up and drinks at Fusian. Not a nanny when she had her parents to do it for free.

I have not seen this before, Thanks!

Wow, so Zenaida Gonzalez DID look at an apartment on 6-17.
