really good call on all of this, especially the coke or X suggestion. not that im proud to admit this, but some of my friends dabbled in recreational drugs during college - i wouldnt say that they were "addicted" to coke. but they did use it on weekends and at clubs, there would be a day or two crash, and then they would be fine. so this is viable....

Casey is quite open in her postings about alcohol, many reference to alcoholism in a humorous way, etc.... if she was into X or coke or meht I would think there would be reference to it somewhere. Discretion is not her strong suit.

WRONG!!!!!! The search warrant states that the detectives are still looking into it.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!!!!!!! Here is the link so you can read this yourself.

http://www.ocso.com/LinkClick.aspx?link=MediaRelations/08.07.08_SEARCHWARRANT.pdf&tabid=547&mid=1935

The reference to this is on the bottom of page 6.
People, let's keep our facts straight from speculation! And call people out when they are wrong so any misinformatin is not spread!!!!!!!!!
Actually, the arrest warrant confirms that an email at the bottom of an email chain that purports to have be forwarded from a Universal employee to Casey advising her when to report for an upcoming event was "sent" by someone who does not work at Universal, from an address that is not associated with Universal.

What's unclear in the arrest warrant is what is meant by the following comment - "As of this writing, I am currently trying to identify other email addresses listed and see if these people exist."

We don't know if the deputy is referring to other emails he received from Lee, or other email addresses in the chain that starts with the fake "Thomas Franck" email.

The significance lies in whether the entire chain of addresses in the Franck email is fake, implicating Casey, or if the email actually was authentically forwarded to her, exonerating Casey from blame for the initial faked email.

Know what I mean?

If the GPs simply picked one location every day, at least they'd be doing SOMETHING & I'm sure they would have no trouble getting concerned volunteers to join them.

To simply lash out that nobody ELSE is doing what you can be doing when it's YOUR grandchild who is missing is pretty rude & not very smart.

Truly, I think they are terrified that they might FIND Caylee's body (not that I can blame them for that for one second) & are frantic for someone else to find her so they can move on to the next stages.

I disagree, it would be ridiculous for Cindy and George to pick an area at random to search. What a waste of valuable time and resources that would be. George spends a good part of every day passing out flyers, from what I understand. I honestly can't think of anything more they can do at this point. As for Cindy lashing out, I can't blame her. The media doesn't seem to want to discuss Caylee - instead they're all into what lie Casey may or may not have told or what her facial expressions were in court. I'd start to get a bit peeved too if the topic of conversation seemed to center around my haircut or the color of my husband's eyebrows rather than on my missing grandchild.

Maybe he went into work late that day b/c that was an unusual situation that they needed to take care of asap?
And what job did he go to work doing? As far as I know, George didn't get his new job until the Monday before the first hearing.

me too! Lilac: do you know how to put someone on ignore? I cannot figure it out for the life of me because I have never had to do it.

Can you direct me on how?

thanks...
Sorry...I don't know how do find the ignore button either.

Attorneys will sometimes take high profile cases on for the exposure. Not sure the exposure is helping him in this case, but it may help his practice in the future. And then some of them are just attention 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and like to be in front of the camera for their ego instead of business reasons.

totally. and he has only been barred in since september 2005, so im sure the press attention was a welcome opportunity. at the same time, i am not sure if he had any business taking a case of this magnitude. personally, if i was offered it, i wouldnt. i have no experience for such a massive, complicated case. and i feel that i would be doing the client a disservice, against aba ethics regulations, if i took something like this on.

is it true that casey was referred to baez from another inmate? if so, i find that hilarious - who would hire an attorney, based on a sole recommendation, that represented a criminal matter where the client was sent to jail? i mean, wouldnt casey, ie the president of mensa, want someone that maybe kept their clients out of jail?!

Shannon and others - you need to watch what you post as truth and fact. In this search warrant, it doesn't even say that the e-mail was fake. It says it is invalid and doesn't exist. Big difference! It has been speculated on these boards that this e-mail was sent from someone legitamate and when Casey ended up in jail, they terminated the account. (This is one theory of the e-mail)

There is way too much misinformation on these boards!

and the other theory on this board is:
that she created a fake email with a fake domain at a specific place UNIVERSAL.

Universal never heard of the domain and TF was never an employee there so he could not be employing Casey for an event.

Unless there is a whole other Universal that Casey supposedly worked at it is easy to deduce that the email was fake and not deleted.

Theory's are just that and are not being stated as fact. You have a right to your opinion as do others.

I know what you mean - there has been much SPECULATION on this and a poster claimed it was fact, so I was trying to clear this up. I am just trying to make a point that people are stating speculation and theories as facts. If we all moniter ourselves in this area, and say IMO, or whatever when we post it will keep things straight. These boards are getting confusing!

I have a question could Casey or her family write a book about Caylee and make money off this poor child? I remember a law that was passed about making a profit off a crime if you are convicted of the crime such as writing a book or selling the story for a movie. Does anybody know the answer to this?

But we don't know whether he had another job until starting this one, and we don't know what his work schedule was. Maybe it wasn't a five-day week, or maybe he didn't work a Mon-Fri shift.

I know that Cindy said it was a new job but since he referenced it so clearly w/ regard to the last time he saw Caylee on 6/16 he would have had to have had the job before. Do you remember where you saw the info re: him getting a new job just before the hearing?

the only reason i would disagree is because its not criminal to publicly talk about booze - but, for example, my friends would never talk about any drugs they used on something like facebook, which we often used. youre 100% right about the lack of discretion; however, i just think there is a different "code" in terms of drug use.

that being said, casey is a moron in my opinion. so i hesitate giving her credit for anything that seems logical....

As far as I know, she would have to be tried and convicted before this would take effect. The grandparents could sell their story tho.

Depends on your state law, but most states prohibit one from profiting from their crime. So if convicted Casey couldn't, but GPs could.

Actually, he mentioned the new job during the hearing and how we know about it. His wife didn't know where he worked or what his job description was at the hearing. It was quite odd.

There has been no mention by anyone that I am aware of him working before then besides the 10 year stint as LE...other than from himself while discussing the 24th about Casey coming home.

I'm jumping ahead in my reading. Can't ever seem to get caught up!
A couple of questions:
Does anyone know if George had a full or part-time job?
How did he get to work, someone pick him up? Drive Cindy to work and pick her up everyday? Maybe Cindy had someone pick her up?
Casey would say she worked mostly at night, when her events would be held..... would make sense to me.
A third car is missing in that family.
