I don't get what is so magical about a birthday? Why does the family think some dangerous kidnapper would bring a child home for such a thing? If the motive is hoping that Casey will have some big change of heart and tell everything, they're probably going to be very disappointed. I think all the birthday talk and planning a party is so inappropriate and it's just awful to use in what they're trying to do. Whatever that is. This is the most bizarre thing I've ever followed in the news.

I don't think its magical. I just think it is going to be very hard that her birthday is tomorrow and she wont' be there. CASEY SAID SHE WOULD BE HOME BY HER BIRTHDAY! I think they were putting all their hope in Casey and when she refused Lee today, I think she was suppose to give them clues to where she was or who she was with so they could get her back. They think Casey is telling the truth,.. otherwise they have to believe that Casey killed her. I am having a hard time believing she killed her (though I know in my heart she probably did) so HOW do you expect them to believe it???? I feel bad for EVERYONE involved,.. everyone that is EXCEPT Casey!

Is anyone going to watch Nancy Grace tonight? I have stopped bacause the information lately seems to be things we've already discussed a day or two before. The headline on her website for tonight's show says "Results of DNA Tests?". I'm guessing this is just a sensationalized headline since the "?" is included in the title. I'm sure other news outlets would have reported results today if they were available. I sometimes watch when she has friends or the family on, but there is no mention of that listed for tonight.

I'm watching Nancy Grace with Jean Cazaras sitting in for NG. They've showed the cars pulled from the pond and George's outburst, as well as the latest phone call from Casey to Lee, asking him to call Jose Baez and have him come to see her tonight. That sounds like she wants to talk about something!

With Casey not being credible, and no one having seen Caylee since June 16th, the most logical place to begin the search is at the home of the grandparents, and fan out from there. The grandparent's home is the last time Caylee was seen by anyone other than Casey.

I think the biggest factor preventing a ground and water search is the grandparent's insistence that Caylee is kidnapped and alive, and a search of ground/water would be a body search.

The Anthony home has been searched many times. If LE had credible information to initiate a search, the wishes of the Anthony family wouldn't stop them.

I'm in Ohio, so excuse this ignorant, insensitive question. Anyone from Florida?

How much of a body would be left considering the gators? Especially a 3 year old?

I heard that Cindy told reporters after George went off on them this morning that they believe in the power of positive thinking. I have been thinking about that today and that would explain the fact of her saying constantly "she will be home for her birthday" and George saying "she is coming home"
I grew up with that book on the coffee table. The one by Normal Vincent Peale "The Power of Positive Thinking" there is a whole group of people that believe "what you say is what you get". I am not going to speak for it or against it. But now I understand them a little bit better.

I also was raised with the Norman Vincent Peale book and wondered if anyone else thought about it when Cindy said that. Like you I'm not speaking for or against it, but I know of some people who really follow it. I'm glad you caught that and commented on it!

Didn't they say the phone call was placed last Saturday?

I agree. Holding a birthday party for a deceased or missing child is beyond the pale. Totally inappropriate.

They don't want to give up hope....

That concept would be taken from the Darlie Routier book of common emotions.

I'm confused. Did she call Lee just to ask him to call her lawyer that she wanted to talk to? Why didn't she just call her lawyer?

This is actually fairly common in missing person cases.

I sure wish I knew if LE ever followed that lead and visited the house on Bella Vida. The one from my dream. I never heard from PattyG if they contacted her back or not. I know that FloridaBeachDog did a drive by on that and said there were a lot of new homes there, 12 red dumpsters, a pond, ect.

NG needs some new photos, they have been showing the same ones for a week. Alswo I think the stand in for NG just called them the "Alexander family".

I also had an on topic thought: I think the flurry of phonecalls was simply Casey trying to verify everyone's whereabouts prior to digging, so she did not get caught in the act. Flurry on 16th was the initial burial, 18th was the day she relocated her. She wanted tomake sure the folks were not on their way home, even though they may not be scheduled to be home anyway, people sometimes do things out of the ordinary and I really feel that was Casey just covering all the bases. She was paranoid they would come home while she was in the midst.

OH she just called her casey alexander! what a joke!!!!

Sub for NG said that Cindy volunteered to take a poly to show she'd heard of Zenaida for years

IIRC, gators will not eat anything that they did not kill.

Yep. Just when you think Casey can't get ANY more cruel... she teases her family with the promise that Caylee will be home by her birthday & then she turns around & refuses to even talk to Lee.... THREE TIMES.

If that doesn't make them realize she's playing sick games at their expense then they deserve whatever she dishes out to them from now on.

Yep, knowing that explains more about the Anthony's saying things that would seem impossible in the norm, but they feel will happen through positive affirmations. LOL
