after hearing the second 911 call, my view on cindy has changed. there's some serious heartbreak and panic in that voice, imo, and i feel sorrier for her right now than i ever have.

listening to casey though!@$%%#@)#!{ WTF. so calm, so cool, so collected, so detached!@! did you hear the part where she said something like "I received a call today... from a number that is now disconnected". And you can just tell she's lying, making it up on the spot and having no problems doing it. IMO. arrgh. :furious:

Did Cindy tell LE what date the car had been stolen? I mean, they come back from vaca or whatever, and their car is gone...they must have known Casey took it (although I had the impression she gave Casey the car). But she didn't report it stolen right then. If you come home from vacation and your car is gone, wouldn't you report it right away.

Maybe Cindy used the threat of reporting her "stealing" the car as leverage to get her to tell where Caylee was...but it didn't work and then she had to tell LE about Caylee too. She wasn't arrested for car theft so Cindy must have backed off from that???

Hope that makes sense...my head is spinning.

"There's something wrong. I found my daughter's car today and it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car"

What I find interesting is that Cindy called 911 about her car instead of about Caylee. This makes me sick. It makes me think she was once again using the police as a weapon to try and control Caysee, manipulate her to do what she wanted because she felt out of control and couldn't have her way.

The call should have been about Caylee first and foremost. This is so telling to me. Cindy is knee deep in my opinion.

I don't find this that strange. I recall Cindy stating during one of her many TV interviews that she called LE about Caylee because she couldn't get straight answers out of her daughter about where she was. It sounds like Cindy had Casey come over and then she confronted her about money and the car, and that during this (verbal) confrontation she kept trying to get an answer about Caylee's wherebouts - and couldn't get an answer that made sense.

I have experience with having a kid that lies and steals from family members, and for a parent it's very difficult to actually call LE and report that your child has committed a felony (not returning the car and who knows what else about credit cards). Cindy was probably in an emotional state and on top of it - she wasn't getting straight answers about her granddaughter.

We have to remember - she DID call LE and report Caylee missing. She may not want to believe that her daughter could harm Caylee and she's in denial BIG time, but she did do the right thing by calling LE.

Could someone tell us whats going on.

If you would ask Casey and Cindy, they could tell you. I have a very strong feeling they know exactly what happened.

In the second 911 call I feel for GM :( She sounds very upset. I think the first 911 call is to shake some sense into Casey,.. "well fine! You wont' tell me where Caylee is then I will call the police and report that you stole the car. And that I haven' seen Caylee in a month!"

I think Cindy knows but is in denial (first stage of grieving) until they find Caylee

I bet it's Lee that Cindy is relating the story to in the background.

I can't get the calls on the OS page to work either. I only heard the very calm one coming from Cindy after she got home (which would have to be the second one, but they touted as the first one on the other website.)

Cindy truly is upset, she's mortified when she talks about the smell in the car. No, I don't think she had anything to do with it, but she has been covering it up since.

WOW! I DO believe, now, that Grandma learned of Caylee's disappearance for the first time on the day that she made the 911 calls... and I DO NOT believe, as I did, that she may have had anything to do with Caylee's disappearance.... I believe that she is grasping right now for the only piece of Caylee that she has left....Casey.

Wow after listening to the 911 calls I do not think Cindy had anything at all to do with this.

Even though information that Cindy originally reported dont match with the 911 calls I don't think she harmed Caylee or had in part in it.

1st call Cindy reports that Casey had been missing for a month and she just now found her. The 1998 Pontiac was stolen.

2nd call Cindy is crying says missing 3 yr old, daughter just admitted that Caylee was taken by Zannie. They got the car back and it smells like a dead body had been in there. Cindy tells them she hasnt seen Caylee since June 7th. Casey talks to dispatch tells them she hasnt seen Caylee for 31 days, she has been looking on her own and using other resources dumb she knows. She gives the full name of Zenaida and spells it for the dispatcher.

This is not a true and/or accurate statement.

are you just trying to be disagreeable? my statement is absolutely true and completely accurate, it is not even remotely debatable. (but i dont doubt that you will try). do a little research and find out for yourself, i already have.

Weird that she would ask to have Casey arrested for car theft - by then she had the car back.
I find that very odd as well...not only did she have the car back by then, I was watching a very lenghty interview with GM by reporters on the street yesterday and she was trying her damnedest to explain away the hair being in the car. She said Lee was gifted that car when he was in high school, and then later the car was given to Casey....so she claims that of course Caylee's hair would be in there as would hair from the whole family would.
I'm thinking GM was trying to force Casey's hand to get info about Caylee's whereabouts by threatening to have her arrested for theft, with no result, she then reported the baby missing.

I agree, I don't think she had anything to do with Caylee's demise (whatever that may be) but she certainly is covering for her daughter. How much she is involved in the cover up is the question.

She knows she's lost Caylee and can't bear the thought of losiing her daughter to prison.

I will not be baited in to an argument - if you can direct us to anything to support your claim, we'd all be very interested in reading.

I think Cindy was doing all she could to make Casey tell her what happened to Caylee.

I think you could be right here, Cindy may have threatened Casey telling she was going to call the police and report the car and the money missing and have her arrested. And since Cindy followed through and the police were coming Casey knew she was going to be questioned about Caylee's disappearance and either she alone or together they came up with the kidnapping story.

No wonder the Brother doesn't seem too eager to talk he was there and he knows what happened in between phone calls...
