Did you not indicate to the members of the Orange County Sheriff's Office today that if your daughter did not get released from jail then you will no long cooperate with them?

No, I didn't say that.

Did you not go on national tv and say that you do not (Did i get that right?) believe that Casey could not tell police where caylee is because................. (FREAKING COMMERCIAL BREAK)!!!!!!!!
Something along the lines they won't cooperate with LE unless she is let out.

Also...did mom give the impression that Casey was kinda living with her all along?

Side note - interesting that Dad didn't really answer the question about what he does - started to and then said "Uh, I'm in the security field."

She is a liar...she said on national TV that Caylee's father was dead from a car accident. She seems quite comfortable with lying if you ask me.

by the way, do police stations actually close?

Maybe I'm too cynical, but if they let Casey out on bond, we will never know what happened to Caylee.

Why is G-ma trying to elicit sympathy for herself , i.e, I haven't slept, I only drink water, blah,blah... I DON"T CARE. She is impeding the investigation by her constant defense of her daughter.
How many of you, that are mothers, know in your heart you could look that child in the eye and get the truth in about 5 minutes ( talking about giving the *mom look") G-ma says her focus is on Caylee, yet she does nothing but interfere every chance she gets.
I hate to sound so nasty, but if Casey were my child, I would have her committed and injected with sodium pen. , even if I had to do it illegally.
I don't care what it takes to find this baby, what laws get broken...it's time to do something instead of letting something happen because the system runs so slow.
I especially think if they'll do anything...do a lie detector test first (on both GM and Casey).

Brother on the stand...

He looks really upset.

Says: casey and he know they can confide in each other and not obligated to share with anyone else.

Never seen her discipline caylee in any way other than what his parents have already stated.

He moved out of the home in January of 2006 for a job, with residence at this job.

He has maintained contact with family... he said by text messages or MYSPACE!

He goes over for dinner... (yeah, they are reading myspace)

I lost video for a few minutes

Who is this on the stand now? Casey's brother?

  • #347
stinking commercials

  • #348
Brother tried to keep mom from calling LE. Stalled them for 45 minutes.

My apologies if this is a repeat but what I see on the stand confirms my opinion....
This GM was/is/will always be a very controlling woman.
She probably (IMHO) controlled everything, everything single thing in and around her household.

She felt she could portray 'the perfect family life' if she kept control of everything that went on under her roof.
Nobody need know about any drug use, wayward adult children, or other family skeltons because GM was in control.

To everyone on the outside this was the almost perfect family, perfect jobs, perfect everything because GM controlled what information got out.
I'm sure the people she worked with thought she was controlling but had an almost perfect life.

But NOW! Here she is trying as hard as she can to keep control but little by little it's coming out that whatever went on under that roof was NOT so perfect.

She's angry. Not at her daughter but at 'the system' because 'they' are making all the little secrets come out.
This is why she is soooo darn rude to everyone...she's angry. Feels it's everyone else's fault that her perfect life if being shown the facade it was.

OK, just rambing and thinking out loud right now.
Yes, assigning blame elsewhere..

Yes, she (Cindy) never met him (Caylees father) and Casey showed her the obituary. I heard it and now I wonder what else she has lied about. Does she or her daughter know the truth. Seems like the brother is close to Casey.
It seems like he cares and he seems to think Casey will tell him things she will not tell anyone else.

IMO brother and father seem genuinely concerned about Caylee and what's going on. They seem truthful to me.

I still think mom knows something that hasn't come out yet. She's very angry and I don't know who at? LE is just doing their job and trying to bring home Caylee safe and sound.

I lost my video feed, grrrr

Hi I have been following with you guys from day one, just waiting for my account to be activated. This is unbelievable, did anyone else notice that Boaz asked Lee if he was called "when this all went down" I just found the wording strange like he is trying to keep the focus off of the fact that there is a child missing. Maybe I am nit picking, but I just found it odd.

Is GM serious about allowing Casey's friends watching her...now there's a reliable bunch.

  • #354
The men of this family seem so normal! It is such an odd contrast to the grandmother, imo. Since we have not heard from Casey...I can't say what she may be like at this point.

Are they going to call Casey to the stand?

Lee gave direct testimony on July 15, that casey indicated that she knew where caylee was and would take them there in the morning.

He pleaded with his sister and mom was outside where she couldn't hear them, casey told Lee that she hadn't seen her daughter in 31 days.

He was asked if he had contact with Casey during those 31 days and he said yes, briefly thru myspace.

(Now we know he deleted those messages!!! What is this family hiding???)

  • #356
Bro testifies that Casey said on the 16 that she had not seen Caylee in 31 DAYS.

  • #357
I don't think letting her out with solve anything. I think LE should do their investigation...if they believe it's a kidnapping, bring in FBI...but having this family involved in any "investigation" on their own will be counter productive IMO.

  • #358
So who did Jesse hear on the phone on the 24th.

  • #359
Brother - I am not frustrated with the investigation overall. If we don't hear that leads are being followed up on as we think they should be, we can get frustrated. But I think they have been doing what they can since they can't talk to Casey. Anyone who says there is a rift between us and LE, that would not be true. Police asked my parents last night if I'd ever seen violence, if I'd seen any I would have brought it up last night.

Now, prosecution:

Casey indicated to me for 45 minutes that she did know where Caylee was (on the 15th) and she would take us there the next morning. I asked Casey when we were alone, she told me she had not seen her daughter in 31 days. She said 31 days. I had contact with Casey during that time, briefly through Myspace. Nothing out of the ordinary. During those 31 days she never indicated that her daughter was missing. Absolutely not, never had a reason to cross my mind.

When I spoke to my sister on 7/16 from jail, because Casey was very nasty to Cindy on the phone - that's what I took from it, I didn't hear it. Casey was abrasive with me as well.

Cursing you, telling you not to come to the bond hearing? No, that was not said.

She asked for Tony's phone number. She said she can't believe we don't believe her and she starting cursing. I have not been able to speak to Casey about Caylee since the 15th.

I then gave the phone to her friend (encouraged by my mother to hand the phone off, against my judgment).

End of questioning, end of defense witnesses.

Welcome to WS, Thisbliss and other new members!

It is odd wording, isn't it? Gosh, everything in this case is so strange! Hard to know what or who to believe! (Son sounds credible tho.)
