Detective talks about misunderstanding dates of Caylee missing. Going to the assisted living care facility because they have to sign in when they go to visit.

During conversation, Cindy tells investigators they didn't need to involve her father. SHe would not continue to cooperate.. OMG

Please elaborate on this part, I missed it and it sounds vital! Thank you in advance :blowkiss:

So with the phone call from Jesse (they didn't say his name), it puts her alive on June 24-25. The car (not confirmed by LE) was possibly left on June 27th or 3 days prior to when it was towed on June 30th per George. So it sounds they have narrowed the timeframe down to June 24th-27th now. HUGE discrepancy from both Cindy and Casey's stories!!

Did you catch that shot of Cindy rocking back and forth in her chair with her face in her hands? She is losing it, imo.

So Caylee is actually missing 25th 26th or 27th of June. Car was towed the 30th. Casey Called Jesse on the 27th and said Caylee was at a nanny for the weekend.

IMO

What assisted living care facility?

Poor Caylee, I'm just shaking:confused:

Commercial break... and I'm sick.

They got the car. They smelled the stench. They knew.

This is why they wanted to focus the attention of the media on Caylee, not Casey.

They were trying to cover for Casey and hope the worst feared isn't true.

OMG I'm sick...

I do not have any direct evidence at this time that Casey harmed Caylee.

Was at home when the call came in about Caylee missing - sometime around noon - got to house at 3:45. Talked to Casey in private. Began to directly ask her whereabouts of Caylee. She could have asked for a lawyer, but she wasn't a suspect. She took us to apartment complex near Glenwood. She did not ask for a lawyer. Then to Sawgrass Apts. She did not ask for a lawyer. Then went across street to townhome where she remembered dropping Caylee off - townhome belonging to ZG's mother. She did not ask for a lawyer.

(Editorial - why ask for a lawyer when she is lying the whole time?)

Oh, good, she didn't ask for an attorney at first so she's reliable.

I don't think sooooooooo

My apologies if this is a repeat but what I see on the stand confirms my opinion....
This GM was/is/will always be a very controlling woman.
She probably (IMHO) controlled everything, everything single thing in and around her household.

She felt she could portray 'the perfect family life' if she kept control of everything that went on under her roof.
Nobody need know about any drug use, wayward adult children, or other family skeltons because GM was in control.

To everyone on the outside this was the almost perfect family, perfect jobs, perfect everything because GM controlled what information got out.
I'm sure the people she worked with thought she was controlling but had an almost perfect life.

But NOW! Here she is trying as hard as she can to keep control but little by little it's coming out that whatever went on under that roof was NOT so perfect.

She's angry. Not at her daughter but at 'the system' because 'they' are making all the little secrets come out.
This is why she is soooo darn rude to everyone...she's angry. Feels it's everyone else's fault that her perfect life if being shown the facade it was.

OK, just rambing and thinking out loud right now.

Amity, wow, these personality traits remind me of Jackie Peterson, mother of Scott Peterson. Does anyone else think so?

When the camera panded to Cindy she had her face in her hands, I think she is just now realizing that Caylee is probably know longer with us.

Hmmmm, 6-15 is also the last day gma says he saw her. The same June 15th that gma didn't admit to until she was confronted by detectives last night. June 15th is also the date that the detectives were trying to confirm at senior center that gma said they didn't need to do.

Casey didn't need an attorney. She knows how to lie all by herself. ;)

JMHO

Did Cindy make statement about her continued cooperation? - Yes.

The date Caylee went missing came into question yesterday. I brought that to Cindy's attention because the date on the pix. I told her we needed to confirm, one way to confirm would be to contact asst. living facility her father is in. We need to confirm that was the last day. The intent was to get the father's name so we could go to asst. living facility to find out. I had someone call George to ask for the name, then Cindy came to my office.

She said - she is upset we are involving her father. He doesn't need to be involved in this. If I continue doing this she will not cooperate.

Last time anyone other than Casey saw the child alive - Cindy saw her on the 15th.

Another witness said on 6/24 he talked to Casey and heard Caylee in the background - heard Casey tell Caylee to get off the table. He remembers the date because he was on his way to resign his job.

Did investigation reveal when car was left at Amscott? - GA found out it had been there 3 days prior to 6/30, but we have no confirmation it was there on the 27th.

For those asking to elaborate in what I'd posted, Cate sums it up wonderfully. Thank you...

This is about the Great Grandfather of Caylee in a nursing home. Cindy claims they were there with Caylee on Father's Day. The sign-in sheet would prove it. Detectives wanted the information to go there and prove it, but instead, Cindy butted heads with them.

Besides the smell in the trunk the detective said there was hair belonging to caylee in the trunk. its funny how we all think the child is dead now. I hope and pray they can find the child and pin it on casey.

Please, please, please...tell me, what is the assisted living place having to do with this? I missed this, completely

  • #418
Would it have been helpful to have Casey take you around? Uh, we were already doing that on that day. But you haven't had the opportunity to go with her to these places? Not since her arrest, no. And the reason is because you arrested her? Correct.

Did not notify the media that evening that there was a missing child. Next morning? No. Later on in the afternoon.

Prior to last night you'd never asked family about abuse? No.

No toxicology or DNA results yet.

End of defense questions.

On June 15th, the video of Caylee was taken at the assisted living care facility where Cindy's father resides. The detective approached Cindy last night with evidence that the video was taken on that date which contradicted her story. He asked for the name of her father so they could verify the sign in sheet for that particular person to know if Cindy was in fact there with Caylee on that date. This is when he said Cindy said she would "take care of it on her own" and he did not need to involve her father. She also said if he did she would not cooperate further with LE. (This is exactly when they showed Cindy crying, face in hands, and rocking back and forth in her chair.)

In one of the early interviews, grandma said she was alerted by something in Casey's "tone of voice" and that she was "persistent and insistent" when trying to convince grandma to wait until the next morning to pick up Caylee.

Grandma threatened to call the cops, and Casey called her bluff. Supposedly it was after grandma made the call, while they were waiting for LE to arrive, that Casey admitted Caylee had been kidnapped.

It fits - she did the same thing with LE, carrying on the charade that she worked at Universal until she was actually walking down a hallway with them to her non-existent office.
last night on greta...gma stated that casey didn't say caylee had been kidnapped until LE was interviewing her. She did not say that to gma during the hour wait between gma's call to police and arrival of le. Last night on greta gma "clarified" this for greta.

suziq... maybe update timeline to read
24th which was a tuesday~ ex boyfriend calls and hears caylee in the background...hears casey yell at her to get off of a table. tells exbf that casey is going with a babysitter and she can go to the beach with him...
27th which was a friday~ the white car of gma is abandoned
