You know what slays me. This family acts like all families are like theirs and that it is normal for your daughter to lie all the time. And like it is normal for a 22 year old not to work but just sponge off the parents. Didn't the parents ever question where Casey got money to pay this babysitter all this time? They claim she watched the kid for a year and a half yet no one knew her address, where she lived, her phone # in case of an emergency? I think GM made up this whole babysitter story. Why does her monther find it normal that casey lives with her but up and goes for 3 or 4 days at a time? Where does she go and why? Why do the parents put up with this? What did casey do with the child when she left for 3, 4 5 days at a time? This whole family just seems clueless! I am just so angry.

I wonder if those bruises are consistent with abuse though? My son is the same age as Caylee (turned 3 today actually) and he's forever bumping his head, knees, tripping, running into things, etc. Now he is an extra clumsy little guy, but I wouldn't imagine a couple bruises on a 3 year old are anything out of the ordinary.

I agree with this as well,.. my 2 year old daughter has bruising up and down her legs from falling and climbing.

What are the criteria for activation? There are five criteria that have to be met before an Amber alert can be issued: 1) The child must be under 18 years of age. 2) There must be a clear indication of an abduction. 3) The law enforcement agency's investigation must conclude that the child's life is in danger. 4) There must be a detailed description of the child and/or abductor/vehicle to broadcast to the public (a photo of the child should be provided as soon as possible when available). 5) The activation must be recommended by the local law enforcement agency of jurisdiction.

I agree, the criteria wasn't there, imo. I don't mean to start an argument about it, but what was there to tell people so that they could help? The name of the babysitter, where she lived, and a description of Caylee..... that's all they would have had. As it turns out, the babysitter and her residence were false. Maybe giving a description of Caylee would have at least had people taking a second look at children they saw, but it's not much to go on.

That's what is said in the affidavit. I believe Anthony made the statement that she went to live with Amy.

It is the psychiatric diagnostic axis of the dsm Vr (and IVr) it does not include personality disorders (axis II) or other medical disorders (axis III) I bet gma is axis I and II and after this is all over III as well (for example, high blood pressure if she doesn't have it already)

now...please...correct me if you can see it another way... but WHY wouldn't that have jogged gma's memory on the last time she saw Caylee?

WHY IS SHE LYING??????????? It makes no sense! I seriously think she has some sort of axis one diagnosis!

I'm going to cut gma a little slack on this one, and say that maybe she did remember that it was Father's Day, but didn't know the date. If it were me, I would have said, "It was Father's Day. We took Caylee to see my father," but that's just me.

I'm going to cut gma a little slack on this one, and say that maybe she did remember that it was Father's Day, but didn't know the date. If it were me, I would have said, "It was Father's Day. We took Caylee to see my father," but that's just me.

I think we need to go back and watch that video again to look for marks or bruises! I wonder when the hairdresser came forward with the report and cell phone picture of her being bruised?? Either way, it is worth a closer look imhoo

Father's day was the June 15th. The detectives verified with the senior center that Caylee was their on June 15th. Gma only admitted to that after she was confronted last night.
