Caylee Anthony 2 years old #7: General Discussion

The only thing I got from the brother was.....Cindy is a good cook.

That goes back to their Sunday Funday they did weekly, according to their myspace comments back and forth. They also apparently did his laundry.

After reading those comments, I know more about these people's daily lives than I ever wanted to know.

Cindy needs to explain why all of sudden June 15th was the last day Casey lived in her house. She stated in court that no day after the 15th did Caylee or Casey stay at her house. Yet she spoke, or texted, or voicemailed with Casey everyday except for 2 days between June 15th and July 15th.

me too

Could Cindy of done it and burried her in the backyard? Then Casey go there to "take" her away from Cindy? Then Cindy is trying to point the blame to Casey. This is why Casey wants immunity. If she talks about what Cindy did.

This whole case is a mess and I feel that Caylee will never be found. If she is found it will be bad. :(

I can't think of any grandma who wouldnt be shaking her child violently to get the truth out.

Hey guys and gals! This is one of those cases that creeps under your skin and winds itself into the very marrow of your bones. I can't go ten minutes without dying to know what you guys are saying. I have been reading as often as possible (dang job gets in my way!!!), but I admit I have not been able to keep up on every thread. Great job to the usual posters here: SuziQ, Nursebeeme (Hey Becky!!!), SS, Imtheoneandonly, etc. and WELCOME to all of the wonderful new posters. :blowkiss: OK, so with all of that said, here is my 30,000 foot view of the situation:

1. Both GM and Casey have the exact same attitude. Watching all of the video that I have been able to see, they are nervous, they seem "desperate", but not in the way Mark Lunsford or Steve Groene were. There is a world of difference in the desperate attitudes of Mark and Steve from what I am seeing with Cindy and Casey. Both Cindy and Casey take big deep breaths in court today as if to say "Whew, I hope I can pull this off!".

2. Cindy made a statement along the lines of "Casey would never hurt her child". Maybe I am stretching it, but if I put myself in a desperate Grandmother's position in this situation, I would have said "Casey would never hurt Carlee". It seems impersonal to say "her child" as opposed to saying "Carlee". If my grandchild were missing, I would ALWAYS say her name!!!!

3. Someone is lying about the smell in the car. I work in health care. I know what a decomposing body smells like because I work in Pathology. It smells absolutely NOTHING like rotting trash - especially nothing like a bag of pizza. If Grandpa is ex-LE, he HAS to have known this!!!! This angle needs to be examined at a deeper level.

My personal theory at this point, is unfortunately that Carlee was killed and probably buried. The grandparents were not there when this happened. At some point, the situation changed so that the body had to be moved - thus the shovel, and thus the smell in the car. GM helped with the current line of BS we are hearing. They should have involved GP - being ex-LE he would have NEVER come up with something as stupid as what we are hearing from GM and Casey. From a psychology standpoint, I don't think anyone should be surprised that GM is supporting Casey in her lies.

I feel horrible for having said any of the above. I feel horrible for Carlee. I feel horrible that this whole case is in front of us. I truly hope that Carlee is found with some idiot that doesn't watch the news. I just slapped myself back into reality. This case is the worse case of lying I have seen since the Devon Epps case. His mother is now in jail for his murder.

Is Grandpa in Assisted Living or a Nursing Home? The Nursing home I worked at, no registry either/ they might have had to go there and ask Staff, etc. Cindy got so mad, all she had to do (probably) was tell LE I dont mind you going there to verify but please dont upset my Father.
Which is understandable. I dont understand Cindy.
If from todays testimony, it sounds bad for Caylee and she should try to
cooperate as much as possible now that its clear her daughter probably hurt Caylee. Why try and cover for Casey? I dont get, you'd think she
d be furious.

If I thought my daughter committed a crime, I'd get her the best lawyer I could, and I'd do everything I could to help her (legally). But no way would I help cover up the crime. Our job as parents, imo, is to teach our children that we love them unconditionally, but that there are consequences for wrong-doing.

Gotta "somewhat" defend gma again. Her dad is an old man. Maybe she didn't want him to know what is going on, didn't want him upset. I don't understand why she would object to them going and checking the visitors' registry. He wouldn't even have to know about that.

Hmmmm, I think a missing child trumps upsetting an old man.

Exactly. I feel like Cindy has already accepted that Caylee is dead and now all she cares about is saving Casey. IMO

I smiled when I saw this

Its Caylee not Carlee :)

If Caylee is dead, something worse than being left in a hot car happened, or cadaver dogs would have hit on the car seat also. So, hypothetically speaking, she died elsewhere and was put into the trunk to be taken somewhere. That's a given.

If there were this many problems between Casey and Cindy, maybe Casey was going to bury her in Cindy's back yard so Cindy can take the fall but the task was more than she could accomplish. At this point, they should be checking lakes and rivers near by.

But God help me, I could not imagine having to dig my own child's grave, much less carrying her around in my trunk.

I'm watching Nancy Grace to get highlights. Poor Caycee. She's obviously dead and 'buried' somewhere...now the challenge is to get the mother or grandmother to spill the details. I don't know if the grandmother is involved in the little girl's death, but she's involved NOW. I hope the book gets thrown at the lying mother and grandmother (and whoever else is involved).

Hopefully Eyes for Lies is able to analyze today's hearing in the next couple of days, I'm SO excited to see her review!

That was me, and yes, Tony said he'd only known her for about a month and that everything she's told him is a lie - he said that she told him Caylee's father had died in an accident.

You should talk to him again,.. and ask him if Casey ever called him from jail since she wanted his phone number. (Lee the brother said this on the stand)

I just heard on NG that according to Casey's attorney she is requesting ammunity if she tells LE everything she knows about the whereabouts of her little girl. WTF is that? She does know where her daughter is and she needs to tell LE now! She also needs to pay the exact same price for her actions that anyone else would. This is not a good situation.

You guys have been great! AS USUAL! I am going to bed now..it's almost 3am here in Germany & I didn't want to miss a thing but I don't think anything new is going to happen tonight so I have to bounce before I fall into a coma. I pray when I wake up I will read the news on here that they found this beautiful baby. (even though I highly doubt it)
