Something I find odd in this case is how all the child missing folks are missing. Usually the guy from America's Most Wanted gets involved and Mark whose daughter was killed by the pervert a couple of years ago (he lives right in Fl too) and the other guy from CA whose daughter was killed by another pervert (all their names are escaping me today. I am soooo tired!) and also TES the ones that search on horseback and other groups of people that get out and search inch by inch. No one seems to be gathering and helping this family. I find it odd.

I agree...I was talking about this to my husband early this morning too!
And out of curiosity I just searched AMW's database of missing children, and there's nothing on Caylee at all.

What day did George pick the car up? This looks important, because it shows where they had the car in their possession for X amount of days until they hunted Casey down on July 15th.

I'm not sure when George picked the car up from the impound yard, as I don't think that's been reported. But it has been reported (somewhere in all these threads) that the Anthonys received a letter about the impounded car, retrieved the car and that's what began the search for Casey and confronting her about Caylee's whereabouts.

It was initially stated that Cindy found a piece of paper with Casey's boyfriend's address on it, and that where they started their search. The boyfriend, Tony, told Cindy that Casey was staying with Amy.

I just went through some photos of the bond hearing,.. and you want to know something? I came across a pic with Cindy and George sitting listening to testimony,.. LEE WASN'T SITTING with them? Where was he? That is telling isnt' it??? You'd think you would sit with your family unless you have suspicions about them?

I think I mentioned last evening that he seemed like the only rational one of the bunch.

All day long I have had a feeling that one of them is going to crumble soon and it could very well be Lee that tells the truth!

Thanks absolut. That makes me so sad. :(

WHAT??? un~freaking~believable! They want us to find Caylee but they aren't in the donated search space working or passing out fliers????????????? Lee does seem like the only one with any sense, but I'm not 100% sure. He threw Casey under the bus pretty quickly yesterday when he said he "Pleaded" with her to produce Caylee.

It just keeps getting more and more confusing. I sure wish LE would have a press conference now that the FBI are involved.

Okay, need to go run up to a friends and get some tomaters. Will be back. I will try to speed read next time.

Have fun....everyone take a big swig of water and a deep breath.

Hi Everyone, I'm new to this board.

I apologize if this was already asked and answered but do we have any idea when the forensics on the car will be completed. Was it discussed on any of the shows covering this case.

Welcome to the board ! :) :)

Do we know who this is and do we know how this person was identified? If it was a videotape then LE might be getting close to dropping the hammer.

OME

I don't think the police have identified the person who picked Casey up from the parking lot where the car had been abandoned.

This was reported in the past two or three days. I would think LE would have learned who picked Casey up either through the video tape from surveillance cameras or a tip from a friend of Casey's.

I think that the orlando police department has to have a lot more then what they are sharing with the public.

This is one of the saddest cases we have had in a long, long time. All these narcissistic people too worried about covering up to even think of that poor child. I am glad that Florida executes murderers in this case for sure!

So if Casey picked up Amy from the airport on the July 15th, that's the same day the car was picked up and the same day Cindy went out and found Casey to bring her home for questioning.

I think they picked up the car on July 15th (that's how grandma found the piece of paper with Amy's phone number, no? Why her phone # was written down like that I don't know...)

and LE confiscated the car the following day, on July 16th.

Let me see if I can confirm.
Ok..now that always stuck in my mind. Hmmm...

Great observation! Wonder where he was??? I would like to have seen HIS reaction when the decomposition topic came up.

If not mistaken Lee was sitting behind in the blue shirt.

Does anyone have quick reference as to how long they said the car sat in the check cashing parking lot before being towed?

It appears to me that Casey was staying with Amy at that time and that she was using Amy for transportation from June 27th on when the car was abandoned. That would explain why Amy let her use her car and probably continue to stay at her apartment while she was on vacay.

My bet is Amy is the person who picked upCasey at the parking lot when
Casey ditched her car. I think that Amy has provided alot of info we aren't privy to yet....that is why when reporters were at Amy's door she said I am sorry but I cannot talk to you. The way she said it and kept repeating it made me think that LE had asked her to keep their conversations with her quiet.

Could Casey have grown so vengeful as to have killed Caylee not only to be rid of this mistake ( maybe Mom called Casey a constant screw up, it appears that she was, but who'se fault that was I don't know)..BUT
Casey realized if she was going to live the party life on her own , away from Mom and Dad, she couldn't handle the costs and responsiblities of Caylee. Therefore get rid of a few problems at once..demented, but I think that Casey is very gravely ill mentally.

Plus..if she was mad at her parents she knew hurting Caylee, which was easy, was going to bring them grave hurt too. Any grandparent here can attest to the special bond you have with your grandchildren..it is a miracle..and I can see that would be a way to attack back for Casey...I think she is truly sick..mentally ill..which makes me wonder why her Mom being a RG Nurse never took the bull by the horns and got her daughter treatment and help. Such a horrendous tug of war going on here between these two women.

and the same day she realized she'd been robbed??

Please remind me, was it the towing company that informed LE of the foul smell??? I believe that it was .... and that LE retrieved the garbage that Cindy and George had described and thrown out - and the detective said they were NOT the same smell.

Lee DOES seem detached from the family. I noted he didn't walk out with his parents after the hearing concluded.

I've wondered if, after hearing the testimony of the detective and the dog handler, Lee was so shocked that he just wanted to escape and think about all he had just heard. Lee may not know all the details.

Or maybe he does. remember Casey always told him everything when she couldn't talk to Cindy and dad.

Maybe he didn't leave with the family because he was suppose to be interviewed by LE ?

One of our posters here has already conducted the pizza experiment - pizza in the trunk of a car (not in use) for 36 hours in heat and humidity (Alabama). The pizza had the usual toppings, including sausage, cheese, olives, pepperoni, etc. It only produced a slight odor and dried up. :)
------------
I worked for a Funeral Director.Nick owned the Deli I work in.One day there was a horrible odor,Nick and I went scouring the place. We found a bag of rotting potatoes.Nick told me decomposing flesh has an odor all its own but rotting potatoes come the closest to it that he has ever smelled.I think we have all had that happen to us,a bad one in the bag.He and I used to discuss things about death often as he knew I liked trying to solve murders.
I think the mom did it and they are all trying to cover it up.They may never find the poor child..

Yes..so if Mom called Amy..Amy might have said I am in the process of kicking out your sorry excuse of a daughter come get her. And of course there is no Caylee there. I think something happened to Caylee a few days or the day before june 27 th when the car was in the parking lot.
