They are not real people Tom Mattson is the manager at Universal NOT Tom Manley and the only Jeff Hopkins the family knows came forward and said he only met Casey once and then GEORGE went on TV saying it was NOT the Jeff Hopkins CASEY was referring to, therefore the Jeff Hopkins she says she worked with at Kodak DOES NOT EXIST as per Kodak.

*The manager at Kodak was Mike Cozak he worked at kodak in 2005 and both he and human resources said they never employed a Jeff Hopkins nor Juliette Lewis.

Tom Manley does exist and he is associated with Kodak.

Juliette Lewis- actress. No one in Caseys world knows this Juliette Lewis, nor did she ever work for Universal as Casey claimed. Yet she supposedly along with Jeff, introduced her to ZG.

I've always thought that Casey just takes names and words she hears and uses them. She has her whole life to choose from -- Keyser Sosay only had one wall. The name ZFG could have been picked-up a zillion different ways -- but the bottom line is that all this doesn't matter. It's just self-frustrating to try to figure out how untruths were formed -- because in the end -- we only come away with -- untruths.

Sounds like Casey touches on "the truth" but is deathly allergic to "the whole truth & nothing but the truth." :crazy:

Imagine this brat on the witness stand.... she'd probably be struck dead with lightning while she's on the stand. What a show stopper that would be. lol

I agree. Also her list of fake people - Jeff Hopkins, Juliette Lewis, Thomas Francks, Tom Manly and Raquel Farrell all fake people and I bet she grabbed these names from something she heard or in the room at the time.

It has been said that Casey was a fan of the cop shows. It was also said by a poster that "Zaneida Gonzales" was an actress in one of these shows episodes...."Law & Order" (i think....i read it last week on the boards).

I disagree with this. Some people steal just to steal. A friend of my sister's came from a very affluent family. She stole constantly and she stole stuff she didn't even need. It was the THRILL to steal. The adrenaline rush. Everything she stole she could have boughten tenfold. And it was stupid things she wouldn't even need to use. She just stole because she could. I think Casey stole things because she could as well.
She could have had a job that was illegal or shady that WAS bringing in money but she ALSO chose to steal for the sheer thrill and adrenaline rush that she was getting addicted to. My sister's friends was EXACTLY like that. And then when she finally got caught red handed she blatinly lied to the authorities. This is just my opinion though,...

You are right he only had one wall....yet with Casey it was wherever she went and whatever she heard. Still the same premise.

I understand that, I was adding on to the comments that she picks items that she has some reference to in her life. She has met a Jeff Hopkins that worked at Universal in high school, that part is true and what she wraps her lie around. If you listen to the call she said she met Jeff, who works at Universal, through Kodak (her job).

I have no doubt that a TOM MANLEY does exist but she was not refering to the TOM MANLEY you are speaking of - please read below straight out of the arrest report:

While with Leonard, I called the defendant on my cell phone and my speaker phone on so all could hear. The defendant confirmed that she did currently work for universal as an event coordinator. She said her office extension was . lEonard said this was not a valid extension and even tried calling it. She said her direct supervisor was Tom (Manley). They have no Tom Manley employed there. The head of the events department is Tom Mattson. Leonard called hima nd confirmed they did not have the defendant listed as an employee, either past or present. I asked the defendant where her office was and she couldn't give me the bbuilding number or location.

I thought Jeff Hopkins was located and interviewed. I agree that there is a little truth in every lie that is told, I also believe in the simplest scenario. A vacant apartment, film/multi-media students, an unemployed mother, a missing little girl, people scrambling around the truth. Oops, foxnews just said new lead, Caylee's mother didn't go to work on the day she dropped her off with the baby sitter. I thought that was a given, one would have to have a job in order to go to work.

Where did the CC amount come from in this case? First I saw 45,000 now another poster says 40,000. I do recognize that amount from the Nancy Cooper case and wondered if that was some how brought into this one by mistake.

I have been trying to track this down, too. I can't find any real reference to it. I am actually wondering if the money wasn't taken from Cindy's parents. Another member is looking at back video to see if she can find it; I think this may be another example of Cindyspeak.

The only thing that I disagree with is that ZG could have been "picked up a million different ways" No way! ZG looked at an apartment at Sawgrass the very place Casey says she last left Caylee on the same EXACT day that she borrows the shovel? The odds of her picking that name out of thin air are slim to none. We all have a better chance at winning the lottery tonight than all of those things lining up as a coincidence.

In my gut, I know that we will eventually hear exactly how Casey obtained that information on ZG @ Sawgrass. I don't know how just yet but it will surface. She overheard it or saw it or something....which again brings us back to Keyser Soze. Too many of her lies fit that bill.
