I've been reading nearly everything on this here and on the news. I'm confused about a few things but my one question right now is why are they saying that Casey was last seen June 8 when there is video tape from June 15th of her?

If you take into consideration the common nature of the name -- it doesn't mean much. If you think that it is an unreal coincidence -- then I'd say Casey picked it up by looking at the card or overheard it. I once tried to track down a Steven Schwartz that had entered a building in New York. There were four in one day. But in the end -- all this doesn't matter -- because it's probably just a fabrication.

puff...I live in NYC too. There are 9 MILLION or so people on one island. The odds of you running into 4 Tom Schwarts in one building are not that weird.

The odds of ZG actually LOOKING at an apartment in that town AT sawgrass on the day of the shovel being borrowed are astronomical no matter how common the name.

She went to Colonial High and was a 1/2 credit short therefore didn't graduate.

There are vultures in that area....lots of them! I don't know what kind they area but I don't think they are turkey buzzards.

I've long thought she buried Caylee around Narcoossee or Boggy Creek road or weighted her and dumped her in lake Taho or Lake Nona...lots of access areas. This area had been planned for major development due to a Scripps Research Center being built. Lots of developers cleared land but then the housing crisis happened and development stopped leaving lots of thick brush with access roads. My husband worked in the area around the airport at Lake Nona....you could drive through the woods there with the access roads...you could almost drive into a swamp,.

THanks Puffster, I went back and corrected my post. My feeling is that something happened late June 15 or early June 16, especially since Clint returned on the 15th and he said from that time on Casey said Caylee was with gp's and their claims of seeing/hearing Caylee on 15th and 16th seem pretty shaky to me. I finally listened to the the first jailhouse call, the one that starts out "Gee mom, loved your cameo..." and am glad I did. Listening to it versus just reading it gives a stronger impression about Casey's lack of concern for Caylee. Especially when Casey says "All anyone cares about is Caylee" and listening to her insistance for Tony's #.

ETA: On July 16th Casey says Caylee has been missing 31 days, that backs it up to either June 15 or 16 for sure, but then when does Casey tell the truth.

I have lived in California almost all of my life. Lots of Latin Americans here, but I had never heard the name Zenaida until this case. Hard for me to imagine that it's that common.

Why? I would think she will only get love and support from those she worked with.

I don't believe so, but we do know that Casey's cell phone was pinging off cell towers in/around the wooded area near the airport this same day, so it appears she's setting up the babysitter lies the same day she's burying her child... (God, I've been hoping Caylee was still alive...)

I understand that, I was adding on to the comments that she picks items that she has some reference to in her life. She has met a Jeff Hopkins that worked at Universal in high school, that part is true and what she wraps her lie around. If you listen to the call she said she met Jeff, who works at Universal, through Kodak (her job).

I agree and noticed this from the get go of this case. Like Tony's roommate originally comes from Jacksonville and left to visit his parents there on father's day. So Casey told her parents she will be in Jacksonville for business and vacations.

Same here in NYC. I know and am around Tons of latin americans....i have never heard of the name Zenaida. Doesn't mean its not common. Maybe it is...Ive just never heard it.

In high profile cases like this......

Them media seems to be able to locate the SUSPECTS first grade teacher and ask all sorts of questions!

First one I would ask:

Was Casey a truthful child?

I believe she was incredulous that her mother was going against her because she is a little S***, I don't think it meant that Cindy was involved at that point.

Clint basically said Casey lived with Tony and him for the entire month of June and they stopped seeing Caylee after Fathers Day.

Clint lived with Casey for the month of June and then moved out July 1st.

She was arrested July 16th and her mother dragged her out of Tony's house.

Tony has all of the information regarding her demeanor and whereabouts until she was arrested with the exception of the couple of days that he was away when she was entertaining his friends.

a lot of WSers yesterday said that's why he's being so silent - he's going to be a star prosecution witness (willingly or unwillingly it appears...)
