I doubt the police are sitting back twiddling their thumbs. They are building a case, and not letting out what they have. Someone else said it earlier and it bears repeating. Law Enforcement is now Caylee's voice.

Yup and they will get her. They are not going to risk double jep. Its just a waiting game for Casey now. If they had any reason to believe that Caylee was alive they would be searching. They are just building their case SOLIDLY. Blink said before:

This is not a sprint; it's a marathon.

I have all of the confidence in the world that they will arrest Casey, Charge her, and CONVICT her.

All in due time.

It's all like a big bad joke on the public. Baez gave strict orders that Casey was not to be questioned. There was never any intent to get out on bail and help find Caylee!

I think Baez is trying to play both sides - one side to convince those future potential clients that he is a hard a$$ lawyer and then one side that wants to placate the public to try and soften their stance on the whole situation by letting them think that his ultimate goal is finding Caylee. JMO.

"In Character"- absolutely! You know what else supports your theory? The bag of pizza. There is a Papa John's pizza right next to the Amscot.

Side Note: I seemed to have missed the inside joke about referring to Tony as TonE - Could someone explain that one???

The Sawgrass dumpster makes more sense to me based on dates. Caylee last seen on the 16th, Sawgrass/ZG/shovel happens on the 17th, 18th is the back into the driveway. The car is not dumped until the 27th. Not to be graphic but if she was still dealing with Caylee's body 11 days later I don't think there would be one stain and a strand of hair in the car. The forensics would be very different. Also if she did the dumpster/amscot car abandoning thing there is nowhere for the car clean up, which is what I think she did on the 18th when she backed into the driveway.

I said nothing that resembles your statement, my statement was about what Baez said, please read what I wrote.
Sorry, my irritation isn't directed at you. I was talking to Baez.

If they have any "class", which I'm not so sure of any more, they also will fade into the woodwork. Having a nice home, good job, etc. does not mean you have class or morals.

I think back to Sharon Rocha writing a book called "Laci and Me" (something like that). All profits were given to charity. Now, that's class!

You are right, of course, but I don't see Garrison or the Padilla's a pathway to a charitable end for a book, movie or interviews.

Rich or poor has nothing to do with having class. imo

I guess that's what I'm so confused about. I've been trying my best to follow this case and all the threads but, I still don't understand how the bounty hunter intends to find Caylee if he isn't allowed to talk to Casey . Am I missing something

It could be that besides things being a little tense at the house, he didn't want his convo over-heard by the ppl in the house. Just a thought.

overheard by the people in the house and the people listening to the people in the house? lol

I bet that is why Baez says no discussing the case unless he is there, if the house is wired they could not use anything recorded while he is present

Yes, Sharon was the epitome of class, grace and GRIEF....what a lesson in opposites that case was; to see the Peterson's not give a whit to losing Laci and Conner, only concerned with denying that Scott was responsible, and poor Sharon and Ron, grieving and real, BUT with a dose of class...
Geez, sorry soooo O/T, this case of a missing 3 yr old is driving me batty!

From your post to God's ears. Can we please have some justice for this little child?

True, true. He was talking on his cell at the time. You are wise, Yoda.

After, and he really did look agitated, didn't he? I wonder if something specific upset him?
Maybe he is frustrated/angry that he has been instructed by JB NOT to even mention Caylee or question Casey as to her wherabouts....I know I would be sitting on top of my daughter and not letting her move until she came clean, no firggin' hot shower or pizza for you!! Fess up!

How long you figure George and Cindy are going to be able to do that? A few hours?

Just because Baez tells them something doesn't mean they have to go along. Sure Casey doens't have to answer, but it's not like Baez has any power over anyone (unless of course they are all working for the same goal, keeping Casey from being charged).

I agree, if they start talking without him present an LE is recording everything he would really look foolish when this all goes to court.

He was probably making hotel reservations so he can finalize the divorce he wanted a few years ago. JMO.

sorry, I needed to lighten things up a bit. LOL.

Frankly we are here to discuss. Not give things a rest because one doesn't agree.

However, if there is zero basis to lodge such an accusation, it is inappropriate, it is not about opinions same or different, it's that there is no basis to forming one in the first place.. Not on that topic.

He met this girl in jail, she got out today.. How much could anyone get out of that, on the "going to get my girl" I agree with Diane B- and I would venture to guess the backlash of such a comment is vast

Too late! They've already spewed enough absurdity and lies to fill volumes; all of which any prosecutor worth his salt would absolutely SHRED on the stand.

maybe the phone call and lee picking him up had to do with the people they think have caylee.

Good point, sleuthmommy.

Part of his job as a defense attorney is to defend his client and another part is to help their public image remain positive.

I think when he told the public that Casey would not be allowed to talk he removed the pressure from her and placed it on himself, albeit late in the game. First he lead us all to believe she needed to be out to assist in finding Caylee. Now that she is out, that's all changed. He's willing to look like the bad guy here to spare his client the public outrage, but it is a failed attempt. imo.

She had no intent of ever helping find Caylee because she will never implicate herself. Baez simply makes it easy for her to maintain that position. I think most of the public expected as much.
