maybe the phone call and lee picking him up had to do with the people they think have caylee.

Why? That person is already in the house....

However, if there is zero basis to lodge such an accusation, it is inappropriate, it is not about opinions same or different, it's that there is no basis to forming one in the first place.. Not on that topic.

He met this girl in jail, she got out today.. How much could anyone get out of that, on the "going to get my girl" I agree with Diane B- and I would venture to guess the backlash of such a comment is vast

We were speaking of Casey's body language. And there was more than one of us who saw it. I'm sorry you feel it is just an opinion that is inappropriate. We were observing casey's body language. An observation is an observation.

This may sound crazy but my first thought when I heard abou GA outside talking on his cell was that he was talking to his girlfriend. I know another woman has never been mentioned and I don't know why that popped in my head.

Too late! They've already spewed enough absurdity and lies to fill volumes; all of which any prosecutor worth his salt would absolutely SHRED on the stand.

I guess you're right, that ship has sailed......

LE recovered the car on Thursday, June 17th. There was a video late that night showing the car in a garage bay with two CSI in sterile suits going over the car. It was Friday, June 18th that LE said they were working with the FBI and the forensics taken from the car would be sent to their lab in Virginia.

Lets say the material didn't get sent until the following Monday and arrived in VA a couple days later. So, I'd work from June 21 - 23.

Thank you, Leila! But maybe you mean July, not June?

I was a lead in that volunteer search. We had over 500 people searching a 300 mile radius because he took Danielle to the beach, the desert, and mountains here in San Diego. He could have dumped her anywhere. Thank God he dumped her 100 feet from the road about 37 miles from her home and not in the desert. I agree, the public needs to start a full blown search. I'd fly there and run a team in a heatbeat.

Wasn't it ironic how in that case Westerfield was charged with murder and on the same day we found her? Danielle no doubt led us to her body. Caylee will do the same if they get out there and start searching.

I wasn't involved with the Van Dam case like I was others. And it's been awhile since I've read anything on it. But wasn't the only succesful part of the search due to the fact that there were some pretty specific clues that led searchers to the immediate area the body was in? The tow truck driver, witnesses, etc. And it wasn't so far after the fact like in this case.

I think over the years search organizations have gotten better and smarter and realize that random searches based on no info is fruitless.

And for everyone else wondering why TES and others like them aren't here. They have to be requested by family. And the Anthony's have made it clear if you help them, you pursue the kidnapping theory and look for a live Caylee. Any other type of help is not welcome. People at WS, who can personally hook them up with these organizations have had no response to their offers of help.

Good point, sleuthmommy.

Part of his job as a defense attorney is to defend his client and another part is to help their public image remain positive.

I think when he told the public that Casey would not be allowed to talk he removed the pressure from her and placed it on himself, albeit late in the game. First he lead us all to believe she needed to be out to assist in finding Caylee. Now that she is out, that's all changed. He's willing to look like the bad guy here to spare his client the public outrage, but it is a failed attempt. imo.

She had no intent of ever helping find Caylee because she will never implicate herself. Baez simply makes it easy for her to maintain that position. I think most of the public expected as much.
Public outrage is leveled at a lot of people. Mainly Casey for "losing" her child. Sheesh! Oh wait, she's not lost. The non existant baby sitter has Caylee. Geez, where have I been?

I guess that's what I'm so confused about. I've been trying my best to follow this case and all the threads but, I still don't understand how the bounty hunter intends to find Caylee if he isn't allowed to talk to Casey . Am I missing something

You are not missing anything, mahmoo.

The Padilla's received multi millions in free publicity for their series on National Geographic Channel, The Bounty Hunters.

They have lots of experience over the many many years and had to realize Baez (who they also met with before she was bonded out) and the subject of her talking to them would have come up. I don't see any sign of surprise on their part, do you?

Lets all do this and make a statement to Ms Anthony that it ISN'T ABOUT HER!!! ITS ABOUT CAYLEE!

Bumping this back up so it doesn't get lost.

Maybe he is frustrated/angry that he has been instructed by JB NOT to even mention Caylee or question Casey as to her wherabouts....I know I would be sitting on top of my daughter and not letting her move until she came clean, no firggin' hot shower or pizza for you!! Fess up!

I can't even begin to imagine the stress level in that house. How could you NOT talk about Caylee? Every second of every moment it should be the only topic up for discussion.

I read, I think, I try to understand, but I simply just don't get it.

her family doesn't think so...

It doesn't matter what they "think" ; you cant speak on the phone to imaginary people.....Oh wait its the Anthony's. I guess you can.

I saw the video of this and can't believe how rude Cindy was, yelling that she was turning the hose on the media. There wasn't a mob of media present, which surprised me, just two media trucks and a half-dozen reporters/cameramen.

They don't show you what's BEHIND them (the reporters). There's way more going on, more reporters/trucks etc. Still she did act crazy, I agree---the emotions are running high.

Maybe you are NORMAL?

I don't give a rat's azz what the attorney told me. I'd be on her like what on rice.

I'm getting riled up again. I will need a break soon.

How long you figure George and Cindy are going to be able to do that? A few hours?
I don't know about Cindy but I would think George would resent anyone telling him what he can speak to his own daughter about, especially when it comes to gaining some answers as to what really happened to his precious grandaughter. Cindy on the other hand is used to being maipulated and lead around by the nose by her daughter and now she has an attorney running defensive tackle for her....

You've been right here with the rest of us who find the whole thing a pathetic attempt to cover up the truth, evade the truth, and misdirect attention.

Outrage? Youbetcha! And rightfully so.

It's only so long the public will put up with being fooled.

Lee probably wanted to prevent George from taking a punch at someone. He has a temper...who knows it better than family. (He might have been on the phone with someone trying to sue DD over the pizza--sounds like them)

It says that was after her arrival. How far did he walk that Lee had to come and pick him up?????

  • #318
I don't for one second think Cindy can refrain for more than an hour. That woman likes to talk, and she likes to talk on her terms.

chances are since lee picked him up during or right after the phone call that it was probably lee he was talking with. they were probably discussing the people they think have caylee. that's what i'm saying. whether that person has caylee or not isn't the point. the point is THEY think that person does and have said they're watching them.

Giving Casey room to grow is one thing. Putting that child in the middle is another. I know, hind sight is 20-20. Have they been living on another planet? Do they not watch the news?

George is former LE for pete's sake.

In the middle of what?

Does anyone honestly think it would have been in their best interests to ANTAGONIZE Casey by threatening to take Caylee away?

IMO, if they tried that, she would have left with HER DAUGHTER & then they would have known without a DOUBT that Casey was not allowing them to speak to Caylee. That leaves them hoping Casey would back down OR going to court & fighting a nasty custody battle that they very well might lose.

Even though the mother is a 22 year old jerk & is going nowhere fast.... she's still the mother & they're STILL only the GPs in the eyes of the court.

I just can't blame them for not knowing HOW dangerous Casey would become.
