I asked my hubby about this, if it would be legal. He says if a crowd were to do that they would need a permit or risk getting arrested. I don't know if that's true or not but believe me, I would be there if it were to get organized. I only live 30 minutes away. Does anyone know if it can be done (legally) and who wants to do it?
AS your hubby if you could paint it on your vehicle windows and park it on their street?

AND A POST-NOTE:

Strangers have!! looked for the baby. Let's not forget that Cindy. That search group that found those items in the park that Cayse mentioned in her conversations with Lee! The items might have been irrelevant but those people took the time and went out to look for a baby they don't know, they never met, and they are not related to.

WHEN DID GEORGE, CINDY, OR LEE organized a search party to search all those areas Cayse was throwing left and right? When did the walked the parks and the areas Cayse mentioned? As far as I remember their preferred searched activities was for FUND searching, riding go-carts, and decorating with birthday balloons their yard.

The strangers weren't looking for Caylee they were looking for evidence and a body. Therefore they are not searching for Caylee.

Maybe the neighbors could have a "block party" and invite us all. Yeah that's it: The Where's Caylee Casey? block party. She likes theme parties.

Oh man, that would be awesome!!! I'll bring the wine and of course my "Casey knows where Caylee is" sign.

Me, too!! :furious:

I'd do it in a heartbeat. I'm an hour and a half away.

Let's harness this passion, and hook you guys up with jjordan, our WSer who has been on the ground grid-searching.

Heck I'd paint it on my car and just drive up and down, up and down, up and down.

ASK CASEY WHERE'S CAYLEE!!!????

Off topic a bit, Is Fay affecting you?
I am in South Georgia and it has been pouring all day!

It has been raining and windy for days. But I think that the last is blowing through finally. We all have severe cabin fever. One of my teenage sons is outside jumping in the puddles in the street and the other took the dog for a walk (that NEVER happens)!

Are you saying that Baez is a liar ... because he told the truth?

I'm not going to butt heads with you. I'm also not picking your posts apart like you appear to be doing with mine. I will advise you though, that I'm not going to be the most pleasant person to talk to right now if you keep trying to confront me.

I will give one explanation. I think... in my most humble opinion... that Baez is/has created a more intimate appearing relationship between he and "his girl" than he should have. He has created suspicion upon himself.

A more professional manner, again in my opinion in my professional field, anyone would be less suspicious if they referred to her as their client.

:furious:And.....Believe it or not I was in a franchise store here today and saw a Missing Persons poster for Caylee up on a bulletin board -- Just a reminder Im in MICHIGAN!

I wish I could remember who brought up the GP's guilt vs denial post a few hours ago.
(or was it yesterday?)

It was such a good comment!

Anyway... I truly think Casey has blamed her parents for all this...
they took it for awhile, felt guilty......

.... but now, like a hot potato, Cindy is trying to toss
the guilt/blame onto others!!!

I agree with the project the perfect family/blame others with the combination of guilt. Here is the thing. We met the Anthonys the last 2 months. But they existed before Caylee disappeared with all their personality traits, and dysfunctional relations.

Supporting their daughter might stem from guilt over what may have happened on the 15th BUT the way the NARRATIVE of this story has been changed by Cindy from ''Caylee is a neglectful mother who partied away while daughter was missing'' into ''the police and the press are against us, she is the best mother of the year sitting in jail sacrificing herself for the baby, this is a kidnapping'' story.

Follow how Cindy changes the narrative of reality to understand this is something she has been doing for many many years. This is her coping mechanism and of course she would put it into work in front of such a horrible scenario.

What is it that suggests that Baez wants an unfair trial? Or that Baez is acting in a way that is ethically inappropriate?
HIs statement that the truth would come out in his opening statement. That's not truth. He can say anything he wants in his statement as he is not under oath and it's not to be considered for the truth. The truth most definitely will NOT come out in his opening statement. If he has the truth, he needs to tell it now - not when he is in spin mode. He said everyone would be surprised. Just a spin doctor - like "Scott Peterson is stone-cold innocent"

This comment from Baez is standard lawyering. It's true that opening statements are not evidentiary but rather, introduce the case and give the jurors an overview of what to expect.

Under a very strict and unreasonably unforgiving interpretation, Baez's comment might be said to be technically incorrect. But I think it's a huge stretch to suggest that Baez is acting inappropriate based on that statement -- made within a context that doesn't call for preciseness. It's much more reasonable to infer that Baez is merely saying that his client is not guilty of the charges made against her.

Any locals know if they still have the tent at Publix or where the billboard is? I'm thinking they are both history, which IMHO says alot.

Also, any 'real' spokesperson in their right mind would not have let Cindy make that statement. Wouldn't it have been more prudent to thank the public for their interest at this time, thank everyone that has helped. Asked kindly that they allow the family to have some space and keep looking for Caylee? Shouldn't Garrison have suggested something like this?

I remember in some interview Cindy said that the babysittermight have loved Caylee so much that she wanted Caylee for herself. Hmmmmmmmm, anyone else know what I'm thinking right about now?

I live in TN, but I think I would make the drive down to FL just to get in on that! lol

Jose Baez is just doing "spin" lawyering.

Yes, he is. I just hope he doesn't get too caught up in the spin.

LE has leaked that one theory is that Caylee's disappearance could have been an accident.

The Sheriff himself said that if it was an accident, they need to bring that to LE (not a quote, but the spirit of what he said).

Mr. Baez needs to know when to deal. If he comes forward with his client and cries accident and tells where the body is, he can probably get a plea bargain for his client. He just keeps spinning.

I have a problem with him, and I'm a lawyer and I understand the system. What happens to Caylee between now and his opening statement in (at the soonest) November? He was asked about finally telling what happened to Caylee, who has her, so she could be found, since he said that would happen once his "girl" got out of jail. Well? Where's the urgency? What does this mean? Nothing will change, people can't be told, November will come, Caylee will still be gone . . . .and eventually we just won't notice she hasn't come back? I don't care what he argues or contends in court months down the road. The answer to a simple factual inquiry is not necessarily privileged. Where's Caylee? I resent that he seems to think the America public, who the family chastises for not finding Caylee, is a collection of gullible idiots.
