I have spent quite sometime reviewing your posts-not because I am stalking you, lol, but because I think you are well reasoned. The boards have been hijacked by emotion perhaps, and everyone feeds off one another but they are due a platform as well-I think Baez is a more than adequate defense attorney who is acting the way I would expect him to act...he is ensuring that the vortex around his client continue to swirl so that people do not focus on the task at hand. The search and recovery of Caylee Anthony.

Well, thanks. And I've read your Phillip Roth quote. I've read most of his books.

:applause::applause::applause:

Well... I did a quick spit bath, threw on a clean t-shirt, brushed my teeth, wrapped my hair up in a clip, ran to the grocery store, ran up and down the aisles, fell down, spilled my blueberries, spent $136.00, drove home, noticed my lawn-bushes-weeds are way overgrown, said wth to myself, unloaded the car, put away perishables, left the others on the porch, fed the animals, ran to the T.V. and computer .... all that in 40 minutes.

Did I miss anything?

WWYMD? He would call in SWAT, CARD, and every other available resource to go in and get Caylee without a doubt!! There is no way they would let her remain where she is if they knew she was anywhere alive. An army couldn't stop them from getting to her, imo.
LE have children too. They DO Care

That is a very good point Seriously. I'm thinking that LE (not local) have had these "people" under surveilance for some time. As for actually talking to them - no, not yet. Could be a very "sensitive" issue. They (LE) could have an "informant" that has come to them about it all. Or - could be that they already have her in a "safe house". We (the public) have no right to know that - not at this point. I don't believe there will be any prosecuting "them" for taking Caylee as I believe "they" have every right to her.

They (LE) are only interested in solving this case and any other cases that have arisen from this. They do not care about the sheeple going out voluntarily searching or the media frenzy this has turned in to. LE has not ASKED anyone to search - nor will they.

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

And I'll add that I do believe the NY journalist that "introduced" the BH to Baez was Geraldo. And I'll go even one more - THEY (JB, BH, GR) all know EVERYTHING!!!!

Did you just catch Rob Dick on NG say - its already in the works?

And what is IT??:confused:

O/T it is from a new book just being released-it summed up my feeling about this case somewhat...:rolleyes:

If this is the conversation I'm thinking of, I thought Casey was incredulously repeating what she had just seen her mother say on TV... (to her mom): you "don't know what my involvement in this is??!!" I took it as she couldn't believe her mother would doubt her. Did you not take it that way?
I sure didn't and don't. I took it to mean..."You should know, Mom! You were right there!" :waitasec:

OMG u fell down? lol is that when the blueberries spilled?

Nope. The blueberries spilled at the check-out and almost made the person behind me slip and fall!

So I see nothing on NG that we didn't already know! Or think we know.
Or think we read what we know. Or misread what we don't know anything about!

IMO this is not about FINDING this child - its about DEFENDING herself. The child is ok and she knows this and it has pissed her off.
Then WHY has she not told anyone where the child is????????????????????

That's exactly what I thought also....

Casey can't BELIEVE her mother would even question her nanny story!

She sure piled on the guilt, didn't she.... mom gets me arrested AND thinks I might be lying.....

no wonder she didn't want to talk to all the negative people & figured she'd rather chit chat with Tony. :rolleyes:

For the legal minds: Do you think that seeing as the 2 charges she is facing are really quite minor that they amount of time they are spending together "working on her defense" is overkill? (No I'm not implying anything romantic.)
The neglect is a class 3 level 6 felony (and I think they'll try to plead it down. The other charge is a misdeamore., no big deal.

All cases are different, all families are different, but in essence, if you strip out all the family dynamics, the characters, you see the same patterns.

Hans Reiser (software designer) killed his Russian wife and mother of his children. Proclaimed his innocence, said the wife run to Russia. (variation someone has Caylee and they might have even run out of the country) Hans Reiser said police were after him and where not pursuing other possibilities. (like Casey and the Anthonys who are talking about a kidnap case while all the evidence show that something else happened) Hans Reiser's father said the murdered wife had mafia connections and they are framing his son. (variation Casey is the mother of the year and she is willing to take the blame for someone else actions to keep the baby safe).

Well...well...well...Hans Reiser was found guilty for killing his wife. He played his chances and lost with the jury. He proclaimed his innocence until the moment the guilty verdict was out. And only AFTER the guilty verdict came back he showed to the police the location of his wife's body in exchange for the police to take off the table the death penalty.

THERE IS A KIDNAPPING FOR SURE: CASEY IS THE ONE HOLDING CAYLEE AS A HOSTAGE, AS A SHIELD. WITHHOLDING INFORMATION FOR THE SAFE RETURN OF CAYLEE - ALIVE OR DEAD. BECAUSE CAYLEE'S RETURN IS NOT BENEFICIAL FOR CASEY'S DEFENCE. Only the police can find Caylee now.

As she told her mother in that first phone call " We do not know what she was involved in.

I'm pretty sure it was "I don't know what your involment is sweetheart."

OHHH... I see. Okay... I can see how one would get that out of it too.

All of this posturing is nothing more then a defense to save Casey's AZZ.

Good post...

Personally I view the police as my freind. Luckily I've never had much contact with them but if I was in trouble or feared for my family's life they are the FIRST people I'd trust.
