I was willing to give the Anthony's and the Padilla's the benefit of the doubt when I learned Casey was going to get bonded out. Hoping beyond hope that Casey would come clean and lead LE to Caylee. I also thought that hanging with LP might break her. But nothing has worked out like LP said it would. He's not hanging with her 24/7, Baez said he's not to ask her anything and Casey isn't supposed to talk without him. This is such a fiasco at this point I wish she would have just stayed in jail. If she doesn't give viable info today, then I think Caylee is definitely gone and all hope I've had of her being safe just went down the drain.

I woke up this morning with such a "cup half full" "life is a bowl of cherries" "viewing the world through rose colored glasses" positive outlook - AND I DON"T KNOW WHY! But here's a "good" thought for the day throwing a positive spin on all this madness:

Think about ALL the people that have gotten so emotionally involved in this case - not just on here but all over the country. I can bet that these people (and I am certainly one of them) have all gotten together and hugged each other and told their children just how much they love them and said prayers thanking the Good Lord they have been blessed with such an honest and decent family. Lots of love being thrown around out there because of this.

And that's a good thing.

What a wonderful truth, Swag. It is so important to try and see the good things that come out of tragedies. It has been hard for me, with this case, however, I have done everything that you just stated above. Thank you for this post :blowkiss:

I may be way off base, and I hope someone with a better memory will correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Cindy track Amy down by finding her number on a resume that was in the car? So it is possible that either Cindy went to check the car out before George picked it up, or he did indeed pick it up on the 15th. So I think, but am not sure, that yes, Cindy was around the car on the 15th, thus noting the smell.

If I can find posts in the Pontiac thread to back this up, I'll be back with links for you.

I have found 3 different dates he picked it up, so far.

Another very telling thing, since she was then driving Amy's car WHY did she not take Caylee's car seat with her? She did not NEED the car seat anymore?

I think Rick's legit. Now it makes sense why Cindy flipped out on the lead detective when he wanted to go to the nursing home. Grandpa might have spilled the beans about his lying, thieving, conniving granddaughter!

Casey is as hot as a sidewalk in Florida in August right now. Anyone that comes out and speaks is fair game. With the threats being thrown around (and believe me they are serious, deadly, and very very scary) - no one is willing to put themself out there to become yet another player in this "pursuit of justice" game.

Agreed...I certainly wouldn't want my life turned upside down just to say Casey was promiscuos or the like. It's just not worth the headaches to these people and it wouldn't be to me either.

Swag, have all these threats been verified? , I have not seen anything on this. Altthough I cant;t say that I am surprised, I did think that maybe the family was exagerating. Have you seen these threats posted anywhere? TIA

I would like to see the number of arrests LE is going to make surrounding these threats. LP, TP and RD all said last night they are more into protecting the family than worrying about Casey fleeing. And that they are turning these threats over to LE to track down. Here's another positive thought - that is gonna get a lot lotta crazaazies off the street that would normally be walking amongst us!!!

This is better. As long as Casey is in jail, the only people who even look at her through the plexiglass are corrections employees. She doesn't have to do anything except sleep and avoid the world.


Now she has up close and personal facetime with her mom and dad and people who are there to do nothing but watch her, 24/7. Not to mention the ginormous honking RV parked at the curb with armed men who are there to make sure no one follows through on any of the many death threats against her and her family. Oh yeah, and the satellite trucks and news crews who have taken up residence and have cameras aimed at the front door.

DRAAMMMMA!

Everyone is patiently watching and waiting for Casey to do the inevitable - crack. No way will she be able to stand living in this pressure cooker for long.

I have alwys thought she didn't want to involve her father because he is an elderly man and she didn't want him to get pulled into and/or upset about this whole ordeal.
My mom is 83. If anything like this happened, I would try and protect her from it at all costs. It would just kill her.
At this point it would be pretty hard to keep the information from him, but I would have blocked the detectives from talking to my mom and upsetting her in a heartbeat.

NO - haven't seen any posted but c'mon you live in this weird mixed up world. Road rage, cannabalistic bus riders attacking strangers, political activists sending "mysterious white powder" to McCain, OH - THEY ARE OUT THERE!! I can only imagine some of the things that have been threatened and yes, I believe they are real.

According to Rob on Geraldo (and I believe Rob) there are substantial threats and he and the security crew are there for protection.

There are only so many cooking shows you can watch, People magazines you can read, furniture rearranging you can do.

Eventually everyone is going to be sitting around watching Casey do nothing, and waiting for her to say ...something.

It must be dawning on her by now that this situation isn't going to change. A day from now, a month from now, two months from now - everyone is going to be sitting around watching Casey do nothing, and waiting for her to say ...something.

It's not as if anyone is going to stop putting pressure on her to produce her daughter. Ever.

Don't forget to add " you can only be on myspace for so long,.." It still urks me that she was on myspace not even a full 24 hours after she has been home! I wonder what she thought about all the nasty and mean comments people sent her? I know that is the reason that they stopped updating it. They started having to approve the comments left after they saw people leaving nasty ones. I am sure they still got them but NO ONE saw them!
