It really makes me sick to think that even $1 of law enforcement money will be spent on protecting these people.

LE isn't paying a dime to protect the Anthony's. The BH and BB are shelling out all the money to protect the Anthony's.

Casey has to pay the correction facility $5.00 per day for the monitoring bracelet.

NO - haven't seen any posted but c'mon you live in this weird mixed up world. Road rage, cannabalistic bus riders attacking strangers, political activists sending "mysterious white powder" to McCain, OH - THEY ARE OUT THERE!! I can only imagine some of the things that have been threatened and yes, I believe they are real.

True true. I consider myself a pretty easygoing person, but, Lord knows the thoughts I have had concerning this family. I won't elaborate, but lets just say that it is a VERY good thing I live in SC and not Florida :crazy::crazy:

I have alwys thought she didn't want to involve her father because he is an elderly man and she didn't want him to get pulled into and/or upset about this whole ordeal.
My mom is 83. If anything like this happened, I would try and protect her from it at all costs. It would just kill her.
At this point it would be pretty hard to keep the information from him, but I would have blocked the detectives from talking to my mom and upsetting her in a heartbeat.

If your mom is a material witness or victim to a crime, there really wouldn't be any way to shield her from LE.

In this case, it sounds like Cindy's mom was all for prosecuting Casey for ripping her off.

I think what's so upsetting to Casey's grandparents is not knowing what their rotten granddaughter has done to Caylee.

This is better. As long as Casey is in jail, the only people who even look at her through the plexiglass are corrections employees. She doesn't have to do anything except sleep and avoid the world.


Now she has up close and personal facetime with her mom and dad and people who are there to do nothing but watch her, 24/7. Not to mention the ginormous honking RV parked at the curb with armed men who are there to make sure no one follows through on any of the many death threats against her and her family. Oh yeah, and the satellite trucks and news crews who have taken up residence and have cameras aimed at the front door.

DRAAMMMMA!

Everyone is patiently watching and waiting for Casey to do the inevitable - crack. No way will she be able to stand living in this pressure cooker for long.

You're right and while she was in jail, all she had to do was avoid the obvious with the help of her 'Knight in Shining Armour', as Fox News put it.

My mother lived to be 90 and lived with us. If my granddaughter were missing they could talk to her or anyone else if it would help find my granddaughter.

At 90, my mother was still as sharp as a tack, and most likely could have helped LE tremendously. I would think it would be much more upsetting to be reading it in the newspapers than have a trained detective to talk to her father. I think she was afraid of him telling about the thefts of money and checks.

Sorry . . . I didn't necessarily mean "protecting" like standing out in front of the house, but having to investigate threats and the like.

Swag, have all these threats been verified? , I have not seen anything on this. Altthough I cant;t say that I am surprised, I did think that maybe the family was exagerating. Have you seen these threats posted anywhere? TIA

I don't believe any of it about the "threats"........they claimed they were posted on their myspace and called to them personally. If that were true, LE would check that out and have protection for her. Do you see any law enforcement officers protecting that family? So, I say BS.

Diane, you make some wonderful points and I know you're correct in the assumption that Casey getting a front seat view of how her life will be forever changed and she can't just sweet talk her way out of this one and that her being there will cause major friction within that household. I'm just so pizzzzzzzed off. I've not felt this angry in ages. Thanks for reminding me of the benefits of her being home.

Where is this so called "trust fund"? What bank is handling it? Or are just putting it into their own checking account? Does anyone remember any articles about this?

I believe they are real also. I would not want to be the security people responsible. Not to mention, the possibility that Casey might take her own life. These guys are probably thinking now that they should have left her in jail.

Before Casey made bail, she blamed LE and Cindy for not being able to see or talk to her REAL friends.

I totally agree. Even though she may have been bored in jail (BIG WASTE), she was pretty much insulated from everyone's negative feelings about her. I really don't think Baez told her just how very much she is despised. This will all wear on her with time. Along with . . . no clubbing . . . no drinking . . . no tight clothes . . . etc.
