Caylee Anthony General Discussion Thread #121

Couple of thoughts: LP keeps telling the kidnapper to drop Caylle off at a "drug store" and we think that's crazy. Could it be a code for the idea that a drug-related incident is what Casey says is behind the kidnapper? (I mean, after the babysitter, of course...)

Second, do we know for a fact the Cindy/George was really related to HIS gambling habit or that perhaps it might have been related to missing money Casey took and they finally discovered the truth?

This happened a number of years ago in Ohio according to the reports by Cindy's brother. They had to file bankruptcy, lost their house, and also his job at that time. According to the news reports he left that job over 10 years ago, so she would only have been 12 or less at the time.

I do believe in my heart that George and Cindy are in denial that Casey willfully hurt Caylee but they know harm most likely came to Caylee due to Casey being irresponsible. I speak from personal experience. When I was in Cindy's position with my daughter and my granddaughter living in my home I had to put my foot down several times when my daughter had some hairbrained scheme, such as moving in with her girlfriend who owned two pitbulls. I said...NOT GONNA HAPPEN...PERIOD! Threatened to notify authorites if she insisted.WE survived many standoffs like that because I stood my ground and she realized I was older and wiser. My granddaughter is a happy and healthy 14 year old now but had my husband and I not shown tough love I hate to think how this story could have ended. It's hard to pick between your daughter and granddaughter except when the safety of the child is at issue, it should be a no brainer. Protect the child at all costs...even alienating your daughter.

LOL--so many commandments so little time.

Thou shall not STEAL
Thou shall not KILL
Thou shall honor thy mother and mother
Do not covet

Leonard--3 more days till you find caylee!

I have been lurking here for a while, and I must say, you are all very intelligent and have the ability to really get me thinking.

The stealing from the grandparents business really sends me over the edge. I have my grandparents, both 92, still with me. My grandmother has ahlzeimers. I would rather be homeless than to ASK them for a dime. It takes a special person to do what Casey supposedly did. It is for this reason that I have concluded that this was no accident. I do not believe that there is a "nanny", that Cayley was kidnapped or that she was sold. I believe that Casey has always been a theif, but meeting Tony set something off in her. I feel she had to keep up appearances with him, and needed more money to do so. (not that any of that was his fault) I also do not believe that George saw Casey on the 24th. I think he found the gas cans when the car was recovered. Casey has had 30+ days to sit in jail and come up with more lies. This girl will NEVER tell the truth, and would probably sell her parents and brother down the river to protect herself, IMO.

They left Ohio and the bankruptcy came because George had opened his own car lot and it failed miserably. The gambling didn't come in until they were down here. They moved to Fla in '89 - his gambling habit was supossedly ONLINE - no online in '89.

perfect :)

i was watching cindys face once after thier jail visit she looked like her heart was broken .. she looked SO sad .. i felt so bad for her .. i know she loves that baby so much ..

I still can't get over LP last night in a street interview basically saying that whoever Casey fell head over heels in love with had a hand in this. But then again, nothing in this case should surprise me anymore...........

I don't think any of the Anthony family were regular church go'ers . I believe they only got hooked up with this church because a group of them showed up at one of the prayer vigils .

Wonder what those people think of Cindy screaming out in her drive way " Turn the 🤬🤬🤬*ing hose on them "

If Casey does show her face there I think it's to try to salvage her image .

Where are Y'all getting those T-shirts ????? I want one lol

Steph: I am thinking the same thing you are about George not seeing her on the 24th. If he had just filed the police report, wouldn't he have contacted them that the cans were found?

Here's a question - What brought them to Orlando of all places? Why Orlando?

If we follow Casey logic (I know it's hard folks) and she's with someone safe. My question there is How on earth would you know??? You've been in jail for a month! Anything could have happened in a month's time. So that theory doesnt fly.

Unless of course she's back on the "I know where she is, but I'm afraid for her life and can't tell the police" lie. Again that doesn't fly either. As we all know the FBI and the police are the only ones qualified to bring that child 'safely' home.

And you have me thinking more along these lines....
It takes a special person to do what Casey supposedly did. It is for this reason that I have concluded that this was no accident. I do not believe that there is a "nanny", that Cayley was kidnapped or that she was sold. I believe that Casey has always been a theif, but meeting Tony set something off in her. But I think stealing the larger amounts started before she met Tony. I feel she had to keep up appearances with him, and needed more money to do so. (not that any of that was his fault) I also do not believe that George saw Casey on the 24th. I think he found the gas cans when the car was recovered. Good point Casey has had 30+ days to sit in jail and come up with more lies. This girl will NEVER tell the truth, and would probably sell her parents and brother down the river to protect herself, IMO.
.....I agree, and thank you for posting

Here's a question - What brought them to Orlando of all places? Why Orlando?
IMO Orlando in '89 was a booming place. Disney was growing and already HUGE and Universal was just starting. It was THE boom town of Florida back then. Prob thought job prospects were plentiful and the sunshine and such..... IDK - just my thoughts.

I still can't get over LP last night in a street interview basically saying that whoever Casey fell head over heels in love with had a hand in this. But then again, nothing in this case should surprise me anymore...........
you mean like casey knew caylee would get in the way of her relationship ? . or that he did something ? .. i still get a weird feeling that one guy with all of those partys .. i dont know why but i think he is involved in child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or someone that is .. i get the willies looking at him .. such a strong vibe about that ..

Steph: I am thinking the same thing you are about George not seeing her on the 24th. If he had just filed the police report, wouldn't he have contacted them that the cans were found?

Exactly. I think LE knows this too. Remember when they posted the gas can police report on their website well before any of us knew about the gas cans?
I think they knew it was all connected. I used to feel sorry for George-not anymore.
