I have to tell you, I have resisted getting involved with this case... but the more I learn about it the more interested and absolutely furious I become. As the mother of a 5 year old and a 2 year old, I cannot imagine ANYTHING in this world that would keep me from going to the ends of the earth to find them if one of them was missing. People would be begging me to stop going on TV, Radio, etc. and showing my face anywhere that I thought might help to find my child... yet, here we have Casey, who doesn't even seem upset??? Even if she knows that whoever supposedly has her child would never hurt them... wouldn't a "normal" person still be a little upset after not seeing/speaking with their child in 2 months???
Please excuse my ranting - this hits a little too close to home for me...

LE is allowed to lie.

Agreed... but also, I don't think they have yet given a definitive yes or no answer on the DNA question.

They can lie to a supsect, but having your PR guy lie to the media as a whole is not usually acceptable. Of course anyone can lie if they want to.

Yes, they are until they are in front of a Judge. Then that stops.

However, Nieves didn't lie. They have been running a missing child investigation under the assumtion she is alive...just not a very good one.

I have asked this many times if anyone knows- is AMY a NEW friend to Casey within the last month, or did they go to school together?

I thought I read that Amy was 18/19 years old......

But from her post of 7/15, it sure seems odd that someone called her *after* the last 911 call (9:30PM) with alot of details....

Yes remember "lying is not a crime."
Sorry, it was the perfect opening.

Morning....

....

Seems a little suspect that Amy knows all the details so soon....

I'm wondering if there wasn't more talk about Caylee while Cindy, Casey & Amy were in the car.

Dot

Early in this case, a news story reported that Casey told two people that Caylee was missing, before telling her family. The report didn't identify the two people, or indicate when they were supposedly told.

If you read his quotes (Nieves) I believe upthread and on medialink..
He, for the first time that I can recall, DOES NOT say they are not back, read the wording carefully.. Through the lines, that evidence is being reviewed by the GJ, imo

Amy is the friend of Casey's who's resume was left in the car when it was abandoned. When Casey's parents picked up the car from the impound, they called the number on the resume and asked Amy if she could help find Casey. Cindy picked up Amy and they went looking for Casey and found her at Tony's.

Thanks, I know all that info, I am trying to nail down the length of their friendship, whether Amy is related to Ricardo, and whether Casey ever dated Ricardo- through some sort of confirmed source if possible..

You mean 2 bogus people Juliet and Jeff
or Real people like Amy and the girl she texted on the 15th of July.

But Amy was moving out of there to move in with Casey?
BTW, what time was that post from Casey to Amy on the 15th about the better not see online or something... I'm getting a brain crunch like this should matter, bear with me
Not sure about the time on that one.

Amy seems pretty independent and maybe she wanted her own space without Ricardo. It isn't uncommon for an independent girl to stay with her BF a short time until she finds her own place then moves.

Im wondering how two women - neither who have a job - and a 3 year old afford to live in a home together? Whos paying the bills?

I've wondered before why Amy's resume was in Casey's car, and if/when Amy last rode in it. I'll bet Amy is chilled to the bone after all this. I'm so suspicious I even wonder about Casey's motives towards Amy and just why Amy was so out of it to be manipulated and convinced that she misplaced her money in her sleep. It wouldn't suprise me to see a credit card taken out in Amy's name.

Maybe Amy is the one who made the call....to confront Casey about wiping out her bank account.
