Saying that the grandparents are being co-operative may be a LE tactic to make Casey a little nervous, given what her parents must know about the situation, and certainly know about her.

It has to be tactics. You are on it Diane....

Ok, Sleuthers - doc set 2, page 31 on the incident report in the confidential section that describes Caylee, what does 'empty field' mean where is says 🤬🤬🤬 Transfer?

(I can't tell what the 🤬🤬🤬 letters are.

I really really need to compare the bond hearing testimony to the docs from yesterday. Because I am almost positive that George gave Yuri a bag of trash. But we know the tow guy threw it over the fence.

I'm trying to find the bond hearing transcript. Does anyone know where it is? TIA!

Could be that George went back to the Tow yard with Yuri and showed him where the bag was. Not a fact; but could be. Docs didn't state who gave it to them just that they had it.

You would have to discount the established fact that Cindy removed a dinner knife and pants from the car and washed both of them.

She also told Amy that they had to find casey or she might "go to jail" That is alot of information to discount. Cindy knew what was going on after they picked up that car and so did george.
I think they knew long before and why it was so imperative to find Casey at that point. They knew the tow company owner smelled the car! Gig was up!

Wow Shannon, I am starting to believe that initially these parents immediately assumed Casey had killed Caylee either by accident or on purpose and in a fit of shock they began to cover things up. I just don't understand her cleaning those pants and now a knife found in the car, that to me is very strange. This family seems to be the type that CARES MUCH ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE think OF THEM and would go to extremes to keep their daughter innocent in the eyes of the public and keep their family from being judged, rather than actually find out the truth and bring justice to their grand baby.

I bet they knew of times Caylee was left alone in that car, I bet that knife had some type of DNA on it. Saliva, maybe the baby didn't have a fork to eat with in the car.

YEA BABY!!! That right then and there would have been "My come to JESUS moment". Would have been shaking so bad calling that 911!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing how it seems it was all a nonchalant moment.

"Ok - dude thankx for your help. Just wish it hadn't been $425. !!!!!!!!!!! Oh and sorry 'bout the other half - you know how women get when they get upset?"

"No problem man. Gonna coast you about that much to get this thing cleaned out!"

I would have been running back to that Secretary with the cig and lighting up one myself - with very shaky hands waiting for LE to get there!!!!

you almost caused me to choke on my tuna sandwich lol. i know there is nothing funny about this but after reading 400 pages i needed that.

Have we confirmed whether the sunfire has a traditional trunk, or is a hatchback? The 98 sunfire came in both body types, no?

I don't have a link now, but I saw pictures of the car, or a representation of the car, and it had a regular trunk.
Anyone with a link handy, please?
Lanie

Nope - but they sure make a handy dandy lil screwdrive, plier, type tool in a pinch! I know I use them all the time for all kinds of things - lol

I thought the exact same thing. My kitchen knives get used as screwdrivers all the time.

I don't forsee Casey changing her story anytime soon. She convinced herself and everyone around her she had a job that she didn't have for two years. It looks like she even set up fake yahoo email address's with different names to email herself "job related" tasks and event times. She was really deep into that lie. Also if they found the Dora backpack in the car it is a bad sign. Wouldn't she have left her favorite baby doll and backpack with change of clothes with the nanny if she was going to be gone for the day, month extended vacation. She told so many different stories to different people.

Yes, that is possible.

I don't think Cindy had anything to do with it. I think IF George was involved with the disposal/coverup, it was on June 24th when he discovered the gas cans in the trunk. Perhaps that's when he planted the bag of trash in the trunk.

I'm sure you do swag! But you are not a pathological liar who's car smells like a dead body and you didn't wait 31 days to report your child missing.:blowkiss:

And do you keep one in your car for that purpose?!

Ok - you got me there. I have had one in my car - when I'm voing and stuff like that. I was just kinda implying maybe she had to USE ONE for some little task or chore? Part of the cover up - they pick locks real good as well - almost could be used maybe like a slim jim - if the lcok mechanism is close enough to the window weatherstripping. I do agree it is weird to have one in the car.

I think the same thing! LE, who by the way IMO has done a wonderful job, but within a couple of days they may have to lock her back up for her own protection from the GP!.....one can only hope...IMHO
I bet George and Cindy aren't reading the report. Their attorney is and will let them know what is going to come out of it. However, I bet Lee is!

Has this been mentioned yet? The link is a cached version.

This is a site I found Casey on with a list of other names that look familiar. It looks to be a photo hosting site. I find it interesting that there are links for Going Out, Parties, Vacations. It requires a membership and there aren't many members.

I followed the links and I don't know who Scott is but was interesting enough. I also found his myspace but not one mention of Casey or Caylee, nor any comments from her. This is the same type of partying crowd. Drinking and clubbing must be huge in Orlando.

Not sure about that, four years ago I got married in Jamaica, my husband and I didn't need a passport at that time. The very next year that law changed and my travel agent warned us ahead of time of it. Not sure what PR requires? My original thought had nothing to do with PR, but that she got the passport to get out of dodge.

I applied for and received a passport about a month ago for Ireland. I saw in the paperwork that no passport is required for Puerto Rico. Jamaica is another story.

Anyone see the article on cnn.com? she had wanted to put Caylee up for adoption before she was born!

Wish she would have, Caylee would be alive and happy now!!

Something else - WHY did George pull LE aside the night they first came and told them he didn't feel like Casey was being truthful - or something to that effect? He's es-LE was he trying to ram it home on Casey? So doubt wouldn't be shifted back to him with how he acted with the car and all? I thought that was strange.

I was so good for a few days but the only doc-review I'm doing is on Casey's criminal case!

Not sure if this has been discussed, but on page 294 (handwritten, pt 2) - the officer says Cindy noticed a "distinct" odor in the car which the officer smelled on some of the things Cindy handed over - including the soft-bodied doll of Caylees.

This was all done July 15th - the DAY Cindy found the car / called police. I think more than covering up, Cindy was so shocked after she called police the only thing she thought to do was clean - if she left the toys and backpack and car smelling bad, she might have just washed things thinking it wouldn't be a big deal. I know sometimes if I get nervous or something bad happens I'll scrub my bathroom to get my mind off of it, almost instinctively. Just to physically do something. JMO

These people all seem swindled! I can't believe after THIS Casey really just went about her life like it was normal.

Also, after reading Tony's testimony - I don't think he had anything to do with it, but he said he kept trying to "push her away" a little. I'd wonder if off handedly he said something like "you know I really don't want the responsibility of having a 3 year old move in also..." - since Casey started basically moving in.
