They didn't get the letter til 7/15 -- which does seem like a long time. So I think Cindy kinda had a point about arguing about the storage fees. IMO

Most people would call LE when their car was not where they had parked it. LE would be able to provide the owner with the name of the tow company.

IMO, Casey did not tell her Mom & Dad the car was broke down, so they had no idea it was at the tow yard until they received a letter.

Cutting can be a sign of depression. From what I know of cutters, they tend to hold in their pain and anger, and the only way they can demonstrate to themselves that they still feel is to cut.

This is what a student once told me...he could only feel when he cuts. He had problems with long-term, clinical depression. Good kid...I hope his life worked out for him. :(

It is used to externalize massive amounts of internal pain. When you take the big pain on the inside and make it small pain on the outside, it's more manageable. Sorry to jump in, but I was a teenager not long ago.

Shocking, appalling contrasts, isn't it?

I'm kinda stunned...for Beth...I don't know what to say, and that's rare for me.

I don't know how she can deal with the lies and manipulations that have come from the Anthony household. She is one helluva woman, gotta give her that.

Again, I disagree.. but I respect your opinion. and just as an FYI, "cutting" is not a sign of agressive, violent or psychopathic behavior. Also, as far as I'm concerned we still do not know if Casey has ever been violent.
Casey obviously has self-esteem problems. From what has now surfaced about the Anthony family dynamic it is much more so. I guess I'm speaking from firsthand experience. I have only spoken of this a couple of times but my mother WAS CASEY ANTHONY TO A "T". And even tho my grandma was pretty close to Cindy - she wasn't a "denial" person. I grew up in it - I watched it - I never understood a whole lot of what was going on. As I became more and more of my own person and growing older certainly lends new insights to things you don't comprehend, I put more and more pieces of the puzzle together. Now, my mother never did anything as sinister as this - her behavior was CA day in and day out. That's why I'm saying the Feb seizure "misfired" something. Casey could not longer control Casey. She couldn't perform anymore and she still had the "family dynamic" top deal with along with Caylee growing older.

I believe it was the "beginning of the end" for her.

statement of the day quick!

Can you imagine the grace that Beth embodies, demonstrates by participating in this.

Her selflessness leaves me in a state of awe. I've always felt terrible for her...now I feel great respect and admiration for her.

Makes me proud to be a GRIT.

:)

Right! Remember Cindy was seeing a counselor who told her to kick Casey out?

Is that right? I kinda remember hearing that but had forgotten about it. Interesting.

I wonder if the release of the Discovery documents had anything to do with Cindy finally calling TES?
to me it does...I agree. Because at this point gma knows that casey knows all of it too and her charade is OFF! I think Cynthia was putting her eggs in two baskets...but knew which baskets the most eggs were in to begin with... with Casey out (and face it...she didn't want her out and didn't want her home) and the discovery out, and Casey in her house...time for egg pickin is over and time to find the grandbaby and call TES. I am glad gma has finally come around to that logical thinking.

I've got an idea that Tim is bringing her there to maybe talk some sense into Cindy. I can see him thinking that if she gets Cindy alone, and she talks mother to mother, maybe he can get some information to aid in the search.

I don't like Cindy but there has to be a reason that he's bringing her....she doesn't participate in his ground or dog searches as a rule.

Just guessing....and always, my opinion.

The Feb sizure may have "misfired" something, but why was she allowed to drive with a history of a seizure? Unless the seizure was alcohol induced????

Every time Casey says "I don't know where my daughter is" "I have no clue where Caylee is" things like that in her interview with the police all I keep thinking to myself is that maybe George or Cindy found what she had done and hid the proof making it the truth that she does not know where her daughter is.

or --she put her in a dumpster and doesn't know where the body is now - or - she did "hand her off" and doesn't know where she is -- no conclusions possible and no lie...

Hopefully they have enough shame to not even try.

Honestly, I wish that Beth could spend just five minutes with Casey, alone, no lawyers, no security. I think that Beth could muster the words to touch whatever is left of Casey's soul. If anyone could do it, Beth--having gone through all she has--could.

once TES gets there and they ask for volunteers i bet you will see people that are actually willing to search and poor joseph and his friends won't be alone with their little group any more.

But my understand of TE is that in order to join in the searches, you must be background checked first...so I don't know about volunteers. Maybe I am wrong.

I disagree. Casey's anti-social behaviors go way back.. didn't you read the documents released, Swag?

Yes, the childhood friend said that he and Cindy put together stories and realized that the lies went back for ten years. Everything was a lie. I had already figured that it went back to adolescence as a way to stay out of trouble and get more money out of the parents for things.

Agreed. She has devoted so much towards the search of other missing people yet she's walking into the den of shame for those who won't even search for her own. The worst part is, from what I have read previously, she is often a main POC with the family.

I sure hope she doesn't have to be this time.
