Caylee Anthony General Discussion thread #143

Channel 9 and CNN are reporting from sources it seems. Last night Channel 9 even changed their blacksplash? header? (whatever, my brain isn't working now) to read "Caylee is Dead". Now it's back to reading "Where is Caylee". So does that mean they are backtracking from their previous statements? That they feel they "jumped the gun?"

That money $50,000 is GONE--LP does not get that back. That is the "fee" 10 % of the bond. Tony Padilla is the bondsman and that is his fee. That's how bondsman make their money.

I thought as far as bail goes, you put down 10% and as long as they do not skip town and show up for their hearing you get that money back.

I agree; Baez has most likely looked at the possibility of using the insanity defense, but I don't think people will buy it.

Exactly. I have no idea how the Court will ultimately classify Casey. But I'm very comfortable saying that Casey is an extremely disturbed person.

Could be everything is in at the States Atty's office.
It's late Friday before a holiday weekend and possible just want to review everything carefully. Don't want to give Baez anything to question or refute.
JB on NG yesterday said he was not shown any results of any evidence of the forensic testing. He made a point of saying nothing had been shown to him or he was unaware of any results being released.

Huh? I thought today was Thursday. Don't tell me I lost a day!

I do not want to be a bother, but I would like to go back and view the bond hearing. I am curious about Cindy saying: There is NO evidence. Tell me maybe where to look for that.? Thank you.

Did I hear/read today that Tim from TES and Cindy were sharing hugs today? If so, has he come into this situation blind?
Ah well, probably best. His work is better done not knowing what we all know.

Tim MUST remain neutral, his job is to find Caylee. Regardless of how it got that way, she knows she has lost her grandaughter to unnatural causes. There is no-one better than him to understand that and offer support. He cannot focus on the "how" and do his job effectively, and my money and faith are on every move he makes. Regardless of the result, I know this case will benefit from his involvement.

Headline News saying the DNA results match up with Caylee's hair, however, it is not unusual to have your child's hair in your trunk. They feel the blood sample will be more definitive.

Sure, my kids ride in the trunk all the time......:eek:NOT!

CNN headline news just reported the hair found in the trunk was Caylee's and it was from a decomposed body. Hair grows a certain bacteria and/or mold or something like that after death, and this hair was from after death

Each horrible revelation like this, gets more sickening to me.

The anthony cam I am watching is showing a black car sitting in the driveway of a house that does not look like the anthony house I have seen on tv. What is going on with it? Can someone explain. Am I at the right place?

WHy doesn't he just drive her back tomorrow morning? I'd go check the Padilla thread but I'm afraid I'll get the server is busy!!! ARGH.

Ok I just wonder how DD got this info: good job if this is the leaked FBI Stuff

"The decomposition fluids in the trunk yielded epithelial cells that came from the inside of someone’s nose and mouth. The DNA from that fluid, from those cells, is consistent with Caylee’s. The hair from the trunk is also consistent with Caylee’s hair, and showed bacterial infestation of the root and hair follicle that are indicative of postmortem shedding - that is, the hair was left in the trunk after Caylee was dead."

"Even the air samples sent to the University of Tennessee’s Body Farm for testing showed the presence of human cadaverine and putrescine, the polyamines which are most present in human decomposition. It is now blatantly obvious that Caylee Anthony was in her mother’s car trunk for awhile after she died."

Yes but it WOULD be unusual if the hair came from a decomposing child...the final report from the FBI may be pending because they are still confirming that?

Thats my understand also, hence why the have bounty hunters- so they DON'T lose the money.

There is a defining band around hair coming from a dead body. It it has that band it will show that she was dead and in the trunk (cant even stand to type it) and that will be just as conclusive as anything else.

And I think that result has already came back and shows that she is dead, I'm I right?

I think that the LE has enough info to know that she did it and when, etc. I think they are playing a chess game with her now to try and locate the body. I would think that they could win a case for homocide w/ her based on the circumstanial evidence, but having the remains would be the beginning of the healing process for so many. I think their leaks are planned and they are trying to flush her out (or do I watch too much Law and Order and other shows like it)? Sounds to me like they are doing a very good job. Next she will say one of her bfs killed her and she was forced to cover it up or something like that. And as for the backpack, probably her Ipod, her makeup (since she thinks that she can bat her eyes and get what she wants from a man...like when she was grabbing at the BH and the atty's arms), stuff like that, you know what's important to her now. Maybe a laptop so she can go on and meet new friends on myspace under and alias.

Thanks, Blink. I agree with all you say. How does that Cindy continue to go on? At what point really do you think she allowed her mind to accept that Caylee is dead?
