I would be so afraid of a lawsuit if I had a pool and the neighbor kids came in to use it. Wouldn't Cindy worry about them leaving the ladder up, etc. where Caylee could get hurt or that one of them would drown while they were all at work?

How do we know that? He/she probably gave LE the date. But a confirmation either way has not been made by LE. The closest we have is their comment of mid month.

EXACTLY, confirmation has not been made by LE of a date. They made have said the neighbor doesn't recall the date, but I am not even going to quote LE unless I can find a news briefing they officially said it.

My purpose is saying Mark pulled the 18th out of his "blank" and Greta went with it also last night. It's only a theory of Mark to close the gap in the timeline.

I know what you mean. Cindy seems more sensible than to leave that gate unlocked.

This is Mark's theory of the 18th, this is not FACT that is was the 18th, because Mark said originally ... "Casey Anthony went to that house and borrowed a shovel. It hasn't been disclosed what day."
Mark also says "We feel it's important (the day of the shovel), and so does our source, that we tighten up this timeline. This is when he Miraculously pulls out of the air June 18th
In Mark's first comment you quoted "it hasn't been disclosed what day" tells me the date is known but not revealed, not that no one knows it. Isn't it possible the neighbor who owned the shovel recalled the date and told LE?

It's really hard for me to imagine too and I'm sure their homeowners insurance wouldn't like it at all! Most cities also have regulations about fences & gates when you have a pool.

That's what Cindy says Casey said, so who knows?

Actually that's another Cindyism=opinion base on no fact. She has a bad habit of doing this and the prosecutor at the bond hearing called her on the carpet for it.

I believe he is saying it hasn't been publicly disclosed until NOW that the 18th was the day she borrowed the shovel and that he and his source are releasing the date b/c it is important in creating a timeline. I don't think he's saying he's pulling that date out of his a&@--b/c what would a totally theorized date do to help any timeline?

I understand what you're saying now, Patty. :)

Yes, that is possible that the neighbors remembered the date and told LE. If the neighbors remembered the date when Mark spoke with them, chances are Mark would have revealed that himself, but he didn't.

My point is Mark is assuming the 18th to tighten the time line as he clearly stated "It hasn't been disclosed what day".

All I am trying to do is verify how the 18th came out of Mark and Greta's mouths.

I just wished that on her daughter's birthday she would give us all a "present" and tell where her daughter is. Casey seems to be one selfish child.

When this case is solved, if little Caylee is gone, I can't even imagine the pain this family will go through. They are holding on to anything they can find to just have a shred of hope. And also, all of us here on this forum will all grieve together. We've all gotten so emotionally attached. I can only read the posts at work (got in trouble for that) but I can't seem to separate myself from this.

LMAO! I remember seeing that cooler way back when sitting by the garage door and thinking maybe????? But then I thought nah.

That thought crossed my mind too, but that would have been waaaaay too bold!

Please don't yell at me...I'm asking this question to make sure I don't do anything wrong. :)

Has anyone posted any of the public records regarding the Anthony's home and some of the interesting information associated with it? Since they are public records is it appropriate to do so? I have some links and info, but don't want to cross any lines.

Thanks!

If she accidentally drowned in the pool Casey missed her chance to say that--in a credible way--a long time ago. She can easily be convicted of murder even if that becomes Casey's defense b/c who would believe her at that point?

If they recover the body, however, in a condition where drowning can be determined as the cause of death she'd have a greater chance w/ that as her defense--that it was an accident and she freaked. But she also could have easily drowned her on purpose so it would be up to the jury to decide. I believe the DA would still charge her w/ murder and get a conviction even if drowning is the determined cause of death--and that's two big ifs in terms of recovering the body and that being the determinable cause of death.

And I might be wrong, but I good lawyer will lay out this scenario to his client right? He must have told her...if there is anything you want to tell me about an accident, if she was drowned in the pool, the ME can verify that if we tell them where Caylee is soon enough. Am I wrong?

We have already seen the deed and loan info.

I haven't ruled anything out about those calls. Why was her family ignoring her is my first thought.

My thoughts exactly...WHY would they both ignore her repeated calls? Especially knowing she has Caylee with her...Right away I'd think "Oh My God, something happened to the baby!"

I was just searching for information that I thought occurred with the searching in the backyard. I remembered it being said that George noticed a spot at which he thought LE should look while they were searching in the backyard. I haven't found that info yet.

However, I did find this and didn't recall hearing this info before:

"Caylee's playground set was scrutinized by investigators on Thursday. Detectives removed it from the back yard, and several items were taken from the home."

I missed that with Mark F. Was the date actually stated by the neighbor? I thought the neighbor only said it was sometime the last two weeks of June.

Mark Fuhrman stated it was "his source" that said that the date that the incident of the borrowed shovel/backing the car into the driveway was June 18th.

I think the information about the shovel being borrowed and car back into the driveway "mid to late June" originally came from LE. They probably always knew the date, but didn't release the exact date publicly. I think Mark Fuhrman either got permission from LE to give the date, or talked to the neighbor himself.
