I totally agree panthera, but there are some that believe the Anthony's are obstructing justice and not being cooperative. There are threads on it.

IOW, his theory's are taken as fact but his opinions are discounted. go figure?
I will say I think it was stupid of Cindy to take the pants out of the car and wash them, but I don't believe she was trying to hide evidence. I just believe she wasn't thinking at the time of what really might have happened to Caylee. The first stage of grief is denial.

Read that again, though. It is awkwardly worded but what Mark is saying is that the date has not been revealed previously but he and his source--which I am 99.999% SURE IS LE--feel that it is important to leak the date of borrowing the shovel for the timeline. A totally made up date that MF pulled out of thin air and/or his own A@@ makes no sense at all. Sorry. MF doesn't use the word leak and it still has not been publicly confirmed by LE but they gave MF the go ahead to leak it to the public. It is clear--to me at least--that that is what Mark is saying.

I agree totally. His "source" gave him all of the info he talked about. He is a detective and I feel he has a friend in LE. I didn't get the feeling at all that he was theorizing anything. He was stating previously unreleased information that came to him.

New theory for the shovel :

It's a stretch.. but..

Maybe Casey borrowed the shovel NOT to bury Caylee, but rather to dig up some damning evidence. ( Scoop up blood in the dirt.. grass or dirt area where a body was laying )

She could have put that dirt in truck with body to remove from the scene ??

I know it is a stretch, but wasn't there dirt found in trunk ?? IIRC??

I had the same theory a few posts back! I think it could be very possible. That she was cleaning the area, that she needed the shovel to clean the area.

Yes, I know what you're getting at, and I'd like to know where he got that date from too. It seems to fit in with what's been said from the beginning that it was sometime in mid- to late-June but now being the 18th fits in even more with something happening to Caylee at the house on the 16th or 17th.

I know how he got that date of the 18th based on the 16th and 17th. But I am not going into it. Too tough of a board right now.

Is it just me, or does anyone else sometimes see the same replies posted several times, like avery other page (and I don't mean quoted). Like a person copies and pastes their reply if it goes ignored the first time around?

Who are you talking about? Mark Fuhrman? Sorry, I'm confused.

Sometimes you really just have to rely on common sense:

What did Cindy say to herself

Gee, I haven't seen my grandaughter in a month, Casey abanonded this car, it smells like a dead body....let me wash these pants.

I cannot get past those pants with her. Cannot do it. :furious:

Not a stretch at all. Something that I have never considered. Keep up the theories.

But....when she gets to the "real" jail...well, let me put it this way. Most women incarcerated have children of their own and would give anything to be with them. They won't be happy haveing someone like Casey around. She's in for some REALLY bad times.

This is so true. No doubt being in prison is light years from the experience she's having now. And thanks for the welcome, fellow Newbie. :blowkiss:

I don't think it is too much of a stretch. I hadn't thought of it before - Kudos to you and Game Theory for bringing it up!

That's why I tossed the cooler idea out. And I'm not now saying George's cooler had anything to do with Caylee. But it made me think and wonder if Casey took, borrowed or bought one somewhere during that time. Or any other type of container for that matter.

I hope those receipts Cindy had will help with learning that information.

Hey, I need a favor. I need something I can link that states the dates of the car impound, recovery by the Anthony's and when LE picked up the car. I try to keep the timeline as factual and tied to a reputable source as I can. If anyone has a link for this info, please pm me. Thank you!

I'm talking about Padilla and other LE statements that the Anthony's have been cooperative. And that's who Mark F referred to in the tape I believe. I should have made that more clear.
he does not reference anyone and further makes it as though it is his impression.

He got the date from his "source', he says so in the video.

I must be missing something because I just don't see why this is some problem..?

Another thought I've had that has been forming the last few days and I hadn’t seen addressed much is this--anyone else think that perhaps Casey is relieved (in a way) to be in jail?

Welcome! Like you I've been lurking quite a while and finally had to post LOL!!!
I think perhaps Casey might feel more comfortable in jail especially when she watches the news and realizes she may very well be the most hated woman in America right now. But....when she gets to the "real" jail...well, let me put it this way. Most women incarcerated have children of their own and would give anything to be with them. They won't be happy haveing someone like Casey around. She's in for some REALLY bad times.
I thought about this too, and recalling when she was smiling in the courtroom during the bail hearing, and her conversation with Lee where she seems like everythings just fine in there. What a shock it will be if and when she's tried & convicted of killing Caylee. She'll be like everybody else in prison who has killed a child ~ not very high up on the prison "ladder" at all and I don't think it will be very easy for her at all.

Can you link to Mark's sources being LE? maybe it is someone at the phone company.

There is no link confirming Mark's sources as LE. He was in LE for years and has stated many times on Greta's show that he talks to LE agencies all over the country regarding cases and they confide facts of cases in him. He single-handedly got a murder investigation re-opened in CT. And what would the phone company have to do w/ the date Casey borrowed the shovel from the neighbors?

You must be talking about mine :)

When I hit the send quick response button it just got stuck... like it was working. Never showed it sent.

I waited a couple minutes.. seemed stuck so I pushed send reply again.

Needless to say it showed up twice.

Sorry for the double:)

You are so welcome. So many people on this forum are sooo intelligent! I love just reading their posts. But sometimes they get on each other's nerves LOL!!!

I'm done Elley Mae concerning that post. You know and I know what its all about, and why the report on FOX today said LE went back to the apartment complex yesterday.

Many of us know what it is about, but at this point the unnamed person from Sawgrass may or may not have known the Anthony's in Ohio. (19 years ago) This person may or may not be the same person that was in Ohio but may just have the same name. So while we can speculate and drag another persons name, myspace and other information thru the mud, maybe the board is choosing a different path on this individual and letting you and your email to padilla take care of it. (We actually have the name as well)

Lets face it the Anthony's had that car in their possession for at least 2 days, and when LE checked it,still the smell of decomp. So I guess if they thought that they could make the smell go away then the thought of what might of happened would go with it. I feel sorry for people that are that naive.
